The hype is real. We went when they first opened got an OG burger meal, lemon pepper wings, and a blue lemonade. The service was sweet and helped us quickly. On to the food, our burger was delicious and the sauce paired perfectly with the hot seasoned fries. The vanilla milkshake we got after was top tier. The wings were good too but the burger and drinks stole the show.

As you can see we like the blue one most

We went to Marathon Burger today for like the 8th or 10th time. We frequent the Venice location as well. We actually attended the Grand Opening at this location. This time they finally got our order right!!! I noticed they have a new POS system. I feel this is the reason for better service. This works nicely for the staff and the customers. They also have a kiosk where you can walk in and place orders as well. I told them that it was my Auntie's first time at Marathon Burger. Cobby who took our order, blessed my Aunt with a slice of pound cake on the house. Pound Cake just happened to be her favorite cake. She was so surprised and tickled. As a matter of fact our whole party was amazed by her receiving a pound cake gift. Again, by far BEST time at Marathon Burger! The food is always amazing!!! We ordered almost everything off the menu. Even the vegetarian options. Everything is a 10 out of 10. The food ALWAYS tastes great. The temperature of the food was great. Always fresh quality ingredients.

It was pretty busy when we walked in. Lots of people and a little chaotic. We used the Kiosk to order. After waiting more than 20mins and I noticed people that came in after us were getting their food, I went up to ask about our order. And they said they did not have it. They asked what our order is and said they will make it now. So now we waited another 5-10mins. That part was a bit frustrating. However, she did feel bad and gave us an extra fries. So that was nice. The food? Bomb! The smash burger tasted so delicious. I wish I got a double. haha.

I can't resist a fly crip so I went to Marathon Burger This spot is great because you can shop up and down Meltose Ave and stop here for a burger. Inside it feels like an old diner with the island/bar style seating. I ordered the Marathon Burger Combo that came with their seasoned fries and blue lemonade. I thoroughly enjoyed the smashed burger and killed the fries. It was a solid meal 10/10

This place can be pretty packed if there's an event. I think when it first opened there was a long line. After the hyped died down I went to check what the fuss was about. The service was fairly quick but the place is pretty small and has a diner style seating arrangements. The food was pretty delicious even though it's pretty pricey for a burger the combo seems to be in line with other spots like five guys. Would check it out again if I'm nearby

Marathon Burger is more than just a burger spot--it's a continuation of Nipsey Hussle's legacy. Big respect to Blacc Sam and the entire Marathon team for keeping the marathon going. It's inspiring to see the vision continue to grow, and I'm excited for the upcoming Marathon Tacos! The burgers are great, but that blue lemonade is seriously addictive. Every visit, I have to get one. If you're in LA, this place is definitely worth checking out. The Marathon Continues.

If you're hitting up Marathon Burger on Melrose, come hungry and do yourself a massive favor: pay the extra $8 for the portobello mushroom upgrade. I added it to my burger, and it completely transformed the meal. The portobello is massive, incredibly juicy, perfectly seasoned, and adds a rich, savory depth that takes an already great burger to an absolute elite level. It's meaty enough to be a meal on its own, but combined with their perfectly cooked beef patty, it's a total game-changer. Yes, $8 sounds like a steep add-on, but it is worth every single penny. The service was spot-on, the vibe on Melrose is great, and the food speaks for itself. This is officially my new go-to spot in the area. 10/10 will be back!

This review is from someone who didn't have to stand in that long line outside. And honestly... sorry to everyone IN line because it ain't worth that wait. First problem: it's Melrose. So before you even think about a burger you gotta find parking, which already feels like part of the challenge just to get food. Then you walk in and immediately pass a bouncer just standing there chillin, which makes you wonder what exactly goes down here. Is this secretly a BYOB situation? Because if I'm allowed to bring alcohol to mix with that blue drink I saw, I'd like to know for future planning. Anyway, you walk inside and my old ass instantly gets blasted by music so loud I can't even hear what I'm supposed to order. I went in blind -- didn't research, didn't know what was good -- so I just got the OG burger, fries, and a Dr Pepper. They don't give you the drink right away, so you're just standing there awkwardly while your food cooks. Also weird rule: if you sit outside your food comes wrapped up in a bag like takeout. You only get a tray if you're eating inside. Cool I guess? Finally get the bag and the drink -- which has WAY too much ice. Ice is good though, love me some pebble ice. Sit outside where the music is still loud but at least survivable and start eating. It's a smash burger. And it's expensive. Like... we gotta chill with the expensive smash burgers already. The sauce is good though -- kinda animal-style -- and they're generous with ketchup and sauces which I respect. What does make this place different is the menu. You've got shrimp, wings, other stuff, so it's not JUST burgers. That part actually helps it stand out. But here's the thing: if I have to wait in line to order and then wait again for food, this isn't worth the effort. It's good, not life-changing. And honestly I'm kinda tired of smash burgers pretending they're worth a whole Melrose mission. If there's no line? Sure, stop in. If there's a crowd? Keep walking.

I am a big Nipsey fan & have had this spot on my list for a while. Each time I tried to make a trip the line was insane. Finally made the trip & found the line was reasonable enough to join! Parking is a bit of a hassle at this location. I think it's all about luck so probably just plan to take some time looking for parking. My boyfriend & I came with an appetite so we ordered quite a few things. We tried the OG Burger combo, fried shrimp, wings & fries. I also got the blue lemonade. The star of the show for me was the burger, I really enjoyed it. Flavorful, & just enough meat on it. I enjoyed the fried shrimp quite a bit as well! Just wish they offered hot sauce with it but I would definitely get it again. The wings were a bit dry but still had flavor. We took the food to go so the fries did get a little soggy, will have to give those a review next time when they are fresh. We waited quite a bit for our food, probably about 35-40 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. I love the ambiance of the place. The staff was super nice & chatty. One of the staff outside had us cracking up while waiting for our order. Glad to see the Marathon vision is staying alive & well repped. Can't wait to come back

My son and I stopped at The Marathon Burger for lunch on a weekday. The burger stand was clean. The customer service was good. It was our first time so the cashier took time to explain the difference in the burgers. We ordered strips, burgers, fries, wings and blueberry drink. The food was fresh and tasty. Definitely would try it again. We ate out on the patio. One of the employee saw to it the tables ans seats were clean. I watched him wipe down tables after patrons left after eating which I loved.

The wait was only 15 mins and the service was great. I ordered the marathon burger. It had unique flavors and tasted pretty good, so I wish it was bigger. The fries were seasoned perfectly but kinda soggy. They still tasted really good though. With minor tweaks this place could be great but it was still pretty good.

Marathon Burger I finally made it! All burgers are about $15 bucks with meals being $20. A bit pricey, but their Jr, Burger is $10 to try. I didn't like their soft fries much but the seasoning was great! their house sauce is tangy and good but not for everyone. I wasn't too into it, but it's awesome to be black and eat around black people. The area is highly policed and security awaits outside

I've met Nipsey back in 2014 and still hold the beloved photo I have with him. We were listening to his music when he was still on his way up and will forever "Double Up" on that. I finally got the chance to try this legacy establishment as I've been eager to try this one. Marathon burger just happened to be a vendor at a major event I participated in and worked for. I've tried their vegan burger option and it was hearty good. It came with this amazing sauce. The fries were just enough to complete the meal like any other typical fries. The burger was the main head if anything lol The staff on hand showed their strong work ethic at this event. Props to their team! I will say they are worth doing business with for your next event. I plan to give a location a visit to get a feel for it (Locations in Melrose and Venice). Amazing burgers! As always, the marathon continues! Thank you!

The restaurant is billed as French-Vietnamese and previously offered pho and related fare but did not have these options on our visit. Our family came on a Saturday evening after an afternoon in the mall. I got the Ahi Tuna burger ($18), a substantial slab of Ahi Tuna steak on a bun with a wasabi mayo and paired with perfectly crispy, well salted frites ($5). We also got the French lobster roll ($26) a decent, but not groundbreaking, sandwich with a spicy sauce. One of our children got the tomato soup ($10) which was phenomenal - creamy and tomatoey - and paired well with grilled cheese. The cafe was clean and positioned with a great view; service was good too, with the waitress making suggestions and accommodating our children's special requests. Prices, as listed above, were excellent for the quality and quantity of food provided in an otherwise quite expensive area. More Parisien then Indochine, Nicholas deserves the unusually high rating it commands for the area. If you're in the Beverly Center and looking for a quality, high-value meal, Nicholas est la meilleur choix. Magnifique! Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value: 5/5

Yes, I know, we all wanna be skinny like those beautiful French girls... ;) But Sometimes.... You've gotta just ignore social norms and say F it! F is for French! lol Yeah, sometimes you've gotta just exclaim: "I'm gettin' the Burger and I'm most DEFINITELY getting the Fries!" And nobody and I mean Nobody is going to stop me! Yeah, that was me and my mindset when I was out at the Beverly Center back in August. Hey! It was lunch. I was hungry. & Nicolas Eatery was there to handle all my needs. And just like Napoleon Bonaparte would have done... I strolled in, I walked straight to the bar top, sat down, placed my napkin in my lap, ordered a burger, a side of fries and of course L.A's FINEST tap water. And just like that, instead of following trends... I was setting them! So what did I get you ask?? Le Beverly Burger of course!! This alongside their perfectly fried French fries which you know I dipped in Ketchup... Yes, I know, so American of me! =) Sadly, my only mistake I made on this day... I should have ordered my favorite French Beer, 1664 Kronenbourg.... Damn! But Lance, this Mall is so crazy, where the heck do I go?? Nicolas Eatery is located on Level 6, or "six" in French (Fun Fact: spelled the same, sounds totally different) and trust, my French is No Good! If you're able to snag a window seat, you will get a clear view of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign in the distance. Of course I went with the Burger, but trust, this place has more than just French Fries. -French Baguette with Butter -French Onion Soup -French Omelette But if want to drink like the French do... You know they've got a little vin (wine) or you can go with the classic French 75 cocktail. So, to this ai say: Be like the French. Eat like the French. Drink... Like the French and come start your own La Révolution! But instead of storming Bastille, storm Beverly Center and demand your freedom to order whatever the hell you choose from Nicolas Eatery! And after you're done, walk out proudly singing Viva La France!!!

FOOD Bubble Waffle with Pistachio Gelato (5.5/5): Omg! I didn't know they have egg waffle here as well. It's a classic Hong Kong street food that I grew up with, you don't really see it around. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good. The bread is pretty soft and it's decently portioned, you could share the sandwich. It's a simple sandwich that's healthy and flavourful, you don't feel heavy after eating it. I like that it's not messy to eat (not overly saucey)! They hold the fillings with the little wooden sticks. AMBIENCE Sitting is spacious and clean, it's at the corner of the mall so it's not too crowded. There is enough space to put your shopping bags if you're trying to grab a quick bite around. Service is quite decent, the staff recommended the right stuff. It didn't take a long time for the food to be ready, good for grab and go. OVERALL I think it's a casual spot that serves healthy quick bites, it's a good option to sit down after or in between a shopping spree. It's not loud so you could definitely hold conversations here.
