One of the best sandwich shops I have visited! Since this was our first time here the person at the counter was great about explaining how the shop worked - sandwich sizes, how they're made, etc. All their sandwiches come on Dutch crunch bread which is delicious. I ordered one of their most popular sandwiches - the Melrose - which is turkey, ham, bacon and cheese. To say the least I was not disappointed. I ordered the large knowing I would take half home for the next day. The sandwich was huge and filled with goodness. Hubby ordered the Kickin' Chicken sandwich and said that was excellent too. It's a small shop with seating for about 15-20 people including the tables and counter along the window (20 would be squishing it). More of a grab a quick bite or grab and go place. We totally loved our sandwiches and look forward to our next visit to Ghost Sando Shop!!
This is one of the best sandwich shops I've ever been to. The fresh-baked bread is perfect and holds up well against all the incredible ingredients. The best part is all their amazing spreads. I personally got the Melrose and it was so good! I also tried my daughter's Terminator and Uncle Nikki and they were yummy as well. Prices are fair and service is fast. They also keep the place clean. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants a great sub sandwich.
Cashier was very pleasant and friendly to get our order. It's a small place with not much seating. The sandwiches are GREAT! I got the Uncle Nicki and my husband got the Firebird. He absolutely loved his sandwich as well as mine. We really like that the bread they use is toasted. Great touch to the sandwich. Highly recommend this place for a quick lunch
We ordered the Melrose and Howdy and really enjoyed them. The bread was fantastic and not dry at all. The sandwiches were generously sized and filled with tons of veggies. I am definitely going to go back to try some of their cold sandwiches next time.

Howdy - Dutch Crunch, mayo, Chicken tossed in sweet BBQ sauce, Bacon and melted Mozzarella topped with lettuce, red onion and dusted with chives. Phoenix - Dutch Crunch, mayo, Chicken tossed in spicy Buffalo Ranch, melted Mozzarella, topped with lettuce and dusted with chives. Terminator - Dutch Crunch, mayo, Black Forest Ham, Bacon, cream cheese, melted Swiss, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ, Tabasco, topped with lettuce and red onion. All delicious and always satisfied with their eats! Their breakfast sandwiches are fire, too, so don't sleep on them~!
Since we were in the area, we decided to stop here because of the great reviews we've seen. Did not disappoint, will definitely make the drive back again! I got the tuna cold sub 8/10 And what ever sandwich my sister got looked amazing and she rated it a 10/10, so i will be trying that one next time . Friendly staff and clean
Was so excited to hear there's an LA spot offering Dutch Crunch. That's one of my favorite breads for sandwiches. Unfortunately, there was a lack of a crunch in this sandwich. I love the hefty portion of meat and slaw that was in this sandwich but I thought it was a little too acidic for my liking. The staff were welcoming! They were patient as we were deciding what to order. They were also accommodating when we asked if they could cut the sandwich in 3's so we can all share. The store is a bit hard to find but they have a sign posted in front that advertise that they sell sandwiches. There's paid street parking in front and around the store. There's only a few tables inside the shop but it felt comfortable to enjoy a quick lunch.

This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles! Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way. It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in. I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment. They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'! Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients. I love that!! When in the LA area, I highly recommend making a stop at the Ghost Sando Shop!

Very small sub sandwich spot, but overall had a good experience! Service was great, everyone was friendly and everything came out really fast. I'm also really glad they offer a "shortie" size, which was perfect if you don't want a full sandwich. Price-wise, though, it is definitely on the expensive side for what you're getting. There's also no customer restroom, which was a little disappointing, and no parking. read more
Ghost Sandwich was such a great spot, and I would definitely come back. What stood out to me the most was the customizable menu with a wide variety of proteins, toppings, and breads, so it's easy to build a sandwich you'll enjoy. Every sandwich we tried was outstanding, and you really can't go wrong. It just comes down to your personal preferences. The location is also a big plus. It's right on Melrose and directly across from the Fairfax Flea on Sundays, making it a great place to grab a bite before or after walking around the area. It's so fun that most of my friends know how much I've been in love with sandwiches and they keep all those great recos coming my way! Recently my collegue who's also a sandwich fan, recommended me Ghost Sando. It's interestingly felt like confirmation sign given I've had it on my list, just haven't put it on priority list. July 4th it is, my first attempt trying Ghost Sando. It wasn't overly busy around noon, but I could see a ton of people ordered ahead online. The bright turquoise themed spot was like Tiffany's but made it sandwich place LOL. I've been going through people's review on the place, which were pretty diversed in terms of the top reco; some were from the hot selections, some the cold ones. Knowing their menu was pretty rich, it's such blessing that the attendant was super helpful in trying to explain and assisting me making choice. Apparently the difference between hot and cold wasn't the matter of one being toasted and other not (per my guesstimate), but more about the stuffing (protein & cheese) each featured. I went for the 'Howdy', which was served with uber generous amount of chicken breast slices and thick cut bacon. I felt I did get good balance on my veggie doze there looking at the equally thick layer of lettuce it carried. This one came with their Howdy sauce, basically the house's sweet barbeque, along with melted mozzarella cheese. If you're fond of the kind of sandwich with rich toppings and only light touch of sauce, this would definitely be your cup of tea. Overall it was delightful, but if I could I would fancy slightly more cheese there. Size to prize was certainly worthy IMO as their standard Large size was already super filling for me. They did have XL and XXL, which featured even EXTRA HAPPINESS (READ: more meat and cheese). For me the highlight was surprisingly their iconic Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll, YES THEIR BREAD! That golden-brown crust on top was perfectly crispy with hint of sweetness, somehow reminding me of HongKong Bolo Bun (IYKYK!). read more

Got the turkey sandwich today at work... pepper jack cheese and peppered turkey with a Chipotle style sauce I think. The owner is super nice and we all very much enjoyed every bite! Thank you so very much!!! The bread is hearty and can hold up to the mass amounts of fillings, meats, cheese and veggies that you will demolish. Wonderful service and I highly recommend for both an individual and a large group. A tasty variety of chips to choose from as well. High-quality and fresh! Definitely recommend! read more

DELICIOUS!! I am obsessed with this spot now. I visited for the first time yesterday. I ordered the vegetarian harvest 12 inch. I got the adobo sauce on the side. Ugh literally perfection. Been thinking of the sandwich non stop, can't wait to be back!! Also customer service was great! Despite them being super busy, slammed with online orders, they were still kind and helpful! Only downside to this location is they don't have restrooms, but definitely not a deal breaker! read more

Stopped by after seeing on Yelp that they use Dutch Crunch bread--I was hoping the sandwiches would be similar to Subculture in Huntington Beach. I ordered the Firebird with pastrami turkey, chipotle Gouda, jalapeño pepper jack, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and onions on Dutch Crunch bread with chipotle mayo and BLAST spread. The sandwich definitely comes loaded with meat, but mine felt a bit dry. Also, the Dutch Crunch bread didn't taste as fresh as Subculture's. I was disappointed--I was expecting it to be better based on the positive reviews on Yelp. read more
Visited this small sandwich spot as we were on the road around LA and thought we would check out this place since it had good reviews. it really lived up to the hype! We are big sandwich people at heart and loved that there was a variety of hot and cold sandwiches on the menu. At first, the menu could look overbearing and busy but the older guy at the front was really nice and helpful with good recommendation. There seemed to be some construction happening outside the building when we visited but otherwise seemed like a typical LA street. Overall, solid. sandwich spot. The pickled slaw was soo good and fresh-and i'm not even one to like peppers. The bread was crunchy and soft, typical dutch bread style. Amazing sandwiches with quality ingredients! Postmates had a promo, buy the Melrose sandwich and get another sandwich for free. So I ordered the uncle Nikki as my freebie. The melrose is a warm sandwich and when I received my order, it was still warm! Uncle Nikki is a cold sandwich and was loaded with Italian meats. I ordered the Italian dressing on the side because I didn't want the sandwich to get soggy since I wasn't going to be able to finish the whole thing. The Italian dressing is bomb!! I really enjoyed both sandwiches and can't wait to try their other sandwiches! The Dutch crunch bread adds a nice flavor to the sandwiches since it's kinda sweet. I didn't enjoy the Dutch crunch break at Ike's sandwiches but I enjoyed it here! Would like to visit in person one day so I can't say anything about the ambiance. I guess for $9.50 this isn't a terribly small portion. I do feel their Uber eats deal is a little deceptive because generally when Uber eats has a two for one deal you're getting a regularly sized item for free. When you purchase the 2 for 1 $18.88 deal from Ghost sando shop, you're just getting a reasonable amount of food for the price, you're not getting a deal. It's too very small sandwiches for 20 bucks. Definitely think their new sizing chart is terrible, the 6 inch is not a "regular" sized sandwich and an 8 inch is not an extra large. One of the big reasons you purchase these sandwiches is for the delicious bread, and I think calling an 8 inch sandwich even with extra toppings an extra large is a stretch, to put it mildly. Per the new BOGO rout you have to purchase their new 6 inch bbq "Howdy" sandwich in order to get the second sandwich of your choice. Aside from the fact that these two six inchers are just about enough to equate to one sandwich, the Howdy was not good. Drinks from the fridge could be much colder. They're just barely chilled. Still three stars because the uncle Nikki is a really yummy sandwich. Sometimes the workers are cool, sometimes they have a weird attitude for no reason. read more

Solid sando spot on melrose! Portions are generous, bread has a good crunch, and sauces are tasty. Came with a group on Saturday and I tried the Melrose (5/5) in the Large size which I devoured coming back from a run, but if I didn't it's definitely alot of food and could be shared. I got a side of the Blast sauce which was slightly spicy and creamy, I'd go back to try the other sauces. Their Dutch crunch bread reminded me of Ike's sandwiches - great consistency and the peppercinis in the Melrose were really good. Service was friendly and quick. I'd say this spot is a more simple version of Ike's sandwich shop, would come back if I'm near one! read more
I'm a regular of Ghost Sando in Burbank. Excited to see this location and I was ready for an early dinner. I don't usually have sandwiches for dinner but this is an exception. It's a favorite for sandwich shops! The melrose is one of my top choices and had that on this visit: Toasted Dutch Crunch Roll smeared with our famous Melrose spread and packed with Black Forrest Ham, Oven Roasted Turkey, Thick Cut Bacon and melted White American Cheese and topped with our house slaw (lettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in our Melrose spread) and tomato.
