Pasta sister's has been my go to pasta spot for years! I've never had a dish here I did not like. My favorite sauce and pasta combination is pesto with spaghetti but any cut will do. The pesto is fragrant and aromatic. The spaghetti pairs perfectly with it and always has a nice bite. My backup order is the lasagna that has a smooth and creamy béchamel that stands out from others I've had. Delicious. Lastly, I never leave this place without grabbing my favorite pastry Sfogliatella. This is a flaky layered dessert with a sweet ricotta filling and usually some type of citrus fruit filling. Firstly, I will start this off with the fact that I work down the street with about 50 people other people who often hungry and have probably never been here. I was on my way to another store + saw this place and got excited as I am italian. I played it safe + got the traditional spaghetti with tomato + basil. It was good ! Pasta is freshly made but I did ask for more sauce and was told there was a charge for it. Which is fine, but I would have liked to been informed on how much said charge would have been. They do a nice touch with the administration of the olive oil + vinegar for the bread. :) I would return again, this is definitely a neighborhood place that either you stumble upon as a local or you work in the area. I guess my point is as a new customer, you never know what kind of reach people can have. And the pasta in my opinion, did need more sauce. It's just straight up heavy cream that lacks flavor in the sauce. Lacking salt and pepper. Bland sauce. Should have gotten pesto as a sauce instead. But I did like the tortellini pasta. However, the pasta could have been softer in texture. There are 4 small foccacia bread sticks that come with your meal. They did not add any to my takeout meal, so I had to ask for it. One staff member was very nice and friendly and answered my questions, whereas another staff was cordial, but barely smiling and a bit cold, just doing her job. The place was empty when I got there. Worth the hype! Sadly not as affordable as it was when it first came onto the scene. It was renowned for handmade pasta at really cheap prices but now is equivalent to other sit-down Italian restaurants. However the quality is still not lost! The pasta definitely tastes from scratch, fresh and al dente. The sauces were well seasoned and not overly salty. The seafood bisque pasta and the carbonara tasted like they were made in your grandma's kitchen (if your grandma were Italian). Enjoyed my roasted broccoli (tasted more sauteed, $8). Staff here is super welcoming. Food smells amazing as soon as you walk in. I enjoyed their Bolognese with the papardelle noodle. Note, you can pick what style noodle you'd like to enjoy and I feel like having that option alone is a huge plus. Wow, this place was just amazing! You can't miss at Pasta Sisters. The pastas are cooked perfectly al dente and the sauces are light and tasty. Highly recommend getting the burrata add-on. The complimentary focaccia that comes with the pasta is addicting and the tiramisu was a perfect ending. We came on a Friday, a little before 12 pm, and were able to be seated for a table of 3 with no wait, after ordering at the counter. The restaurant is small and was almost full when we came in, but was pretty empty throughout the 12 pm hour. We got a spot in the small parking lot and there were several spots free throughout our time there. Service was super nice and accommodating. "Let's have pasta for lunch today." I said to my wife. I couldn't believe she thought I actually had a good idea. We were near Pasta Sisters and decided today was the day to finally give it a try. The guy behind the counter greeted us right away with a big, warm smile. The place was pretty busy too. It only seats a handful of people and once we sat down all of the seating was taken up. There was a constant steam of hungry people placing to go orders and a few of those food delivery guys came through as well. About two minutes into sitting, a saucer of olive oil and balsamic vinegar was placed in front of us along with some focaccia bread that I believe they make in house. For our meals, she ordered the chicken scallopini with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Me? I had the cacio e Pepe. Both dishes were a smash hit! Really top quality stuff here. Highly recommended. My wife and I stopped at Pasta Sisters for dinner last weekend and thanks to timing, were able to secure one of the small tables inside the restaurant. You pretty much only come to this place if you want one thing and that's exactly what the menu specializes in, PASTA! I ended up ordering the Bolognese and soon after adding a chicken cutlet to it, which is my only real complaint here. They charged like $12 for a single chicken cutlet, which is absolutely insane. I would not of done it if I saw the price before hand, but I was just excited to make my pasta dish chicken parm like, so I did it anyway. I really liked the pasta itself and the chicken cutlet was pretty standard for a chicken cutlet, but when mixed together, it made for a pretty satisfying dinner and once I rather enjoyed eating. Overall, Pasta Sisters was a solid dinner spot and had some really good food. Would I ever pay $12 for a single chicken cutlet again? My god, no, absolutely not. I have been to this location before and it is very small. I ordered the black truffle pasta and although I had it as takeout, I actually ate it immediately. The pasta itself is so well-made, but the truffle taste was minimal and at a price point of almost $30 I was disappointed. Uovo has lower prices and in this case, a much better truffle pasta dish. I love supporting small local businesses, but if you're going to charge a premium for truffle, you really need to make sure that the dish is bringing enough flavor to make the cost worthwhile. What an incredible experience every single time. I'd much rather stop here and get some phenomenal pasta or a wonderfully delicious sandwich than any fancy high end overpriced restaurant. We had a casual date night dinner here at Pasta Sisters this past weekend and it was delicious. The restaurant is small and in an unlikely area of town for how good it is, just a bit sketchy. The staff are friendly and kind, my husband and I were able to get a table after another party left but there are only a few tables here and a bar seating area as well. We ordered the mushroom creamy pasta and the pesto with burrata. Between the two the mushroom was the winner with delicious umami and creamy sauce that didn't disappoint. The pesto was good but felt like it was missing pine nuts or salt in the sauce but it was still fresh tasting.
