Got in and it was already busy and I was seated even though my cousin and her partner have not arrived. They ended up being late but the servers were really nice. I ordered latte and the French toast sampler while waiting. The French toast is really good - I picked 3 flavors- the Plain, Nutella and strawberries and crème. I will recommend this because you get a sampling of 3 different kinds of French toast and I like variety so this is perfect. The vibe is casual and I would say fun, very chill. They serve mimosa flights too and some cocktails if you're into that for brunch. They have a parking lot and I think they have a waitlist in yelp which I didn't even use as I might be early enough and got in before they got busy. Overall, the experience was okay. The service was awesome--everyone was very nice, and the servers were attentive and friendly. Our food came out quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food quality wasn't quite what I remembered. I ordered the French toast, which was good but nothing special--just okay. We also shared the chicken and waffle sandwich, which we didn't really care for. The chicken was greasy and could have been much crispier, and the waffles were soggy, which really took away from the sandwich overall. As a restaurant/cafe for Ktown, I would definitely recommend for the parking! Parking is free and valeted for this spot in Ktown! For food, the PORTIONS were HUGE and great! I got the Mac and cheese and it was nice and creamy with a panko crust which added a bit of extra crunch! However, for the California burrito, they had a LOT of potatoes which was really filling! The food is good for the most part... Our experiences have been hit or miss. For example, I really liked the chilaquiles the first time, but the last time, it was way too spicy. The chicken and waffle that a lot of people rave about, left us both underwhelmed. The chicken was sad (looked like frozen Tyson thigh meat), and the waffle, soggy. Orange juice tasted pre-made, not fresh squeezed. They do offer a full bar and custom flavored espresso martinis, which we enjoyed. This cafe is attached to a hotel, we came in on a Friday morning and were seated quickly. Our server, Foxy, was very attentive and helped us narrow down our options. I started with their fresh squeezed orange juice which of course was delicious! The other two people with me got the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. One of them did say that one of their pieces was a little soggy in the middle. I got the biscuits and gravy with their country potatoes. I thought mine was delicious, the potatoes were a little salty but I like my potatoes that way, I could see some people not enjoying that. The food overall was just okay. We got a matcha latte and drip coffee (side of almond milk) for our drinks which was decent. We got the French toast sampler with strawberries and cream, regular strawberries and plain but it didn't taste like there was any "cream cheese" in the strawberries and cream. Also, all of the French toast pieces were really mushy in the middle. We also got a breakfast burrito which was bland but the sauces pan the side were really good and saved the burrito. We unfortunately never saw our server after he took our order and when I went to the bathroom after the meal is when I finally saw him to ask for the check.
