This is a nice, cozy spot in DTLA with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered multiple dishes, and everything we tried was good lots of flavor and great variety to choose from. The only downside was the wait time, which was a bit longer than expected. However, the overall experience was still enjoyable, especially because of the wide selection of dishes available. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu.

I had a wonderful experience at Blu Jam Cafe. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Vegan Tostada. The tostada was full of flavor and seasoned to perfection. The tofu tostada was very crispy and crunchy which was delicious! The potatoes were also cooked perfectly. My son had the hangover scramble, sourdough toast and Blueberry Jam. He enjoyed his food also. He wanted a container of the Blueberry Jam to take home. We also ordered a Mimosa, Matcha Latte and a regular Latte. They were all delicious. I love the large mugs they put the hot drinks in. The service was good. You have to order from a QR code at your table. The food came out pretty quick. This location is located between Broadway and Spring Street. You can enter on either street. They have outside and inside seating available. I can't wait to visit this location again.

Went for brunch before it started getting really busy. Really great place because it's in this indoor alley that has different restaurants and coffee shops. We sat outside and I really enjoyed it because you get this kind of indoor outdoor feel. I got the Tuscany Scramble and wow it was really delicious. If you like pesto, you would love this a lot, I didnt know what to expect because I had nothing like this before, but the description was accurate. I was torn on either the tuscany scramble and the chilaquiles, but i really enjoyed my meal. I would totally go here again to get the chilaquiles or something that catches my eye.

Look how presentable the plates are! The food was good, but not great. I'd say the quality was just better than average! The menu is expansive though, and I'd be curious to return and try other plates/drinks. They have sangria, and I definitely want to try it next time. The service however, was so great! All the staff were quick, attentive, and friendly. They didn't rush us out or anything, either. Lastly, I did enjoy the location. There is an outdoor patio that is in a hallway of various businesses; it's covered/shaded, and yet still outside. Overall, it's a decent brunch in the middle of Downtown LA!

This neat little cafe is tucked in a food hall-ish area that looked like it could've been a train station of sorts back in the day. We came here on a Thursday around 12pm and it wasn't too busy. There's paid parking lots across the street, but it's in DTLA, so the area feels a little urban. We were met with wonderful service from the moment we entered. They have some seating inside and outside, but it's a lot cooler inside their restaurant than the "patio" area. Also, there's no restroom at this place. You have to ask for a ticket and go over to the security guard who will unlock the doors to the publicly shared restroom for you. Anyways, we got the breakfast carbonara and chilaquiles. I liked that they offered us an amuse bouche of a berry crepe. The crepe was really good and probably was the star of our whole meal. The breakfast carb was more of a risotto/mushy fried rice with peas, eggs, and pancetta. It tasted alright, but we couldn't help thinking about similar it was to fried rice. The chilaquiles was alright. The chips were on the thinner side, which caused them to get super soggy really fast with the watery sauce. While the flavors were there, the texture was not. This spot is more of an order at the front and pay at the front kind of place. Overall, great service, decent food.

We tried blu jam because of the reviews and proximity to our hotel. We stopped in for breakfast which was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant does not have servers but a hostess and then bussers/food runners. You can either order from your phone through a QR code or at the front station which I thought was interesting. We ordered a fresh squeezed oj which was delicious and definitely freshly squeezed. The iced latte had a great strong flavor. The only complaint is I drank it too fast. The breakfast sandwich had a perfect crisp to the bread. The egg was cooked spot on to medium so had a slight yolk dripping. The bacon was very crispy and overall it was an incredible breakfast sandwich. The crunchy French toast is breaded with a ground up cornflake. It was very crispy and came topped with fresh berries and two sides of a delicious vanilla sauce. We had a great breakfast and would recommend this spot to anyone.

Generous portions of delicious, beautifully prepared food. Stellar service, in a gorgeous, historic location. I have the Vegan Tex Mex Scramble. Super flavorful, more well seasoned than spicy. Served with lightly dressed, fresh spring mix salad and perfectly toasted artisan bread. So delicious. Our table shared their signature French toast, which never disappoints. This is the best BluJam location by far. Breakfast perfection.

Extensive menu The food here was good, nothing mind-blowing but enjoyable overall. I liked that they give you the option to self-order through your phone or go the traditional route with a server -- that was convenient. The menu is huge though. Honestly a little overwhelming with so many items to read through, it made it hard to decide what to get. I didn't love sitting inside. There's no A/C and with the open kitchen so close, it gets pretty hot and uncomfortable. If you can, I'd recommend waiting for outdoor seating -- much more comfortable. Overall, the food was good and the ordering options were solid, but I'd stick to sitting outside next time.

Eggs benedict is great here! We also really enjoy their french toast and it's plentiful to share with table. Service is attentive and the restaurant is nice and lively. A nice place to grab brunch and catch up.

The Service was amazing our server I can't remember his name was very attentive, this place was a spontaneous stop my sancho brought me here before his courthouse visit and we are definitely coming back if he doesn't get shipped away , over all the ambience was great. Additionally I'm not sure why this place does not come up on the front yelp page it's definitely a hidden gem the food was delicious but the hospitality makes this place worth the stop every time.

If you want a delicious, well-rounded breakfast with large portions and quick service, Blu Jam Cafe is the spot to go! Their menu is extensive and everything sounded so good, it was hard to choose. I went with the hangover scramble, which was delicious, but the star of the plate were those potatoes. Cut so small, they are perfectly crispy while being pillowy on the inside. The best part was the $5 sangrias on the weekend, a welcome surprise!

    BLTA
    Elaine B.

I had a hankering for a BLT, and this place came up as a spot that served them. Loved the indoor/outdoor patio thing they have going on. Server was super nice although I was a little confused at the "no server" stickers on the table. I will say I am generally a traditionalist when it comes to a BLT, so I was a little worried about the chipotle aioli, but I tried it. I loved it! The grilled potatoes are also a nice alternative to fries. I'll definitely be back to blu jam.

We will be coming back again and again in the future! *The valet price was steep. Will arrive earlier next time to try to snag some alternative parking.

Wow, an amazing lunch at an amazing spot! this hit all the notes for me, easily 4+ stars…read more We had a light lunch: the smoked tuna dip with these giant crisps somewhere between papadum and shrimp chips, also the famous biscuits -these are so fluffy and flaky, and served warm out of the oven, and third an arugula salad that was great, but compared to the other dishes -well it's hard to be a salad, amiright? I also had a phony Negroni that was pretty darn tasty, especially dressed up with lemon carve, a sprig of rosemary, and a big block of ice. The setting is gorgeous, an open indoor-outdoor space inside the Hauser & Wirth gallery, makes you want to just sit and relax all day. And the staff was super friendly.
