Sat outside on the lovely back patio. The Benedict's caught my eye and I went with the veggie style. The hash browns came out crispy as requested. Both delicious. Service was friendly and quick.
LORD how delicious, im gagged. Free water to start, tapatío and cholula bottles, and plentiful napkins. We got the french toast combo and the eleanor R special, it was really special. 10/10 guac, 10/10 huevos. The potatos could be crispier. Would come back, love the mexican workers

Local diner proves what makes this place a Silverlake staple. With charming seating directly on the sidewalk of Sunset Blvd, we loved our time here. Everything was delicious, but the homemade biscuit and the SLUTTY BUN made this place worthy of coming back to. Service was quick and charming as well.
Stopped by this beautiful spot straight from the airport. I ordered the Devils Mess and boy boy boy! That cajun turkey is spot on. Super fulfilling and packed with so much flavor and goodness. It's a must try (you'll be back)! Great service, great hospitality, great food!
Street parking was a bit of a hot mess, but the place was cute, and it was a fun spot to catch up with my friend I hadn't seen in a while! I started off with a latte. I don't remember what kind, but it was pretty good. I went with a LOX plate for breakfast while my friend got a full breakfast plate situation. My LOX was extremely basic, but got the job done. They don't really put much into making the plates look aesthetic, lol, but like I said, they did the job! It's very upbeat and social, so I wouldn't come if you're looking for quiet or to study. The workers were friendly. I probably wouldn't go back, but it was decent. I think the best part about the restaurant for me was how quick we got our food and also how cute the outdoor seating is. If they put a little more effort into the food, I may double back!
Overall, we had a pleasant experience at Millie's cafe! I ordered the usual breakfast combo with a waffle along with a matcha pistachio latte! The matcha pistachio latte was ok. It tasted mainly like milk and pistachio syrup with a hint of matcha. I would skip on ordering that. The usual breakfast combo was decent! The eggs and sausage were yummy! Potatoes were somewhat crispy as well. The waffle was mediocre. It was too batter heavy and tasted more like a pancake than a waffle. Would skip on the waffle and order a pancake instead. Service was excellent. The servers were attentive and met our requests quickly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated outdoors and there were plenty of umbrellas that provided shade. As several others have mentioned, parking is tricky. You will need to find street parking and it is located on a very busy street. I parked close by to the cafe in the neighborhood and walked over.
I've been here twice, and overall the food is decent if you're looking for Americanized breakfast options. The menu features some funny and creative dish names, and the portions are generous. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the serving sizes help justify it. One thing I didn't appreciate was that the tip is automatically set to 18%. Since the server holds the payment device while you're checking out, it can feel a little uncomfortable or pressured to leave that amount. I chose to sit outside, and there was a good amount of staff present, which was nice given the amount of foot traffic and people walking around the area. Overall, it's a solid spot for a hearty breakfast, though the automatic gratuity policy wasn't my favorite part of the experience.
Popular breakfast spot with good vibes in Silverlake. My friend recommended it so We came here on a Sunday morning it and it was packed with a long line, but they were moving pretty quick so we only waited about 15 minutes for a table for 3. They have a large menu with lots of options (including many vegan options!), and I decided with the Millies Style Breakfast burrito with rosemary potatoes on the side. It was soo tasty, and the service was amazing! Their prices are on the higher side, but they had good portion sizes. I will be back. Definitely recommend coming here for brunch, just be prepared to wait a bit.
Millie's on Sunset is one of those classic LA spots that delivers exactly what you want on a chill morning. The chilaquiles were legit ..crispy tortillas, perfectly scrambled eggs, that spicy salsa soaking in just right, and all the fresh ingredients. . We also got the French toast with fruit, and it was great: thick slices that were soft inside, topped with fresh berries and banana. Definitely recommended!

Customer service is incredible here, they're so nice and helpful. The seatings are outside, and there's a bathroom for customers inside. Parking can be hard since it's metered, but I was able to get one in the residential area to the right of the restaurant if facing it. The food itself was a good 3.5/5 overall, not anything amazing or something I'd come back for in my opinion. My blueberry matcha tasted like a blue raspberry jolly rancher but the pistachio matcha was good. I thought the chilaquiles Benedict was lacking flavor despite all the sauce. The French toast was a 5/5 tho! And the usual classic, it's a usual so it was good. Didn't take pics of the other foods sadly, but they did look good.

My partner lives down the street and we've been meaning to come visit for a long time! We came on a Friday afternoon thinking that it would be a long wait but it was actually very fast! Food: Incredible! I got a burrito that was had spinach, egg whites, & feta wrapped in a spinach tortilla topped with guacamole. I thought it was super filling. It came with a side of verde sauce and rosemary potatoes. The verde sauce was very flavorful and I loved the rosemary potatoes! My partner got a country fried steak and eggs and he devoured it! The main standout for me were the lemon ricotta pancakes! This is something I would definitely crave and come back for! Service: Exceptional! From the start to finish of our experience. The staff here were quick, attentive and kind! Ambiance: I can't say much because we were seated outside, but the interior looked pretty cool. I wouldn't have mind sitting inside, but it was a really nice day outside and there was so much seating! Overall, I would definitely be coming back, especially for the lemon ricotta pancakes! read more

Not only did they constantly check in on us (and not just our server) the whole staff was very attentive and nice! I liked the ambiance here too! The music is fun, and the vibes were just on point! We came on a very busy Saturday morning, to our surprise the line went by quick and we were in and out of there so quickly! Last but certainly not least.. the food is so good! Def big portions that you can share! I had the Irish Benedict and my boyfriend had country fried steak! We also share Banana Walnut Pancakes! It was delicious overall and would def com back! I came back to review them again because i miss them I got relocated back to my home division in Carson for work. This place was a 10/10 satisfaction for me. I usually enjoyed my work week Friday (mondays) here. Blueberry french toast, veggies, and egg as my protein? Come onnnn. It does not get any better than that. I love sitting outside. All the parties Ive had to privilege to sit next to have been dope. I've already reviewed them but had to come back and show them love. The exact same as the Pasadena location, but slightly less nice outside seating area since it's on the very crowded street of Sunset. Still not the biggest fan because it's very overpriced breakfast food and the food isn't even the best breakfast food (I make better eggs at home...). Service is super fast though! read more

Your go-to Silver Lake brunch spot with an upscale diner vibe. Most of the seating is at tables on the sidewalk. The staff moves a line like nothing you've ever seen before. You won't wait long to get seated. The menu is HUGE, and there are so many vegan and gluten-free options, including pancakes and waffles. The portions are massive, and everything's delicious. Hungover? Go here. Fam in town? Go here. Catching up with friends? Go here. Just want a fat omelette quickly? Go here. They've got you no matter what. read more
I stopped by Millie's on a Sunday around 9:30am and it was jam packed. I was, however, able to be seated after waiting about five minutes. I ordered the usually breakfast with chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs, and potato's, as well as an iced pistachio latte. The mate was ok, but I didn't really taste any pistachio flavor. The chocolate chip pancakes were soft and chocolaty. I loved the bacon and the potato's, even though I wish there was more than two pieces of bacon. Portion wise, the meal was large, although I'm not sure it's $21 dollars worthy. The service was good and the food came out fast. The waiter was very attentive and checked in often, which I appreciated. read more

TLDR: Overpriced for the quality of food and how cramped the seating is but nice outdoor seating and nostalgic staple location if that's your priority. I've been to Millie's a few times over the years and always had a good enough experience to want to come back. Unfortunately, this visit just wasn't the same. We came in early when it wasn't too crowded and there were plenty of open tables. I ordered a coffee, and my friend ordered a hot chocolate (with food). The coffee eventually came, but the hot chocolate was forgotten. I mentioned it to our server, and she apologized, saying she'd bring it out. Our food came, but still no hot chocolate. An older gentleman, who I think might be the owner, stopped by to check in, and I mentioned it to him as well. He apologized and said he'd get it handled, but it still never came. By the time we finished eating, the original waitress checked in again, and I pointed out that we still didn't have it. At that point, we didn't even want it anymore. Service felt dry, somewhat attentive, but not very effective if we had to repeat the same request multiple times with no actual resolution. To top it off, the bill originally listed two coffees instead of one coffee and one hot chocolate, though they crossed out the second coffee afterwards. Not a huge deal, but just kinda meh when I was hoping to relive a fond memory here and introduce new people to this spot. The atmosphere now seems geared toward a different crowd, which isn't really my style, but that's fine (not something that I factored into my rating just an observation for y'all). Between the "just okay" food and the lack of attentiveness, I probably wouldn't return. That said, it's a cool spot if you're more interested in outdoor seating and catching up with friends rather than coming for the food or service. read more

Best place for a huge all-American breakfast plate. Kind of reminds me of breakfast spots in NYC. I've been a few times through the years and it's always delicious. I initially visited when I was vegan and their selection for vegan food is still pretty great and holds up. read more

Really loved the food & drinks, super yummy and service is quick and with quality. Even when there's a lot of people there make sure to get your food to you as soon as possible. I love the lavender matcha & my friend loves the chai latte she says it's her favorite and the best! Shoutout to the cleaning crew as well that always keeps the space & restroom clean. This burrito was bomb as heck. It's one of the best breakfast burritos I've had to date. The tater tots were the absolute best. They were so crunchy. It made the burrito. The service was great, and that wait wasn't the worst. The line looks pretty long but it gets moving quick. It's a busy street with a busy restaurant. It's worth the hype. read more
Yum, yum and yum. Walked up and it seemed a bit chaotic but turned out to be great! Don't let the outside curb eating turn you off because this place is a vibe. Besides, who doesn't like people watching?!? Looking very lost, the staff greeted and sat us quickly. After looking over the menu, we decided to go with the country fried chicken and omelette with all the meats. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The country fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The omelette was loaded with meat and the potatoes were very good as well. The biscuit was everything! Tender and flakey. My brother and I stopped in for breakfast yesterday and had such a great experience. We sat at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was honestly really fun because everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. The food came out super fast and everything was packed with flavor. The staff were also extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered a dirty chai with oat milk and it was *chef's kiss*. For food, I got the chilaquiles Benedict -- definitely on the spicy side (I'm sensitive to spicy food though), but so delicious. My brother ordered the Devil's Mess and it was incredibly flavorful as well. Portions were huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. My brother also got the Blue Majik Latte and liked that as well. They also have a really wide variety of options on the menu, so there's something for everyone. Between the great food, fast service, and welcoming atmosphere, we'll definitely be back. read more
I love this place! It's a hip restaurant right in the heart of silver lake . The service is amazing . Everyone is so attentive the servers bus boys and managers are all welcoming and so accommodating. There is no sign up you just wait in line who ever is next gets the table it's simple but super effective . So no need to make reservations or anything like that. The food is nothing short of amazing . Had the shrimp scramble biscuits with gravy and 2 eggs with choice of meat and have to say breakfast hasn't been this good in a while . Aldo had the monkey breakfast pancake it's a must if you are into pancakes . It's a trendy spot of bourse it's the hipster part of LA. read more

So yummy! Service was incredibly friendly and quick! We were seated immediately. Plenty of outside seating, located on the sidewalk. I'm pretty picky with my matcha and was pleasantly surprised. The pistachio matcha (whole milk) was so tasty, would definitely order again (almost too sweet maybe ask for less sweetened). The chai latte (whole milk) was okay not the best but not bad! We ordered the Chicken & Waffles, Strawberry Banana Nutella Waffles. The waffles themselves were so yummy, great quality. The chicken was juicy & tender. Would definitely recommend and come back for a solid brunch. They also have a vegan menu! read more

Wow !!!! This place is amazing. The food was 10/10. Quality, my taste buds were jumping for happiness lol. The service was amazing. We came in on a Friday afternoon, sat down quickly, and the food came out relatively fast even though the restaurant did look pretty cool so I'm happy about that. Everything was amazing. We also ordered one of the lattes and it tasted very good. Everyone is very friendly. The staff is very attentive. We for sure will be coming back. Glad I found this spot. read more
For a Tuesday morning there was no wait, but definitely a handful of hungry customers enjoying their meals with their outside seating. Upon arrival, I was a bit confused on if I seat myself or approach a staff member (the staff seem to be roaming around and busy). I decided to walk in and just sat down since it was just me. The staff was quick to bring me a menu and water. I already had an idea of what I wanted to order so that was pretty quick. I didn't give any beverages a chance since I was planning on visiting a nearby business. What I ordered: Chocolate chip pancake combo with two scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and bacon (3.5/5) - this meal is $21.99 before tax. To me, that's a bit on the pricier side for a breakfast combo like this, but the portion size and quality might justify it to certain people. The bacon was cooked just right as it wasn't burnt nor too soft/chewy. The hash browns were lightly seasoned and a bit cold (The other option you have are the herb roasted potatoes). Look at those pancakes! 2 come in this combo stack. Cooked to a golden brown and the chocolate chips aren't too clustered. Soft on the inside, but a little dry. The syrup helped. Not too sweet, which is my preference. I wasn't able to finish so I asked for a to go box. When I reheated them later, they were still just as good. The main reason I am not rating this meal higher is because nothing really stood out to me. Sure, it was good but it didn't live up to the hype ... personally. I've had softer and tastier pancakes for a similar price (for example, CiCi's cafe). For this being a diner type of vibe, I think it's pretty average yet priced a little high. In addition, the staff is very on-go. They did check up on me, but I don't picture this to be the type of place you go to if you want attentive service. The inside seating is very small, but outside is basically the sidewalk.. so up to your preference. It doesn't bother me as much since I came alone, but just something for you to consider. There's street meter parking and free parking on the residential street. read more

They have the fluffiest cappuccino foam I've had so far. My friend got patty melt and it was good. Mine was pork belly benedict and it was legit. Hollandaise sauce complemented very well with pork belly. Really tasty and flavorful. Service and ambience were nice. Only downside was parking spots. read more

I went to Millie's Cafe in Pasadena, and the place is definitely overpriced. I ordered a breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, ham, and a slice of avocado -- it came out to $19.89. I also ordered a mineral water, which they charged $4.55 for. I gave the cashier $5.00, and she actually asked me if I "wanted my change back." This was a takeout order. Why would I not want my change? To top it off, there were no napkins included in my order. Overall, not a good experience. I won't be coming back. read more

First time here! It gets packed QUICK! We came here a hour after they were open & it was already almost full , with a line building. It took us about 5 min to be seated, the table set ups outside are rather close to the next table but get comfy because that's how it is. The service was quick & efficient, we did have to wave down a few people to get drinking water cups & silverware, but I give them grace, they are a popular breakfast spot especially since blowing up n tik tok recently. Silverlake is a trendy hipster area, so I love the atmosphere of dining outside, seeing people interstate with eachother of all kinds & people have their pups with them I just love the vibe. The drinks were delicious, I'm posting this about 2 months later so I forgot the names of the drinks & food but I know I got the Benedict which is my go to. I removed a star because they only serve has browns until 11am and only certain days of the week which was odd? I'm not a fan of breakfast potatoes, I love me some hash browns so I'll have to catch them on a day they're serving them. PARKING is also part of removal of star, it's not easy to get to, I had to look for 30 min for parking space, that's also just silverlake so be prepared for neighborhood street parking, meters, or like I had to.., $20 to park. Kinda annoying so maybe next time I'll just Waymo here instead haha. Definitely will be back tho! read more

Food: My omelette wasn't actually an omelette. I think they use less eggs to save money which in turn make it so the bottom part of the omelette doesn't have eggs only a layer of eggs on top. Too expensive for what it is. Coffee: I ordered a flat white, got a latte, I understand that this isn't a specialty coffee spot but It would've been a a nice addition if it was good. Service: Their main goal is to get you in and out as quick as humanely possible. Check was given before even halfway done eating. Asking if I need a box while my fork is still in hand. I don't need amazing service, I understand it's a diner but at least let the guests finish their food without feeling rushed and they have to take the food home to finish eating. Ambiance Music was bad for conversation. You also have a line of people watching and waiting for you to finish if that bothers you. Overall Don't waste your time or money here. I would not come back. I imagine d this place would be nightmare fuel if I was hungover which is what I like to go to diner for. read more
