Pastrami Burrito--the pastrami is but a gentle whisper and an afterthought
Belinda T.

Haven't tried Bread & Breakfast before and after hearing good things, I decided to order some burritos for breakfast. The bacon & sausage was BOGO and at basically $10 a burrito, it's a STEAL. Hefty and jam packed with soft fluffy eggs, subbed hashbrowns, and sausage chunks, it was fresh, delicious, chewy, and flavorful. Even at the regular price of $18, it's a solid deal for the quality and quantity of food you get. While the pastrami burrito was also good, at $20+ I feel like there should be more than just a whisper of pastrami hovering around the outside edges, and not even fully covering the edges! I probably tasted pastrami specifically maybe twice after eating half of the burrito. Just stick to the bacon & sausage imo. The house salsa is like a fresh chili paste which is delicious, and pairs well with the cilantro crema. A burrito comes with one of each sauce. Dubai chocolate cup got me--it's mostly cream, there's unfortunately not much Dubai chocolate about it.

After seeing this place get suggested to me many times, I had to try it. I love a good breakfast burritos and gave it a shot today. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with extra crispy bacon. First bite was wonderful! There is a perfect balance of all of the ingredients. The tots were seasoned well and perfectly crispy, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon was wonderfully seasoned, and the cheese was well balanced (I subbed for Mexican cheese blend). The cilantro crema was so yummy! I will definitely come back :)

As far as breakfast burritos go, this was an incredibly solid choice. Would give it 4.25 stars if I could. It was absolutely delicious, great proportions, and great mouth feel with the tator tots. I really liked one of the sauces that came with it. We ordered it to be delivered and it was still nice and warm when it got to us. Would definitely order from here again!

Continuing my hunt for great breakfast burritos in LA, this spot was a solid find. I checked out the new echo park location, which I believe is a ghost kitchen and mostly for pickup. I ordered the sausage and bacon breakfast burrito(extra crispy). It was super hearty, flavorful, and came with a spicy green salsa and creamy cilantro sauce that paired really well with it. I was full halfway through eating it which is a good sign. I'd rate it a 8/10. Definitely a solid breakfast burrito that I'll add to my rotation, and one I'd happily order again.

Wake & Late who? Give me a bread & breakfast bacon breakfast burrito extra crispy, sliced in half, ANY day of the week over the aforementioned location. The folks here do not skimp out at all for the ingredients - every bite is a mouthful of deliciousness. I wouldn't be able to comment on service as I ordered online, however the speed that the food was prepared was quick, even for a delivery. I'll definitely be choosing this spot again in the future- it's taking my number 1 breakfast burrito spot in LA for now.

Carne Asada & Bacon Burrito

This Bread & Breakfast is a ghost kitchen offering pickup or delivery options only. I ordered the bacon & carne asada burrito, it was yummy! Every burrito comes with a creamy cilantro sauce & salsa fresca. I wish it was an actual sitdown & have a cup of coffee kind of restaurant. As far as breakfast burritos go it's a solid 7.5/10.

Food was good. They have a good sauce to add to the bowl. There's no area to sit since it's a pop up place.

I had been hearing about bread and breakfast but I'm just never in the area for the locations but after finding the ghost kitchen in echo park, I def made the drive over the thanksgiving break which was a lot easier lol. They have a small lot to park and a little bit of street parking and I was able to find street parking very easily. Since I placed my order online, it was ready and there was no hassle receiving the order. Immediately after opening this, it already took the cake with being the biggest burrito I've received in LA for around $20 so I was #hopecore in actually trying it. I was going to try a little bit and save the rest for later but it was genuinely soooo good I had to finish it right then and there. I think so far this is my #1 in breakfast burritos in LA and now I'm looking for opportunities to go back lol

I already love Bread & Breakfast at their North Hollywood and Burbank locations, so when I found out they opened one in Echo Park, you know I had to stop by for a breakfast burrito. I ordered the pastrami burrito with the tallow tater tots, and man... it did not disappoint. The cilantro-lime crema is incredible, and their chipotle sauce is another favorite--both take everything to the next level. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Whether you're into bacon, sausage, basturma, soujuk, pastrami, or steak, they deliver every time. Highly recommend checking them out--Echo Park just got a serious breakfast upgrade!

Carne asada Carne Asada & Bacon Bowl
Cire P.

This is not a restaurant, this is commercial kitchen, when you order online and pick your food up from a locker. Nothing is wrong with that, but I wish it was communicated clearly. Food was alright, ordered the carne asada and bacon bowl. Tater tots got a little soggy by the time i got home. Also it took me 3-4 bites in to realize i've been eating the carne asada. Personally, I feel a little bit scammed paying 22$ for this bowl, but that's my experience. Will not come back.

This is what you see.

this place is not a restaurant. its a ghost kitchen. you cannot sit and eat here. i took an hour bed here to find that out. should be advised.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

Located between Koreatown and Pico-Union, this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience from the moment you're seated. My wife and I both ordered the Mole Coloradito with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. One detail we really appreciated was being able to choose between white meat or dark meat--a thoughtful touch that lets you customize your meal to your preference. The mole was rich, complex, and full of flavor, exactly what you would hope for from a restaurant known for its Oaxacan specialties. As a welcome appetizer, they bring fresh chips and salsa to the table, but what really impressed us was when they replaced the salsa with their incredible mole sauce. It was so good we found ourselves dipping everything into it. Both meals were served with rice that was perfectly cooked with a great consistency and flavor. For those feeling adventurous, give the Chapulines (grasshoppers) a try. They may sound intimidating, but they were surprisingly enjoyable and added to the authentic experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and patient with those of us who are not fluent in Spanish. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our visit. As soon as you walk up the stairwell you'll be transported into this super cute place with an outdoor-indoor feel, almost like an elegant treehouse. We were seated on the second level which provided a Birds Eye view of the restaurant. We ordered a few items to share: Cameron ceviche, flautas and for our sweet tooth, French toast paired with a mango sorbet surprise with a candle for our birthdays (tip: we drizzled the melted sorbet on our French toast and took small scoops with each bite - game changer!). Everything was so delicious! We also ordered mocktails, a miche-nada for him and a lemony drink for me. This experience wouldn't have been as great without the exceptional service we had. Our waters were always refilled without asking, our tables were cleaned with every dish, honestly top-notch service! And I live in Portland, which has really good vegetarian options. First of all, I could eat like 75% or more of the menu as a pescatarian. I was thrilled and so overwhelmed because I normally don't have that many choices! First of all, the water was infused and was delicious. I browsed the menu and had a really hard time deciding, but ended up on the cauliflower rajas taco, the crispy shrimp taco & the vegan Korean BBQ taco. The waiter recommended the crispy shrimp taco, but I actually enjoyed the vegetarian tacos more. I love cauliflower and poblano so that taco was a great starter. So much flavor and a variety of textures. The tortillas were super flavorful too. The potato taquitos came next and I am actually obsessed. The outside was perfectly crispy, the interior was soft, flavorful & cheesy. The sauce complimented it perfectly. I can not recommend them enough. The crispy shrimp taco was really good, but I also tried a crispy fish taco and would honestly get that over the shrimp. I think there was mango or something in the coleslaw of the fish taco because it had a really nice fresh flavor to it. Last, I had the vegan Korean BBQ taco. The mushroom shreds & the flavor were just perfect. Again, as a pescatarian I have really never had Korean BBQ because it's so heavily meat focused. I truly loved this taco. Another standout was the Scallop Aguachile. The portion of scallops was surprisingly generous, and the bright, tart sauce complemented the sweetness of the scallops perfectly. Easily one of the best aguachiles I've had. My fiancé ordered the seafood soup, and it was just as impressive. It was loaded with fish and shellfish, making it feel well worth the price.
