    MEAT Me At Fleur Omelette
    Michael M.

This is a great cafe to have breakfast. The service is phenomenal and the staff is friendly. I enjoyed the decor and the plants everywhere. While I ate, I was serenaded by the sounds of soothing music and pianists playing. The food was decent. I ordered the Meat Me @ Fleur Omelette with a side of garlic fries and toast. This place is a great way to start your day!

Atmosphere: This café is very small, with just a few tables inside and a couple outside, but it's cute and decorated with lots of plants. They also sell small potted plants in the front, which adds to the charm. It has a cozy vibe, almost like they're going for a "cutesy" aesthetic. Parking: There's no private parking, so you'll need to use metered parking right in front. Be prepared to pay a little extra for that. Food: We came mainly for the chilaquiles and tried both red and green. The plates were big, which was nice, and the salsa on them was flavorful. One downside is that they don't include meat. My sister upgraded to add steak, and that was almost $8 more, which felt a little pricey. We also tried a slice of banana bread, but unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy that. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time overall. Drinks & Extras: I ordered a hot latte, and it was really good. They also sell bread in the front, which is a nice touch. Service: The service was good, and since we were the only ones dining in at the time, it was quiet and not rushed at all. They take cards (and likely cash too). Overall: It's a small, cute café that feels welcoming and has good service. The food portions are generous and the salsa is tasty, but just know that adding meat will cost quite a bit more, and not everything (like the banana bread) hit the mark for us. Still, it's a nice little spot to try if you're nearby. Rating: I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars -- good experience overall, with tasty chilaquiles and nice service, but the price for extras and the banana bread bring it down a notch.

This is one of my favorite breakfast cafes. Locally owned, the food is amazing, and the staff treat you like family. Love the 2+2+2. You can even ask them to add peppers & onions to the eggs and potatoes (definitely recommend). Everything I've had off the menu is filled with flavor and love. The lemonades are also soooo good.

Breakfast Burrito was very big. It was lacking in flavor. Omelette with spinach more salty than I expected. Banana bread was good. Orange juice was very fresh. It was a to-go order so service as usual.

Yes I recommend this spot. Friendliest service and cute little space. My friends and I would definitely return when in LA. Generous portions and delicious most importantly.

I stopped in for breakfast and to finish reading a book, and this was the perfect place for both! I got the breakfast combo with banana pancakes, scrambled eggs, two sausages, and potatoes. I also got a hot hazelnut latte. I recommend all of the above for a simple, filling breakfast, and the cafe ambience was perfect for the progress I needed to make on my book!

Green smoothie. Chicken, apple, mint, and date salad.

Ordered take-out, which was easy and efficient. I got the green smoothie at the recommendation of the staff, which was a great texture! I don't like green smoothies that are too juicy or tart. This one was just the right amount of smooth and creamy. The salad I got was great too! The chicken came on the side and isn't pictured. The salad came has apples, dates, bell pepper, and mint, which was a refreshing mix of flavors.

My order arrived luke warm but it did taste decent. The waitress had an attitude for no reason, maybe she was having a bad day? Everything in the photo cost $30 (including tip) I didn't think this place was worth it at all.

Our waiter was personable and took our order quickly as well as consistently replenished our drinking water. Everything was delicious and had its own unique flavor, from the chickpea fritters which had softness and crunchiness, the goat mousse with sweet and savory sauces and the crumpets and crackers; then the goat belly with a deliciously crisp skin and soft inside and intense flavor (but not gamey) with a rich sauce, the steak was yummy and precut, and the pork shank which was epic! I loved all the greens and pita to wrap the pork and goodies into! We ended with a bday scoop of mango sticky ice cream which was completely different than I've had before and yummy.

With things like goat curry and gluten free options, you gotta have rice. Second, they ran out of goat curry. I came all the way from San Diego to try it. Oh well. Excuse to come back. I loved every bite I tried. There was nothing that disappointed. The standouts were the green beans, the Brussels sprouts that came with the chicken, the pork shank and the tuna and crunchy quinoa salad. I'm still thinking of that crunchy quinoa. We had no room for dessert. So maybe next time we try the goat curry, get the quinoa salad again and get dessert! The service was great too. Attentive but not overbearing. It's a cute restaurant both inside and outside.

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.
