The cafe had a really cute vibe and ambience to it. The lights were really aesthetic and we were seated in a room with full glass windows so it didn't feel claustrophobic with 11 of us in our group. It was strangely quiet, but it was also Super Bowl Sunday, so that's probably why. Service was 10/10. There were 11 of us there for a birthday dinner and Denton was very kind and attentive to each of us. He even brought out a little birthday pastry for my brother and small cake slices for the table, which was a very kind gesture. Their pizzas were probably the star of the night. We got the truffle, combination, and hawaiian which were all really good. Nice and crispy, soft crust, plenty of flavor. The pastas were average-mediocre, nothing too outstanding. I think the flavors were there but it was just lacking some salt. Other things to note, parking is through a small alley from the driveway right in front. It looked like there was a valet booth that wasn't open so we just parked for free.

Concerto is consistently good. Went for dinner a few months ago then for lunch last week. During lunch, the parking lot in the back was open & free. At different I energy time, there's parking fee & a valet. For lunch, we ordered mentaiko pasta, calamari salad & truffle pizza and shared. Evertyhing was good. The servers were attentive & ame by often. The only thing was there were too many flies... we told one server in the hopes they will turn the bug zapper on or something but he didn't. We told another server and he was very apologetic & shared he even put bug tape(?) but it didn't to much good. He turned the A/C on, hoping the fan will keep the flies away. That seemed to help. Maybe they should invest in those little fan things to put on each table to keep the bugs away, especially with summer quickly approaching. This is a good spot in k-town if you don't feel like having korean food.

Great ambience. A great place to chill and drink your cafe mocha or cocktails . I highly recommend this place.

A great spot for a quiet daytime meal. The pasta, salad, and everything we ordered tasted delicious. The only surprising moment was when a bird flew into the downstairs dining area because the door was open, but aside from that, it was a really nice experience.

I've been going to Cafe Concerto ever since it first opened decades ago -- probably more than 70 to 80 times so far. I've had both brunch and dinner here many times, and everything has always been delicious -- from the food to the desserts. Aiden, one of the waiters, has always been incredibly friendly and nice, and even the valet parking man is very nice and polite. Recently, I've mostly come here with family and friends for dessert: August 1 (Friday evening) - dessert with family August 16 (Saturday evening) - dessert with friends September 6 (Saturday evening) - dessert with family October 19 (Sunday) - picked up a cheese plate to go for a rooftop potluck party with my friends. In the past, this place used to be packed on weekends -- you could barely find parking. But lately, even on weekend nights, it's been almost empty, which honestly doesn't surprise me anymore. While most of the staff are kind and welcoming, one employee named Denton has made my experience here extremely unpleasant multiple times. My friends who've been with me all agree -- his attitude and behavior are completely inappropriate for someone working in customer service. He's rude, short-tempered, and acts as if he's doing the customers a favor by letting them be there. For example, last year I came with about 12 friends, and when we politely asked to move a few tables together, he snapped and said, "How am I supposed to do that?" in a very irritated tone. He was very rude and impolite. On September 6, he even added a 20% service charge without saying a word about it. And every time I've asked for something simple like water, he's responded with visible annoyance. It's happened so many times that I've honestly lost count. I've loved this café for years, but I'm deeply disappointed that one rude employee could ruin what used to be one of my favorite places. Even yesterday, when I called to order a cheese plate to go, he answered the phone rudely. When I went to pick it up ($29.63 total), I paid $30 in cash. At first, I told him to keep the change, but then a second later, I changed my mind and asked for it back. He sarcastically said, "Why are you being so indecisive?" That was the last straw -- I didn't leave any tip and walked out. I'm normally a generous tipper when I'm treated kindly, but I wouldn't give even a dollar to someone like that. Denton should not be working in customer service. His arrogance and rudeness completely ruin the atmosphere of this place. It's really unfortunate because Cafe Concerto used to be such a wonderful spot that I truly loved. But, I really don't want to go here anymore because of him.

A late night dessert. I had some cheese(cake) with my wine.

Been coming here for a while now, very relaxing spot. Service is great and Denton always makes us feel welcome. Last but not least, whether you are visiting for a dinner or a quick coffee or cake, the food is great. Don't pass up the blueberry cheesecake, it is amazing!

Tonight we decided to try something a bit different. We came across this Italian/korean fusion restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the valet were sweet and gave us options. FYI parking is $5 inside for self parking. Once inside, Denton was immediately attentive and kind. He started us with a warm hot lemon water and an ice water for my partner. Which i really appreciated at night. He sat us down and also supplied me with a Blanket! Set a fire by us. Just overall Denton set the mood! I felt like a spoiled princess and I let him know how special I felt. For drinks we ordered an espresso martini and an old fashioned. The espresso martini was subtle and delicious! I sipped and enjoyed. I ordered the steak salad and the chicken Marsala. The salad was exactly what I was craving. Leafy greens, tomatoes, the vinaigrette with the steak. The Marsala was packed with chicken, it was tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes were creamy, but they only gave a small amount, wished we had a bit more potatoes and maybe a little less chicken. We loved the generous portion of chicken but didn't necessarily need it. For dessert we had a coconut latte and paired it with a sweet potato cake and tiramisu. Amazing! You could taste the espresso in the latte, it was rich and creamy and nothing was overly sweet! Same with the cakes. Soft, creamy, spongy. Again, just the right amount of sugar! Overall the service was amazing We felt at home and catered too. Worth every penny! I can't wait to come again and try something new. Their new honey espresso latte looked like something to try for dessert

I've been to Cafe Concerto about 6 times now, and I think it's finally time I leave a proper review. This spot does Korean-Italian fusion so well, putting a unique spin on classic dishes without overdoing it. Everything feels thoughtful, balanced, and consistently delicious. My go-to order (for two): Kimchi Carbonara Basil Pesto Cream Pasta Truffle Fries (non-negotiable)!!! If you're dining with a few extra people, I highly recommend throwing in the Asada Pizza for a satisfying carb-loaded addition bc it's bold, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. Even though I've been to Concerto multiple times, I find myself ordering the same dishes over and over again... and that pretty much tells you everything you need to know. These dishes hit every. single. time. Parking is valet-only, so plan accordingly. Cafe Concerto has never failed me, and I'm genuinely looking forward to branching out and trying more from their menu. But honestly? It'll be hard to skip my favorites :D Rating: 10/10 - One of my favorites in ktown!

We had a dinner reservation for Valentine's Day. Upon arrival, the host let us know that they'd overbooked and that we could be seated, but the kitchen was backed up and food would take an hour. It wasn't ideal, but we decided to stay because we couldn't find any other restaurant to reserve at due to the holiday. Our waitress was very nice, and desserts and drinks were on the house which was very appreciated, but it was evident the restaurant was short staffed as our drinks took 20+ minutes to get to our table with a handful of inquiries about it from us. Our food didn't get to our table until about an hour and a half after us being seated. The food was OK. The carbonara dukbokki tasted plain and was overloaded with white onion slices. And the bolognese was reminiscent of a simple home cooked spaghetti. Not bad in taste, but not worth the price. The tiramisu and strawberry cake however were very good. We appreciate the effort from our waitress, and we were even brought a burrata salad on the house for the long wait of our entrees, but the overall experience was very unpleasant and we will not be returning. Hopefully they can prepare better for big holidays to provide satisfactory service and avoid over-stressing staff.

Concerto has been serving Euro Korean Cuisine in the middle of k-town. With cozy and inviting patios and an upstairs dining area, it's perfect for a romantic dinner, a brunch or dinner with friends, or a casual drink with a delicious dessert! They put some creative touches on classic favorites and their new menu items. Irresistibly delicious Korean Italian Cuisine in the heart of Koreatown!! Don't miss out on their scrumptious desserts. So light, creamy and not overly sweet!! We've come here 3x and the food has been so scrumptious and customer service is top notch from Denton, Lena and Aiden!! They are amazing!! The best BULGOGI PIZZA in LA!! The Bulgogi Pizza and Lobster Pasta are customer favorites!! Their NEW Italian Sausage Mushroom Regotoni Pasta, Honey Summer Latte, Grilled Squid Salad, Sweet Pumpkin Salad, Grilled Octopus Fingerling Potato, Red Velvet Cake and Sweet Potato Cake were absolutely delicious!!

Visited Concerto for the second time after a few years, and I was so impressed by how much it has evolved. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered the lobster pasta, absolutely delicious! A perfect balance of flavor and freshness. Great service, great food. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Romantic dinner setting is on point at this spot. I had: 1. Grilled octopus leg - in tomato, olive 2. Lobster pasta 3. Bulgogi fried rice 4. Peach oolong iced tea

My friends and I had dinner at Caffe Concerto. I've always heard of the restaurant but actually never stopped by before. It's a dessert/coffee shop, bar, Italian restaurant... it literally has everything on the menu. Service was the highlight as our server (Denton) was friendly and talkative. He even gave us more complimentary bread bc we mentioned liking it. For a group of 4, we did family style and had some leftovers. We got salad, pizza, pasta, and risotto and tbh the food is very average. To give credit, every dish did have a ton of ingredients and flavor.

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

My husband and I didn't have a reservation, but we were able to put our name in and got seated about an hour or so later. I was amazed as soon as I walked in the door! It's just floor to ceiling decorated with everything tiki. So many fun details and even interactive elements that turn on when a particular drink was ordered. That was probably my favorite part honestly. We ordered the Tiki Diablo, which is a large tiki drink with a flaming volcano. And yes it does have an interactive element. It was really good. Very fruity and strong, but not overly so. Service was excellent. Our waitress was on it and even waited to make sure my husband was back from the bathroom before lighting our drink on fire. We didn't try any food this time, but a lot of people were ordering the Hawaiian pizza. Do with that what you may. Will definitely be back ti try more drinks and food. There are other great options too and whatever you go for, you can eat it in the bar. There's a good selection of drinks and the cocktails are solid. We already have a solid pub/microbrewery but this is a great bar with a different vibe. A bar has been in this location for years but we really love this new incarnation. The corridor between Wilshire Blvd and W 9th is becoming a great pocket for food and drink with good people looking for BS free good times and the Her Little Bar crowd, staff and management are a great example that. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

They had a good selection of beers and my friends got their cocktails done perfectly. There was maybe one to two other people in this bar when we walked in. We had a booth all to ourselves. A good night at a solid bar in the neighborhood. I was a local, I'd be here more often.

Cocktails are strong and actually well done, but what makes it stand out is the experience. There's a learning component woven in, which makes it feel more intentional than your average bar. The drinks were strong (in the best way ) but still super smooth and enjoyable. Shoutout to Rich for being such an incredible host--he made our group feel welcomed, taken care of, and really elevated the whole experience. A couple things to note: there is parking available, but it is paid (you can either text to pay or use the kiosk machines). The experience itself lasts about 40-60 minutes, which felt like the perfect amount of time. The only downside for me was that the bathroom is shared for both genders. For safety reasons, I personally wish they were separate--so ladies, I'd recommend going with someone just to be safe. You just never know. They also give you a little treat afterwards, which was a really nice touch and a sweet way to end the visit! Overall, I'd definitely come back and recommend it to others

It's not surprising given the neighborhood and decor, but I think they lean towards more Japanese spirits and beers. For someone like me who's never been to Japan I feel like there's a traditional Japanese theme going on inside with lots of wood. A few friends and I came here on a holiday before dinner. Happy hour specials were still going on. I'm not sure if they thought they were gonna get that much business on a holiday but I think there's only maybe one or two people behind the bar. Since it was early when we got there, it was still not that crowded. I got the special which was a shot of Japanese whisky and a beer. Great price! Haha. I've walked by before where this place is really crowded so I assume there's a lot more people working behind the bar during the regular busy hours. Just a great place to grab drink drinks.

No exceptions, as I witnessed a family who really wanted to come in but had an 18 yr old so they weren't allowed in and because they had a minor with them they couldn't even sit outside in their seating area. Always good to know. Inside the bar got super busy. The inside was a bit dark but again it is a bar. I like the decor and the bar seating was packed. The drinks were good if you like whiskey they have it along with lists of beer options. Nice spot to try out.

I had placed a phone order, for pick up; upon arrival, I found the service was prompt. I saw my food ready to go, just past the main walk-in area. Almost immediately after that, I was taken care of by the host and on my way. I've been waiting to try this place for ages so on the drive back to work I was excited to steal a piece of meat from the bag. Initial bite flavor was good, meat was tender just a bit on the chewy side.. I wasn't bothered by it too much as I'd have to leave it in an oven warmer at work. Trying to keep food warm, in doing so, I knew there'd be only two possible outcomes, melting tender or either tough & dry. So, the dish of meat and rice sat in the warmer for almost an hour hour and a half. The downhill slope.... Set the "meat " on the veggies and began to eat. Meat after meat, I kept experiencing the same exact texture. It was the same exact rubbery chew, I initially tasted. Each and every piece was the same exact flavor. There was no peak, there was no pitfall. If you cook or grill, you know this is a red flag. Normally, consistency would be a good thing, a Master craftsman type experience, but this was NOT it. As go on, I get the sinking feeling, this can't be real meat. I lock in, the deeper I dig, each piece looks the same, broken apart the same, tastes the same, just various shapes. They can call me crazy for this one - I'll stand by it. Something is not right here. I'm not even going to throw it away. I'm going to study it for the next few days and post an updated review. I hope I'm wrong but as of right now, I'll never revisit this place. Too freaky of an experience. We
