Mother's Day meal offered, looking delicious!

I found out on social media that Concerto is closing after all these years! It was sad to learn and my wife and I wanted to go back one last time. This place has been a stable in K-Town, where a Korean owned restaurant focused on delivering the best coffee, French pastries and Italian food with a twist, while always maintain the excellence in food quality and presentation. It was bitter sweet stepping into the store, however, soon I learn that the store is closing but not closing! Learn from its own Concerto Cafe nearby, they are transitioning to the trendy, high profit margin pastry business. It's a great move and I am eager to come back to try the new Concerto. Although we were not given indoor seat on a fairly warm day, the service was exceptional. Thanks to restaurant such as Concerto to allow customers to enjoy the venue and share memories the past decade!

    MENTAIKO PASTA and steak sandwich

I went here a couple of Saturdays ago as I saw they have a promotion for their pastas and pizzas. Arrived around lunch - noonish I would say - compared to afternoon /dinner and late nights the service is much slower at this time. I also heard they're going to close for good? Not sure if it's true but I went anyway. It was already busy and full in the ground floor so we sat by the bar which has no AC and it was pretty hot. Ordered yuzu drink and Mentaiko pasta while my son had the steak sandwich which he said he liked very much. For a $20 it's good like I loved the creamy goodness but it's not too rich and had other elements on it that makes it savory. Suggest to go if you haven't been. Used to live nearby and I frequent it years ago when they had pastries (now it's completely gone) and you can dine upstairs where it's much nicer and cooler. If you do go - do dinner service I think they'll have more staff. Lunch service might frustrate you.

First time here! I have visited their cafe before and loved it, and finally made the trip here. Parking was super easy, valet was $5 on a Wednesday night. We got here and there was no wait. There were 2 other families at the time. We were given bread which was complimentary. We ordered the Shanghai crab and a mentaiko pasta. Both were delicious! I loved my mentaiko! Will be back!

Parking is limited; it's K-town. But Caffe Concerto is worth the visit. I've walked by so many times, but never had I tried it until now. I came with a party of four, and we had a variety of their dishes. The pastas were all delicious, though note that they tend to be heavier / thicker. None were too salty or too sweet, which was a plus. The pizza was tasty, though it wasn't too fluffy - definitely more of the harder bread. Service was okay; I'm not sure if it was because we were seated outside, but it felt very absent. However, the tables around us got some good attention... not sure why. Using the restroom was also a burning experience. The faucet is opposite of what you may expect, and the stream was fast when it was hot. When you finally figure it out after burning yourself, that stream is slow and smooth - what a disappointing way to end dinner...

I ordered the seafood pasta and really enjoyed it. The seafood tasted fresh, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce had good flavor without being too heavy. The portion size was decent, and the presentation was nice. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish there had been a little more seafood and the service was a bit slow during my visit. Overall, it's a solid choice, and I'd definitely come back to try other dishes.

Easy to park in the parking garage. Way affordable! So many things for everyone!! Perfect setup for people to walk up, take what they want and pay up front. I loved it and can't wait to come back. Very clean, happy employees!

The cafe had a really cute vibe and ambience to it. The lights were really aesthetic and we were seated in a room with full glass windows so it didn't feel claustrophobic with 11 of us in our group. It was strangely quiet, but it was also Super Bowl Sunday, so that's probably why. Service was 10/10. There were 11 of us there for a birthday dinner and Denton was very kind and attentive to each of us. He even brought out a little birthday pastry for my brother and small cake slices for the table, which was a very kind gesture. Their pizzas were probably the star of the night. We got the truffle, combination, and hawaiian which were all really good. Nice and crispy, soft crust, plenty of flavor. The pastas were average-mediocre, nothing too outstanding. I think the flavors were there but it was just lacking some salt. Other things to note, parking is through a small alley from the driveway right in front. It looked like there was a valet booth that wasn't open so we just parked for free.

I really don't understand the negative reviews! I have been coming here whenever in the area and service is always amazing! The main host/bartender has a great personality, extremely welcoming, makes sure we are well taken care of and gives us complimentary bread and desserts when the kitchen closes but still getting some great house wine The food is amazing! The ambience even better It's just so cozy and warm with the indoor small fire pits Highly recommend!

Always always a big fan of Caffe Concerto! My favorite is definitely the Mentaiko Pasta. And this July, they have the $20 deal for pizza and pastas. Such a great deal! But not only is the food so good here, we love the service and the staff. If this place closes, I'll miss it so much and miss such a great yummy food. We love Denton, the resto's manager! He's so funny and such a darling. Always gives us incredible service and super personable. Caffe Concerto is definitely a gem in the heart of Ktown!

Great vibes, great food, and always a great time with friends and coworkers. This has been one of our favorite spots to get together, and every visit has been enjoyable. It's truly sad to see them close at the end of July. We'll definitely miss this place and all the great memories we've made here. A special shoutout to Denton, who was always a pleasure to see. He kept us entertained, provided excellent service, and always made us feel welcome.

I've been going to Cafe Concerto ever since it first opened decades ago -- probably more than 70 to 80 times so far. I've had both brunch and dinner here many times, and everything has always been delicious -- from the food to the desserts. Aiden, one of the waiters, has always been incredibly friendly and nice, and even the valet parking man is very nice and polite. Recently, I've mostly come here with family and friends for dessert: August 1 (Friday evening) - dessert with family August 16 (Saturday evening) - dessert with friends September 6 (Saturday evening) - dessert with family October 19 (Sunday) - picked up a cheese plate to go for a rooftop potluck party with my friends. In the past, this place used to be packed on weekends -- you could barely find parking. But lately, even on weekend nights, it's been almost empty, which honestly doesn't surprise me anymore. While most of the staff are kind and welcoming, one employee named Denton has made my experience here extremely unpleasant multiple times. My friends who've been with me all agree -- his attitude and behavior are completely inappropriate for someone working in customer service. He's rude, short-tempered, and acts as if he's doing the customers a favor by letting them be there. For example, last year I came with about 12 friends, and when we politely asked to move a few tables together, he snapped and said, "How am I supposed to do that?" in a very irritated tone. He was very rude and impolite. On September 6, he even added a 20% service charge without saying a word about it. And every time I've asked for something simple like water, he's responded with visible annoyance. It's happened so many times that I've honestly lost count. I've loved this café for years, but I'm deeply disappointed that one rude employee could ruin what used to be one of my favorite places. Even yesterday, when I called to order a cheese plate to go, he answered the phone rudely. When I went to pick it up ($29.63 total), I paid $30 in cash. At first, I told him to keep the change, but then a second later, I changed my mind and asked for it back. He sarcastically said, "Why are you being so indecisive?" That was the last straw -- I didn't leave any tip and walked out. I'm normally a generous tipper when I'm treated kindly, but I wouldn't give even a dollar to someone like that. Denton should not be working in customer service. His arrogance and rudeness completely ruin the atmosphere of this place. It's really unfortunate because Cafe Concerto used to be such a wonderful spot that I truly loved. But, I really don't want to go here anymore because of him.

Food was great. There was a large variety of different foods. We had ordered two different pastas and a margherita pizza. All of them were very good. We also ended up getting deserts which were the tiramisu, crème brûlée, and a slice of cake. All three were amazing. Service was very good and accommodating. The overall environment was very calm.

Tonight we decided to try something a bit different. We came across this Italian/korean fusion restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the valet were sweet and gave us options. FYI parking is $5 inside for self parking. Once inside, Denton was immediately attentive and kind. He started us with a warm hot lemon water and an ice water for my partner. Which i really appreciated at night. He sat us down and also supplied me with a Blanket! Set a fire by us. Just overall Denton set the mood! I felt like a spoiled princess and I let him know how special I felt. For drinks we ordered an espresso martini and an old fashioned. The espresso martini was subtle and delicious! I sipped and enjoyed. I ordered the steak salad and the chicken Marsala. The salad was exactly what I was craving. Leafy greens, tomatoes, the vinaigrette with the steak. The Marsala was packed with chicken, it was tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes were creamy, but they only gave a small amount, wished we had a bit more potatoes and maybe a little less chicken. We loved the generous portion of chicken but didn't necessarily need it. For dessert we had a coconut latte and paired it with a sweet potato cake and tiramisu. Amazing! You could taste the espresso in the latte, it was rich and creamy and nothing was overly sweet! Same with the cakes. Soft, creamy, spongy. Again, just the right amount of sugar! Overall the service was amazing We felt at home and catered too. Worth every penny! I can't wait to come again and try something new. Their new honey espresso latte looked like something to try for dessert

We came here around 1PM on a Sunday and the place was completely empty. The staff up front checked us in, sat us down, and guided us through the menu so we knew what was going on. The menu here has some chicken wings, sides, and other random things, but the unlimited pasta for $13.99 is what we were interested in checking out. Basically, they have a list of different pastas to choose from and if you want things like chicken or meatballs added, it can be for some extra money. Now, I wasn't about to spoil the $13.99 deal so I figured I was about to crush five or six plates of pasta, but come to find out, I was lying. I started off with a plate of the RIgatoni & Marinara and plate came out on literal fire. The pasta was super fresh and actually tasted really, really, really good. After crushing the first place, my confidence was up so I figured I would give the Smokey Chipotle Penne and it was even better then the first dish. The sauce had a little bit of a kick to it, but the flavour was so good I almost ordered it again.....almost. Come to find out, two plates of pasta was the most I was able to finish and I tapped out. Overall, Pasta Amore was a super fun time and definitely a place I could see returning to in the future. The vibes here were solid, the staff was very friendly, and the pasta wasn't just all you can eat, it was actually pretty good.

The servers were friendly and attentive and got us the beer and soju we ordered quickly. The drinks were yummy and easy to go down, it paired really well with the hearty food that came with it. The food came out hot and fresh. The kimchi pancakes were nice and crispy on the outside and had a nice chewy center with tangy crunches of kimchi. It balanced very well with the sauce they had, I liked it a lot. We ordered the honey nutty butter wings, it was fried well and came with a couple of tteokbokki. Personally it was a bit too sweet for me, I was craving some heat or acid to balance out the sauce. From the name I thought it would be a nutty sauce, but it was coated in honey butter and the nutty part was just a couple slivers of nuts sprinkled on top. I'd probably try a different flavour next time. Overall a really fun experiment and would definitely recommend you stopping by if you're looking for that kind of vibe.

Cozy, but nothing special inside. The place looks like a comfortable Asian-style pub.
