A very unassuming restaurant, and you have to know where you're going to find it, as the signage isn't flashy or major fro the outside. Myself and my husband along with 4 of our friends decided to try Vicky's before a play we were attending. At first, I was a little worried as it's not a large place, and looks more like a neighborhood spot, but I was pleasantly surprised when our food arrived. The service was great, as well as the timing of the food and drinks arriving after we ordered. The food was great, and they gave you nice portions that can be shared. Everything we ordered was tasty, as well as my friends were raving about the dishes they ordered. I will definitely recommend, and myself and my husband will be back for sure. The chicken sandwich was decent, but honestly not enough to make me want to come back. The sandwich had a good balance of toppings, but overall it just didn't wow me. I tried going to Vicky's a All Day a couple of weeks ago, but after circling the area looking for a parking spot, I gave up. I decided to give it another try and lucked out and found a spot. Parking in this area is always a challenge. The restaurant itself is cute, but it has a lot of hard surfaces, which means the noise has nowhere to go. It wasn't crowded when we arrived, so it wasn't an issue at first. As the place filled up, I noticed the noise level rising, but it never became a real problem. I like it when there is an open kitchen. Our server was cordial and took our order right away, but she never came back to check on us. At the end of the meal, we had to flag her down to get a to-go box and the check. Overall, the service was good but not great. I had the pizza, and my friend had the chicken and waffles. I was surprised by the portions, which were more than generous. The chicken and waffles was a piece of art and is probably one of the better versions we've had in Los Angeles. The pizza looked great, but when I picked it up, it was soggy and all the toppings slid off. I ended up having to eat it with a knife and fork. Vicky's All Day is Still my favorite restaurant. Its like a champion that will not be defeated. I'm gonna talk about two separate occasions. Came here one time to have the chicken sandwich, it was really, really good, and also had a side salad and then the barbecue chicken pizza. It was a lot of food but it was very good. Then came back again with my wife and had the Shakshouka which is my favorite meal. The sauce was so good, the vegetables were so good, and I paired it with a fried chicken breast. Pretty decent food. Got the roast chicken sandwich. Very nice flavors. The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly. The fries were crispy and had just the amount of salt. Appreciate that they had decaf latte and that was pretty good too. The restaurant is on the small side so the tables are a bit close together. Parking is rough. Loved it! We went on a Friday afternoon around 2 PM. There was no wait and it wasn't crowded. While deciding on my order, I saw someone with the chicken and waffles and decided to try it. The service was friendly. The place was nice, although I did not enjoy sitting next to the bussing area. Everything that hit the table was absolutely excellent. The chicken and waffles were actually chicken tenders that were fried well with a sweetness to them. The Greek omelet plate was delicious and it loved the French Toast Banana foster. Enjoyed a very pleasant brunch here. There is street parking on the main street and surrounding side streets. Check the signs as some is 1 hour and some 2 hour. The ambience is really nice, open and bright. The menu had several vegetarian options and had both breakfast and lunch dishes. Portions are very generous. I had a hot matcha latte ordered to my preferred level of sweetness (less sweet), and the sabich pita sandwich, an Israeli/Iraqi cold sandwich. Finally visited after seeing this spot on a number of posts recommending breakfast and lunch in West Adams. Easy walk up situation with a tablet out front where you can add your name to the wait list. Arrived around noon and only waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. Small space and busy on a Saturday but the staff moved quickly to clear tables for guests. Inside decor feels very cozy and like somewhere you want to be. Very lively and loud with patrons laughing and talking at the top of their lungs as they dine with friends and family. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh and the ingredients tasted great. My favorite was the hummus as it had tons of vegetables and complex flavors accompanied by a large piece of grilled laffa bread. Portions are large. My burger was seasoned well and stacked high. The Mediterranean salad was a bit wilted but the grilled shrimp and salmon that was added on top was delicious. I recommend stopping in whenever you are in the area if you're looking for tasty food, good service, a fun ambiance and walkable neighborhood. Not a suitable place for parties of 3 or more. Visited this establishment with a party of 7 and waited for over an hour to be seated with no updates. We finally sat and ordered right away. After 30min of no drinks we asked the sever if we could have our drinks first and then came back to say that our entire order ticket was lost in the system and we had to reorder again. Overall it was a 3 hour experience. The food was amazing but the wait was horrendous. Drinks were brought at the end and we had to remind them multiple times of what we ordered. They offered no accommodations for their mistakes , we just wanted some form of recognition for their errors. read more

I cannot explain how amazing the space is as my husband and I got a date night every Saturday for years! The ambience, the energy, the food, the food, the food, lol! I did also enjoy the crispy mushrooms! It was a great appetizer for the table to share. The sauce was tasty and the lemon juice was a nice touch. However I did not really enjoy my order, the banana and blueberry chia pudding. It was very pretty but could have used more texture. I was hoping there would be more cinnamon granola. Parking is a little tricky because it's straight a residential area.. I was able to find a spot in the residential area. When we arrive, we were greeted and it wasn't too crowded so we were able to get a seat. At first glance, I really enjoyed the coziness. Once we got in, we looked over the menu. I mentioned to the server that this is our first time and so she walked me through some of the selections that were most popular.. I must say it was a lot of options to choose. I narrowed it down to the bites, which I guess are appetizers but the portions were very large enough for the three of us to share and food left over to take home. The pairing sauce, which I thought was tahini-based just pleasantly complemented it. I got their Lox Toast and my friend got the Breakfast Sandwich, and if we forgot the waiting time for a sec, we're both pleased by our dishes. The salmon was generously served on top of the sourdough and it's just simple pairing with cream cheese and capers but I enjoyed it. The boiled egg also came at the precise doneness level I fancied. My friend's Breakfast Sandwich equally nailed it with beautiful trio of folded egg, cheese, and thick cut bacon. The idea of serving it with french toast certainly elevated this meal. If you're seeking for filling breakfast or brunch menu, Vicky's doubtlessly your go-to. I just hope they could improve the serving time. Amazing food spot! The food is super generous and very tasty. The bistro burger had me at "pastrami marmalade". It gave the burger a nice contrast from other burgers I've had and in a good way! I was also pleasantly surprised by the lightness and crispiness of the mushrooms. The only reason why it's 4 star is that parking is pretty rough. First review of 2026, and I'm happy it's for Vicky's All Day. This is a staple in the West Adams community, but somehow it was my first time here. I see why I hear nothing but great things about this restaurant. First off, it is a very relaxed environment. I received a warm welcome from the host/server. The interior was clean, and the decor was cozy. The books on the shelves made it feel like I was in someone's house or a very cool library. The shakshouka is one of their signature dishes, and it was amazing! Ingredients tasted so fresh, and you get a huge loaf of laffa bread on the side. Chai latte was also very good. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back many more times. read more
