Amazing food and friendly staff! Chiara was so fun to chat with and she made the best sandwich. Best place!

Paradiso sandwich

I've been wanting to give this spot a try for a while. All of their sandwiches are made with care, it took them a while to prepare the order before me and the mine but that's okay. I ordered the Paradiso since it is their most popular sandwich. This sandwich was delicious, fresh, and high quality. First, the bread was perfectly cooked, lightly salted, and sooo delicious. The ingredients inside were balanced and perfect together. The sandwiches here are big so I suggest sharing with someone! I ate half and my mom ate the order and it was the perfect amount. This sandwich didn't make me feel bloated after and I enjoyed it. I will be back to try other items on their menu.

Lived up to the hype for me! The fresh focaccia is both crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pistachio cream is the game changer that adds a nice depth of flavor to complement the salty cured meats. The store is small but strategically laid out to maximize space and seating. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Will be back to try different sandwiches, but I will always be drawn back by the signature L'italiana.

Hands down, this is the closest you'll get to a great Italian sandwich in Los Angeles. After spending time in Florence last year, we were spoiled by incredible sandwiches and deli meats--and this place truly takes you back. The bread and meats are spot on, just like what we had in Florence. I ordered the New Yorker (their roast beef), which was excellent, though I do wish the tomatoes were a bit better. We also tried the Paradiso, and that one was absolutely outstanding.

The first time I had All'Antico Vinaio was at its original location in Florence, Italy and I've been thinking about that sandwich since. So, I was very excited they were opening locations in LA! This location is located near Rodeo Drive. Street parking is possible, but I recommend finding a nearby parking garage and walking to the store. The inside is a bit small, though you can sit down and eat provided you find an available table. The ingredients are on display just like in Florence and you can watch them make your sandwich. The sandwich itself was really good, the ingredients taste fresh and the bread is perfectly crunchy on the exterior and fluffy on the inside. It's a bit small, but pretty filling. Definitely a pricey sandwich around ~$20, and not as good as the original, so I probably wouldn't get it too often. Still recommend if you are craving a sandwich!

Chiara being amazing like always

Amazing sandwich spot with fresh ingredients, great portions, and really friendly service. Chiara and Lara were both super welcoming and helpful the whole time. They gave great recommendations and made the experience even better. The sandwiches were delicious and everything came out fresh and fast. Definitely coming back again.

First time trying it since I was in the area. Couldn't decide which one and went with The boss and it's soooo good!

Its a great sandwich! Fresh burrata, crunchy bread, simple and fulfilling. Definitely worth a try. Staff was helpful and gave great recommendations. Clean store and nice presentation . Takes me back to Italy

La paradiso

Ordered the La paradiso and La Dante. Both were delicious. Personally liked La Dante a tad more. Compared to the sandwiches at Eataly, Lorenzo, and the cheese shop, you definitely get your bang for your buck. It's about $20 for a sandwich but you can split one sandwich with someone. Can't wait to try the other sandwiches!

In my youth, I went to Italy. While I was there, I went to a sandwich shop somewhere in the country. The sandwich maker was warming it up. He did not speak English, and I did not speak Italian. With pantomimes, we were able to communicate. He said, basta, with a hand gesture and frustrated tone, I could understand that despite the fact that we were both not speaking English. That experience was memorable because I was in Italy buying a sandwich and experienced local color (most likely red) but I do not remember the sandwich. In this experience, I had an Italian Sandwich, in a Beverly Hills shop, and here, the sandwich was memorable and a sincere pleasure to enjoy! I guess sometimes, one does not need to book a ticket to taste a bite of a country that feels like the country. Still buy plane and train tickets though. I have ridden in a gondola in Italy and that was both memorable and epic. I could not get that feeling riding a Gondola in Long Beach. I am just saying that some solid restaurants will transport you, at least while your chewing the food of their countries, which means I traveled to Italy for a few winks of my eyes and mouthfuls. As I understood it, this Italian shop came from Italy and set up shop in the US. I thought that this shop was the only one but reading other reviews I discovered that this shop is part of 4 link chain. I paid 23 dollars to park in Beverly Hills, right next to it, makes sense it is Beverly Hills, but maybe when I go to another link in the chain, I won't have to pay the exuberant parking price. When I entered I was the only person in the joint. A lovely woman, I think her name was Lira, was a pleasure to work with. I think she saw that I wanted a bit of pizzazz in my visit and she acted like an Italian serving me. Workers like her who go the extra Venetian mile, deserve Red Poppies, which apparently are all over Italy's country side. Like at one point, where I was eating, and viewing pictures (more on that later) I turned to her, and said Lira, and she responded Si, in an evident Italian accent, that was also marked by joy! and my inner person swooned! I think her name is Lira, I am not sure, and no, I am. not just picking that name cause it was Italy's former currency. Or maybe I am remember wrong and did something subconscious? This is a reminder to write names down of helpers who are worthy of praise, so I can give them said due praise. And she does deserve praise, she acted to help me feel more in Italy's country side. When I entered, I marveled at the display of curated cheeses and meats. They gave me taste of their bread, they gave me tastes of their spreads and their cheeses and meats. I tried the bread with the black truffle spread and I tried bread with their pistachio spread. Both were excellent but I decided to try their Le Paraiso, becuase Lira said that was their most popular sandwich. And every bite was wonderful Eventually, the wonderful got boring. Imagine getting an In Out Burger but the burger would be to traditional burgers connected and that was the new burger. You might enjoy the first few bites but after, eating the second burger might be a challenge because there is no variation in flvaor. That is what happened here I ate the first half which was wonderful. I especially liked that the sandwich had actual pistachios, so at times you would be surprised by texture and crunch. But eventually, the joy became of trial of endurance. Could I finish the sandwich because I had to? I chose not. I paired my sandwich with no chips, and Italian lemon soda which was refreshing and had a subtle citrus flavor. After I was food sleepy not food coma-ey. I sat in front a wall of pictures and I was able to appreciate them fully because I dazed as I enjoyed them. What I liked most about these pictures, was that they were not of the Leaning Tower of Pizza, or the Vatican, they were images of the country that are not known, which made me feel like I was walking pathways from the past. I also saw a picture of a man with a long gray haired beared and a hat that drooped hard from the front. Was this man just a commoner or was he someone famous from Italy? His hat was sensational though, and I could see how it could inspire a Project Runway challenge--- take this hate and use it as inpsiration for a modern look for a woman that is going on a date to an Italian vineyard? I I will also say that the place had little sandwich boards (not made out of wood) but those that hold flyers within adverstiing their different sandwiches, or more accurately, spotlighting some of their sandwiches. This I felt was a tad tacky because it was Subway adjacent! And I do not mean the red line, I mean the Subway artist shop that I consider budget forward. And. a place like this should be lux forward only. I am sure Lira would say Si! again to my comment.

Another great addition to the Beverly Hills restaurant scene and the Los Angeles sandwich scene. I was helped by two workers today, both of whom were so incredibly kind and sweet. I think she's latina but the brunette with tattoos making my sandwich was an absolute gem and has a bright soul, her enthusiasm definitely made for a better sandwich experience! I went with the La Paradiso, $18. A good price for a giant sandwich. The bread is crunchy, crispy, and fluffy. A bit mild in flavor but it's light with a good salt and olive oil coating. The mortadella is thinly sliced but piled high. It's lean, tasty, and savory without being salty. The straciatella is creamy, the pistachios offer a good crunch and the pistachio cream is rich and sharp. I also added tomatoes for a little extra to off-set the richness of the cream. Delicious sandwich and I'll be back to try more

I walked by many times and attracted by the freshly baked bread and the aroma Finally I got a chance to try with my family It is very tempting while watching them making the prosciutto slices and spreading the creams there The sandwich is very delicious The bread is crispy outside and flavorful Service is good but lunch time is very busy It is worthy to wait in the line We ordered "the New Yorker " ( roasted beef sandwich) It is very delicious and we will definitely come back to try other flavors There are few tables inside so it is fine to dine in there Street parking and parking structure is around

I can't believe they opened a another location so close by to where I'm at! I was literally walking around when I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I can't say this enough, THESE ARE THE BEST SANDWICHES! I was even happier I didn't have to wait in line! Was able to snag my favorite - LA TOSCANA! The salami, the fresh bread and the truffle honey. Can't go wrong with this choice! Plenty of seating compared to their other location, the staff is super friendly! Wishing them many years of success here!

I got the caprese, which was the fan favorite. The monaco (tuna sandwich), which was spicy and tasty. I also got the fiorelli which didn't seem like as much of a crowd pleaser but was still decent. Myself and some others were not a fan of the lemon preserve but with those removed the sandwiches were great.

I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I came here on a Saturday around 11am and there was no line - it took about 10 minutes to get my sandwiches and there was ample seating inside and out. Street parking was fine - metered and non metered spots all around. Would come again if i'm in the area!!

I ordered the mozzarella sandwich with fresh ovoline mozzarella, creamy avocado, crunchy alfalfa sprouts, pickled red onions, and zatar spread on their signature crackly house made focaccia. The sandwich was stacked incredibly high with fresh ingredients and every bite was delicious. The focaccia alone deserves recognition since it was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. The flavors worked really well together. The portion was huge and it took me about forty minutes to finish because it was so generously loaded. They even gave me a side of avocado at no charge which was a really nice surprise. We also both ordered the homemade lemonade which was to die for and very refreshing. For the quality and portion size the prices are very affordable. They also accept Blackbird which is a great bonus. Amazing sandwiches, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. Ok I love all the Hillstone Group restaurants!! This was my first time eating at The Honor Bar and…read moreit was 5/5!! I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich without the bread, devil eggs, and kale salad!! And OMG it was very good!! Even without the bread it was still on point!! The slaw was very tasty and yummy!! Kale salad with the peanuts was perfect! For my drink it ordered the Turnball Cabernet red wine that was suggested by Dylan and it was very good for my palette. The service was great! Dylan was our sever and he was very nice! And personable and easy going. Our order was not incorrect and it came out fresh and hot. But of course that's nothing new with Hillstone restaurants, they are all phenomenal!!! It's also located next to their sister restaurant South of Beverly. The Honor Wine is right next to it as well. It's dark and gives semi-upscale vibes! It's not that spacious since it's a bar so it's usually a long wait. I recommend coming early or trying to do reservations. This place is good for date night or a drink after work. I will return when I can!! I was not disappointed with my experience or food!! They have street parking and valet for $20! -Marshay D.

I like the dark vibe it has going though. The most frustrating part of it all? Servers came off super pretentious and would intentionally walk by your table without looking to avoid you asking them anything. Moreover, the place doesn't let you make many changes to your order. For example, if you ask for easy rice on the sushi, they will say no. If you ask for them to put the avocado on the side due to an allergy of one member of the group, they will say no. Our items came out SUPER slow, and this was after waiting a while for a table. The sushi is subpar - heavy on the rice and not enough fish. However, the coconut shrimp roll was good. That all being said, I'd go back and deal with it all again for the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both were a bit heavy on the bread in comparison to the protein, but delicious nonetheless.
