They still have free peanuts in the front and is one of the ONLY fast food establishments to give something to eat while waiting or just for the love of peanuts! Your items are still customizable for free! I ordered a juicy hamburger with a variety of different veggies! I love how this burger place offer GRILLED mushrooms. Fries are fresh and overstuffed in the bag like they're daring you to finish them. But the real reason we keep coming back is the staff. They're always upbeat, talking with the kids, moving quick, and actually enjoying their jobs. You can feel that energy the second you walk in. Really nice and attentive. The burger and fries tasted really good. Juicy and cooked well; except for the bacon, it was over cooked. The amount of condiments assembled is a good ratio. The only way I can rationalize the bad reviews is the increased prices, but food wise, it definitely hits the spot! Definitely a classic burger, yes it is a little pricey, but it's good quality. The inside kind of gives early 90s vibes, very nostalgic. Their fries are definitely my favorite though. The peanut oil definitely gives a lighter and crisper bite, so satisfying. Staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful. I recently came in very close to closing in hope for some late night fries. The ambience was cute- a checkered interior with newspaper clippings and customer artwork hanging on the walls make for a diner-type feel. They offer free peanuts, which was interesting and a bonus. The soda selection, too, is a plus. Service-wise, the employees were accommodating, kind, and efficient. No complaints here. As far as food quality, everything was "fine." Nothing exceptional nor was the size of the patties anything to be thrilled about. A Jr. Burger, drink, fries, and Jr. Bacon burger came out to $27. My teenage son wanted to try Five Guys for the first time. My husband and I had it when they first opened and hadn't come back. It's been for a long time. This time we had two burgers (one double bacon cheeseburger and one regular), one fries, and one drink, and the total came out to be over $40. To my surprise, the top bun was cold! I got a little cheese burger combo. The food was great especially for the price. The lady was super nice but the guys cooking not so good. They messed up my fries, I asked for well done not only that but they were limp and cold not freshly cooked. They had no problem replacing them, but I'm sure they were upset because this time they were hot and salty, I could not enjoy them. Way too much mad salt. So, if this was a year ago I would have given it 4 stars (minus 1 star for the service)... but after todays food experience, I feel like the quality has just gone down hill. I've always gotten the BLT. It's always piled high with bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. This time with our carry out order.... it was awful. There was barely any mayo, a few shreds of lettuce (which was all yellow and brown aka spoiling)... then instead of strips of bacon, it looks like I got the burnt crumbles of the bottom of the barrel that they had left over instead of taking the time to make some new ones. On top of all of that.... the fries were soggy and cold. PLEASE bring back the old quality of this place.... cause this is just SAD - especially for the price you're paying at this place. read more

The fries are all overcooked and the only things that they have it is the nuts that is normally not for them for sure and it sandwich was very bad. Delicious as always! Never have any issues here and their burgers are top notch. I love the softness of the bun and how everything just melts together. Al thought their fries are cooked in peanut oil, I eat them regardless of my allergy. It doesn't affect me too much and the flavor of the Cajun fries are perfect! I normally go for the little cheeseburger all the way and my bf does the same but a regular cheeseburger (both without tomato). Service here is always exceptional and barely any wait, ever! The workers are great, but they are understaffed. Food is also great, but more on the expensive side. They only have two staff members cooking, doing to-go orders, and taking in person orders. This one-star review is not about the food which is always excellent. It's about what I consider a deceitful business practice concerning TIPPING. Wife and I went to Five Guys this afternoon for lunch. Placed my order with the cashier and noticed her tip jar with cash in it so I gave a $2 tip. It was only later when I looked at my receipt that I saw an entry entitled "Tip Amount" with a 10% tip listed. At no time was I advised that there would be an automatic tip added to my bill. I've been to many restaurants where you are told in advance that a tip will be automatically added for a certain sized group. I have NEVER been assessed an automatic tip like this in any restaurant without prior warning, ESPECIALLY A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT! This is an unfair and deceptive business practice and Five Guys should be ashamed. Increase the salaries of your workers, but don't fool your paying customers. read more

Just had an unbelievable experience at this place! From top to bottom it was great service. What I love about this place is that they really focus on your burger. When you go to somewhere like In-N-Out, it's just not that way. I know a lot of you love In-N-Out to the extreme, and I don't hate it whatsoever, but you can't deny that Five Guys is a better burger. Is it more expensive? Sure, I guess so. But don't you 'get what you pay for'? I love that they have one of those soda machines with dozens of options on it, I like the fries way way WAY better than In-N-Out's fries, even if they're not as good as McDonald's, and again, you're gonna get the juiciest best burger ever! I dealt with a gentleman named Andrew, who was SO kind to me and my twins and made our experience really good. To the point where one of my twins said, "that guy is such a nice guy!" He took his time explaining the answers to my inquiries regarding the menu and anyone that goes out of the their way to put a smile on my boys' face is A-OK with me!! :) there were two other people working that were also very kind to my kids. Yes, I understand that their's are a bit bigger than many of the other comparable chains, but still...
