I haven't had Five Guys in years and I finally caved because Uber Eats had a 2 for 1 special (hey! Their burgers are $15, that price is astronomical). The meat wasn't seasoned the same? I have not been to this location for a while and thought I had previously wrote a review, not so much. Five Guys is know for their overflowing bags of fries in a cup, sadly, the cups are no more, but they still overflow the fries, although seems much less than before, but still tasted very good. They have burgers, fries, hotdogs, milkshakes and sandwiches here. You have almost unlimited variations of topping you can add for free as well. I have had everything except a sandwich and all are tasty and freshly made fries delivered daily from various farms around the country. Five Guys is a favorite among fast food burger joints, I would agree, very good. The one thing that drops them down to a 4 for me is the prices, they are definitely on the premium price side for fast food, but nice for a once in awhile treat, at least for me. But they do give you unlimited shelled peanuts, that is a unique offering not given by other fast food joints. On this trip, I actually only order one large fry to snack on, with tax it was almost $11. The bag did have a good number of fries, but not nearly the amount I remember and no cup inside the bag, so they can get a bit greasy in the paper bags they are in now. They were always a bag that caught the extra, but the majority stayed in the cup, maybe just the nostalgia of the cup, but felt different. The staff as always are super friendly, introduce themselves by name as well as anyone serving the food and want you to reach out direct to them for anything you need, which is nice service and makes the experience a good one. Don't come here if you want your food made correctly! They'll miss toppings and add toppings you didn't ask for nor want! Ordered takeout, I get home to find my food wrong. When I called I was met with rude employees blaming "a busy moment" for my wrong food. Restaurant was closed by the time I got home so I couldn't go back to get the correct food. My teenage son wanted to try Five Guys for the first time. My husband and I had it when they first opened and hadn't come back. It's been for a long time. This time we had two burgers (one double bacon cheeseburger and one regular), one fries, and one drink, and the total came out to be over $40. To my surprise, the top bun was cold! They messed up my fries, I asked for well done not only that but they were limp and cold not freshly cooked. I've always gotten the BLT. It's always piled high with bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. This time with our carry out order.... it was awful. There was barely any mayo, a few shreds of lettuce (which was all yellow and brown aka spoiling)... then instead of strips of bacon, it looks like I got the burnt crumbles of the bottom of the barrel that they had left over instead of taking the time to make some new ones. Delicious as always! Never have any issues here and their burgers are top notch. I love the softness of the bun and how everything just melts together. Al thought their fries are cooked in peanut oil, I eat them regardless of my allergy. It doesn't affect me too much and the flavor of the Cajun fries are perfect! I normally go for the little cheeseburger all the way and my bf does the same but a regular cheeseburger (both without tomato). Service here is always exceptional and barely any wait, ever! The food was very bad. The meat is completely changed which I'm not sure is that the middle or no but it taste horrible. The fries are all overcooked and the only things that they have it is the nuts that is normally not for them for sure and it sandwich was very bad. The price was too high the order for two adults and just one kid and it's gonna be $70, and the drink machine is not completely working of the drinks are not available so I don't recommend to anybody Service was not bad and there is no people in the restaurant. This one-star review is not about the food which is always excellent. It's about what I consider a deceitful business practice concerning TIPPING. Wife and I went to Five Guys this afternoon for lunch. Placed my order with the cashier and noticed her tip jar with cash in it so I gave a $2 tip. It was only later when I looked at my receipt that I saw an entry entitled "Tip Amount" with a 10% tip listed. At no time was I advised that there would be an automatic tip added to my bill. I've been to many restaurants where you are told in advance that a tip will be automatically added for a certain sized group. I have NEVER been assessed an automatic tip like this in any restaurant without prior warning, ESPECIALLY A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT! This is an unfair and deceptive business practice and Five Guys should be ashamed. Increase the salaries of your workers, but don't fool your paying customers. read more
