You got the mall chain, the imported-from-Philly chain (my fave), and the indie complex, where Jawny's and a handful of other developing entities reside. LA loves a good hot, chopped sandwich and businesses will continue to showcase their take on the east coast institution. Even fast service megas, like Jack in the Crack and Arby's, are making sure they can ride the cheesesteak wave. Did Jawny's keep up with my favorite? Not so much. Not with the classic. I'm not even sure what was so proprietary about the house made Wiz. And the overall value made the original steak feel like more of a hyped, boutique version of the cheesteak. It just wasn't substance-forward. But this restaurant will technically be more accessible than the carwash pop-up was, and that counts in my hemisphere. To be honest, I see myself ordering their wings more often, as a closer alternative to Wingstop. Ultimately, Jawny's is middle of the road for me. Lastly, got the Hainan chicken. A bit disappointing by the quantity for the price ($14), but the rice tasted good. I'd personally stick with the shrimp or fish sauce wings. The best part of this place are their fried bananas. I like to get the whole piece and eat it at the end with my refreshing calamansi coco drink. Crispy and fun on the inside because the banana is melted along the exterior hard shell. I recommend the whole fried banana instead of the pieces. Overall, a bit pricey but worth the experience.

What kind of meat you want I had Carne Asada Tacos and they had 3 different types of hot sauces, from A mild to a hot. $3.75 each Taco Bell. Well worth it. A must try. No over head no rent to pay. There's many taco spots in San Fernando Valley, but this is ranked pretty high up there however they didn't have any chairs or tables for you to sit down but you're able to sit in your car park in front of it.
