I have been hearing about Jawny's for a while and finally got the chance to try it since they…read moreopened their first brick and mortar right next to my barbershop. We ordered the LA Spicy Philly and it did not disappoint. Genuinely one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've had, the flavor was phenomenal from start to finish. And the best part? I personally confirmed with the owners over the phone that their cheesesteak is halal, which means the whole family can enjoy it together. That's huge. If you're in Sherman Oaks or anywhere nearby, you need to try this place. Food: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 (only because they're super busy right now, which honestly is a good sign!) If this review helped, a thumbs up means a lot

Stopped by on opening day - to a mostly smooth brick and mortar operation kicking off. Went with…read morethe classic Philly, with the house made Wiz. I made it a combo and also ordered the hot lemon pepper wings. Wasn't mad about my food. It kept my tastebuds occupied for the England v France bronze game. The portions, for what I paid...I'll accept. The cheesesteak landscape in LA is still a small neighborhood. You got the mall chain, the imported-from-Philly chain (my fave), and the indie complex, where Jawny's and a handful of other developing entities reside. LA loves a good hot, chopped sandwich and businesses will continue to showcase their take on the east coast institution. Even fast service megas, like Jack in the Crack and Arby's, are making sure they can ride the cheesesteak wave. Did Jawny's keep up with my favorite? Not so much. Not with the classic. I'm not even sure what was so proprietary about the house made Wiz. And the overall value made the original steak feel like more of a hyped, boutique version of the cheesteak. It just wasn't substance-forward. But this restaurant will technically be more accessible than the carwash pop-up was, and that counts in my hemisphere. To be honest, I see myself ordering their wings more often, as a closer alternative to Wingstop. Ultimately, Jawny's is middle of the road for me. Seems it'll be passible food that I can stand to pay for some of the time. But congratulations on a place to call your own, y'all! That much, for sure, deserves a salute.

This vendor Angels Tijuana tacos they're located on the corner of Mason and Devonshire in the city of Chatsworth border. So what was so unique about this taco stand was that the line starts from the right when the first person that you come in contact with is someone who's making the flower tortillas made to order then depending on what kind of meat you want on your tacos, it's moved down the line and you tell the person making the tacos. What kind of meat you want I had Carne Asada Tacos and they had 3 different types of hot sauces, from A mild to a hot. $3.75 each Taco Bell. Well worth it. A must try. No over head no rent to pay. There's many taco spots in San Fernando Valley, but this is ranked pretty high up there however they didn't have any chairs or tables for you to sit down but you're able to sit in your car park in front of it. It's in the parking lot of the Vons market, but I do have to say these three employees did a fantastic job and moving the line through.

We love discovering new vendors, and we already have a few go-to favorites. Right next to the food trucks is a small farmers market too, which is a great bonus. They have a really nice selection of fresh fruits and different vendors selling all kinds of unique items. Overall, it's a perfect little community activity -- great food, relaxed vibe, and a fun way to support local small businesses and vendors. We always enjoy coming here!
