I thought I was lactose intolerant ....turns out I just need good quality dairy to enjoy my ice cream! Now, it's different for everyone I'm sure by it's worth a try. Now if anyone has heard of heavy handed burger -- sure it's tasty and the ice cream is good but it's also on a busy street and parking is terrible in Studio City. Come to Granada hills where it's a local joint, parking in the lot and the street are plentiful and it's just a better calmer experience especially if you have kids. Oh and seven better -- they have a drive thru! When your kid falls asleep in the car and you don't want to take them out, you now have a healthier option for take out! J DRIVE THRU GIVES IT EXTRA POINTS! Ambiance: casual diner-esque. Love chill atmosphere. Seating: seat yourself! Bar style or booth Service: very kind and welcoming. Love the neighborly feel of this place. Parking: free in the lot and on the surrounding streets. Food: Goldburger: double patty smash burger with garlic aoili ... With grilled onions and pickles..it's a.grest bite with crisp pickles. CURLY FRIES Are so good. I don't know if they're fried in tallow. Shake: cookies and cream - Strauss creamery base makes a difference here! Ice cream: Swirl: I love that it's in a sugar cone and not the generic cake cone. I also like the vanilla chocolate flavor..it has a better chocolate flavor than heavy handed in my opinion. It's worth checking out if your in the cute old Granada hills area.

My usual is a single goldburger, and sharing curly fries with my husband. They recently started selling onion rings (may be limited time), and they are phenomenal. Their ice cream is great too, and the highlight for my daughter.

My fav is double smash with grilled onions, my husband loves the jalapeño smash and kids get it with light sauce and no pickles. PS they do cheese fries for the kiddos too. Even though it's an outdoor vendor, it's always clean and well-run. We've never had a single issue, which says a lot with how often we come. The guys working there don't speak a lot of English but it's not hard to order burgers. Reliable, consistently delicious, and definitely a neighborhood favorite.

It was the most awkward ordering experience I've ever had. He was more focused on watching his World Cup game than tending to a customer properly. Now the food: Burger : honestly was mid. Flavors okay, doesn't put enough sauce. The size of the burger is already small and there asking $11. Fries: Flavorless, no seasoning, straight bland. Even burned them, probably because he was watching the World Cup game. Drink: Diet Coke was probably the only thing that was on point. Solid temperature. If it wasn't for the Diet Coke this would be a 0 star review. Honestly Diet Coke carried this meal. The guy working needs to be studied. Thanks for reading my review. All these 5 star reviews must be your average McDonald's eaters.

The drinks looked good but I decided to save some calories and just had a glass of water. For food I started with clam chowder. I'm thinking it was a special since it was on a piece of paper on the table. It came in a bread bowl...it had lots or clams, bacon and potatoes. It was delicious. It could have been a meal with a small salad. So for my entree I had the lobster Mac and cheese. It was good as a well. Ooey gooey and seasoned nicely. I was almost full from the chowder so only at about 1/3 of it but would definitely recommend. It was my first time coming here and I'd definitely return.

The service- Started off really well where the waiter/manager came over and was very friendly and helpful. The problem was that after him there were a couple of female servers who were not unfriendly, but you could definitely get the vibe off them that they did not want to be there. The Food- Had the Truffle Burger that was pretty good but I thought for $18 that it should either be bigger or come with fries. Parking- Plenty of parking

I had a pretty frustrating experience ordering from For The Win today, which completely defeated…read morethe purpose of ordering ahead. I placed an online order through their website, and it quoted about a 25-minute prep time with a ready window around 2:56 -3:06 PM. I planned accordingly and even arrived earlier so I could pick it up fresh and avoid waiting. However, just five minutes after placing the order, I received a text saying it was already ready. That immediately raised a red flag, because if you're paying $13+ for a double burger, you expect it to be made closer to your arrival time, not immediately. When I arrived, the burger was already cold. When I brought this up, the employee I spoke with repeatedly said "it's not my fault" and pointed to someone else, instead of taking any ownership or even acknowledging the issue. It was a really poor way to handle a simple customer concern. Eventually, after some back and forth, the burger was remade, but I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. And ironically, it took longer to make it this time than it did after I placed the online order. But then now I wa stuck waiting defeating the whole purpose of ordering ahead. A manager eventually came over and was polite, but by that point the experience had already been frustrating. They also threw away the original burger instead of offering to let me keep it, which felt wasteful. On top of that, when I asked for a couple cups of water for my daughter, I was told I'd need to purchase a bottle, which felt pretty tone-deaf given the situation and didn't even think to offer me any anything for the misunderstanding and having to wait extra time now... The bigger issue here is the lack of coordination and communication. If you're going to quote customers a pickup time, especially for hot food, the order should be made accordingly--not immediately after it's placed. Otherwise, you're guaranteeing that the food won't be fresh when the customer arrives. Between the timing issue, the lack of ownership from staff, and the overall handling of the situation, this was a disappointing experience. I usually like the food, but the service and process today really need improvement.

As she entered the order, I asked what was on the cheeseburger and she recited "cheese and sauce". I again reminded her of fact I wanted extra pickles, to which she replied "oh yeah". Needless to say there were barely any pickles on the burger and when I later looked at the receipt I found no mention of my request. Poor customer service and the burger was just a nondescript smash burger. $15.80 for just the burger, including the tip which clearly was not earned.
