Ordered the tri tip and chicken plate on my lunch. I was told they'll bring it out to me to my car within 15 to 20 minutes. 20 minutes goes by I go in to check and it's sitting there on the counter. Once I get to my car to eat it IT'S LITERALLY COLD as if it was sitting there for 30 minutes. Pure blob of fat for the tri tip. Everything was just COLD. I was so dissapointed i didn't even finish my meal. Please do better stonefire. There was more then enough staff back there and food shouldn't be fridge cold as if you ordered over an hour ago and it's just sitting out. If I can give 0 stars I would. read more

If you're looking for somewhere to go for Mother's day or any holiday do not go here. Seems like none of the hosts work together and no seating system. We had 3 people come ask our name for our table reservation, all saying "okay we just put you on the list". As someone who is a server and works in the service industry, it was so unorganized. All the hosts are rude and are NOT "Happy to serve". When we finally did get a table the food runners didn't even know what they were bringing. We had to go ask for 4 of our items because they were missing the last item from our order was brought when we were leaving. When we brought the problem to the manager he didn't do anything to help us. You would assume that at least the manager might do something to fix it but no. Was not thrilled with the service at this location. Love the food and service is usually good. They were out of condiments and politely asked for them to send some over to the table. Instead of bringing some Lemons for our fish dish , they took forever trying to cut lemons for the self serve area. No common sense. Some items didn't arrive to the table And they took forever. Let the server know but there was no sense of urgency at all. Shared feedback wth manager but by this time we had already finished our meals. Manager tried to offer dessert or another piece of fish but we were full already. Staff wasn't really receptive to feedback etc. no one came by at any point to clear the table - again , food was great as usual but service was just terrible and they didn't do anything to make it better. Would have been nice for manager to either take off one of the meals from the bill or offer a free dish for a future visit. What's the point of offering me another dish after we have finished our meals? No one came by to offer to go boxes. we must have gotten up 6 times during the meal to ask for something that was missing. No thinking outside of the box here by the staff. Don't usually write a review like this but was definitely annoyed by the staff here today. Will not return to this location. Not worth being disappointed again for the good money we pay to eat here. Would have appreciated more from the manager . I don't need free stuff . But she didn't even come back to let us know she spoke to the staff about the misses this afternoon. We had a big party attend this place and the wait staff was definitely courteous and serviceable to our needs. My family and myself went there for Mother's Day in the evening and although it was a little bit too busy for my taste, the experience turned out OK . It was my son and my grandkids' first time eating Stonefire grill; we had the roasted garlic chicken and try tip dinner, a Caesar salad, A half roasted cauliflower with tahini sauce, some marinara and pesto pasta, and of course their signature breadsticks! This Stonefire Grill is located in the same center as the Pacific Theater so it was a very convenient stop for us. Ordered their "STIMULUS PACKAGE" and ended up with a heap of food that we couldn't even get halfway through. It included - Trip Tip. Ordered it medium but got well done instead. Still good though. - Mushroom and Sausage P (two-topping pizza) - the bread and sauce were so good. It's our first time ordering food here a couple of days ago for my wife's birthday. Got there at my scheduled pick up time and it was ready. Included in our order were the full slab of ribs, whole tri tip, whole chicken and a lb of salmon, both lemon & garlic, mac & cheese and the breadsticks. They were all nicely prepared and organized. They didn't disappoint. Chicken and Salmon were the tastiest and most delicious. Chicken was so tender & very juicy, the salmon was cooked perfectly. Tri tip was also good, next time i'll try the medium rare (we had the medium) & it was a little tough but still good. The ribs were a liitle tough too. They could have done better. Their bbq sauce was blended well, not too sweet & not too sour. Mac & cheese was also good. A grated cheese browned on top would have been nice. Breadsticks were ok. It's been a few years since I have been here and I must admit that this time the food just wasn't the same anymore. I called and ordered my food and it took approximately 40 minutes to to be ready which I really didn't mind, except the employee told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived home (15 minute drive) our food was somewhat cold. I ordered tri tip steak, chicken, bbq ribs, mash potatoes, Caesar salad and bread. My steak was cooked well done rather than the medium rare I asked for. The mash potatoes lacked some flavor and they only gave me 2 pieces of bread rather than the 8 pieces the employee said would come with my order. The salad did not taste fresh and had a spicy flavor to it for some reason. The chicken and the ribs were good. I expected a good execution on my phone order, it being my first, but I was so displeased with my order. Although I had ordered my food ahead of time before arriving it still took more time for it to be ready, even though it didn't look busy. Parking is a little hectic and not very convenient. I hope Stonefire Grill can step up their game and do a better job. I am willing to give them another try and hope this one bad experience did not ruin my craving for this restaurant. read more

We love Stonefire and it has been the go-to food for friends when having a potluck. Had a holiday party and ordered the Mega Feast which feeds 12 (perfect amount for my guests). In terms of the feast, the meat amount was perfect. There was just 3 chicken breasts left afterwards. About half the salad, bread sticks, Mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes were left over. So perhaps i would order differently next time. The food was very good EXCEPT the gravy for the mashed potatoes. Did someone put a load of vinegar in it by accident? It was terrible.... Since it was delivery, too late to go back and get it fixed. Just wanted to let management know. read more

Hubbers and I met up with a couple of his siblings at this joint. One of them highly recommended this place because she felt the price of the food was reasonable for the quality you get. It was surprisingly more than I anticipated. Good flavor, the chips were fresh. Took small pieces of the breadsticks to dip and *YUM!!!* Very happy with that combo. I opted for pizza (The Works!) and Hubbers got the tri-tip - which he promptly returned when served. He requested for a medium but the meat he got was cooked pretty well, nearly well-done. It didn't take long for the replacement to come through, though, and this time around, the meat was cooked almost exactly as he wanted it. I had a few bites and it was incredible. Juicy. Tender. There was just the right touch of sauce on them. I didn't even get a hint of dryness. The pizza - meh. The crust was too soft for my taste. It wasn't crispy and it didn't hold the toppings AT ALL. It was good, but not "I-GOTTA-ORDER-THIS-AGAIN!" good. I don't live around here so I'm not sure what the chances are of me coming back. But that pizza definitely needs a lot of work! Clean location and self-service for plates silverware, etc. but they bring your food to your table after you place your number card on those tall card holders. Also tried some pasta which was just alright. I'd say unless you're REALLY craving pasta, don't get it. Breadsticks are pretty good too but often a hit or miss. More than enough food for four people chowing lunch~$56 + tax = ~$66, so ~$16 per person. Staff again were friendly, breadsticks were delicious, and salad was fresh, meat was tender and juicy. Free refills. You order your food before you pick your seat (or you can be crafty and have your friend/mom choose a nice table and then go order). The last time I came in I ordered take out for the first time and there was a miscommunication causing my order to sit out for a lot longer than it should have. For whatever reason I was given a buzzer that was supposed to go off when my food was ready for pick up but it never did. Luckily, Andre checked on our order and I was later able to speak to the manager about the mistake.
