Pulled Pork Tacos
Lauren K.

The pulled pork tacos were amazing! But it was very busy at lunch time and we had to wait a while to get our food. There's also bees outside near the outside dining area that bothered us a bit while eating. We eventually found a seat but don't be surprised if it's a bit difficult/you have to wait around for a seat.

a top breakfast burrito in seattle!!! HUGE, warm, and filled with everything you love in a tortilla. great to grab as takeout and enjoy at the park :)

Pulled pork breakfast burrito

I have heard about the breakfast burrito here for forever and finally got the chance to try it! It is indeed massive and can be split amongst 2 people, or if you're really hungry I'm sure you could finish it yourself too. You order at the counter here and they give you a buzzer to grab your food when its ready. I love how they have booth indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor is especially nice on a good day. I chose the pulled pork breakfast burrito which came with a generous amount of potatoes, eggs, meat, and sauce. The tortilla was nicely crisp and held it all together well. The first bite was amazing, but I will say I think it could be a tad better with some sort of green or something. However, with their hot sauce it's perfect. Something about the flavor of that one is extra good. Highly recommend for the burrito!

I last visited OG Stone Way Cafe back on 2/21/21...wow over five years ago! I ended up revisiting SWC at its current location after stopping at a nearby artisan chocolate shop, and wanted to make use of my epic score of a parking spot (3/10/26). I had not eaten yet and tiny samples of chocolate was not going to silence my growling stomach at 230pm! I walked in and there was a sizable crowd in line and also seated throughout the cafe. Judging from the laptop crowd, there must be decent available WiFi connection. The posted menus offered a nice variety of food, beverages, and snack items. The staff were really upbeat and welcoming: from the person who rang up my order, another person who crafted my 12oz mocha, and the two folks working the kitchen line. Pretty efficient team working in tandem because the line moved in reasonable time. In addition to my 12oz mocha, I also ordered the Cuban Sandwich, which also came with a side salad. I appreciated the care given to both items - nice latte art, well composed tasty salad (fresh greens, bright vinaigrette, and sunflower seeds), and quite the mammoth, generously filled with roasted pulled pork, ham, melty Swiss cheese, pickle, and mustard. The sandwich was perfected toasted via plancha or on the flat top. Half of it, the salad, and the mocha were all on point. The other half I brought home and was devoured by The Homie. It was also deemed delicious. Glad for the spontaneous detour and revisiting this gem of a spot along Stone Way N.

Savory muffin

I think I hyped this Stoneway up too much for myself, but it was still solid! I got the butternut squash savory muffin, which was nice and buttery albeit a tad dry in the middle + it was a little bit too salty for my taste. The person I came with got a breakfast burrito which was MASSIVE, and the fillings tasted fresh and were all cooked well. Overall though, the food, while well-executed, didn't really wow me. Service was kind, and the vibe was really lively on a weekend morning - loved that there is tons of both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking wasn't too difficult to find on one of the side streets.

Breakfast burrito with sausage

I would say this is a trending place I have been saying on TikTok and I think the burritos are good. They are very big, and I would probably recommend the bacon or veggie but the sausage was a little bit too much. The Caribbean salad was fine but honestly I don't think I would get again, kind of weird tastes with sweet and savory + a heavy dressing - weird mix. However, popular place and good for families with indoor and outdoor seating.

Wow! This place is amazing! Everything on the menu looked delicious and just love the indoor/outdoor space. Staff was friendly. The food did take a pretty long time to come out, and the buzzer was malfunctioning so we weren't notified until we went and asked about it. Otherwise, 10/10!

Very spacious and busy cafe with a lot of seating options. The place was very packed with long lines but it moved quickly. I got a breakfast burrito and it was very fulfilling and fresh. I wouldn't say it was what I would expect from a popular cafe but nothing that stood out. Overall it was a good experience and I would try to give it another shot with something else on the menu.

Breakfast Enchilada Stack (rating: 2/5)
Lydia L.

We've been here several times. - The first time we visited, I ordered some random salad on the menu. It was not super fresh, didn't taste good, and overall underwhelming. My partner was not impressed by whatever he ordered either. This visit was 2/5. - Then several months later we decided to give it another try. This time my partner found out that they had vegan breakfast burrito and tried that, and I tried their meat breakfast burrito as well. It was average good. Definitely a decent burrito but flavor-wise it's no match for the breakfast burrito from Mas Cafe in the same neighborhood. I'd rate it 3.5~4/5 - Recently, we visited again for dining-in. This time I tried their breakfast enchilada stack. It was huge, and IG looked tasty? since people sitting near me asked me what it was and seemed to want to try it in the future. But I was not impressed at all... the flavor was extremely basic - just savory, which was disappointing. The sauce was way too heavy and salty even though they already put most of it on the side as I requested. The chorizo was... meh - maybe I'm just not a fan of chorizo. The texture was very mushy and kinda gross... everything just blended together... it was a huge disappointment. Worst enchilada I've ever had. Only pro was the huge portion, but if you don't enjoy the food, that's irrelevant. Rating: 1/5.

I've been meaning to go to this place for a while and I am SO glad I finally made it! The breakfast burrito was fantastic, and there were several other items on the menu I'll be back to try. Service was also excellent, they were able to make substitutions for dietary restraints without problems. Overall vibe of the restaurant was also amazing, even on a weekday! Would highly recommend!

A solid cafe with ample seating inside and outside. It was quite busy over the weekend when we dropped by for coffee. I got the Team Jacob latte which was quite good. I liked the light hint of hazelnut in it. No food this time but hopefully the next visit.

Cajun Benedict
Nikita S.

After reading great reviews about the breakfast burrito and Cajun Benedict, I decided to give this place a try. It's more of a casual, fast-food-style spot where you order and pay at the counter, pick up your food yourself, and choose any available seating both indoor and outdoor. We visited on a Sunday around 11:30 AM and the place was packed. I ordered the Cajun Benedict, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The Cajun was barely cooked and the eggs meant to be poached were completely overcooked. They were more like hard-boiled eggs, and I even had to remove the yolk. On top of that, the fries were bland and lacked any seasoning. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be coming back.

First breakfast stop in Seattle didn't disappoint! I got the breakfast sandwich, which was incredible. The potatoes were a major skip as they were so soggy for both me and my friend, but the sandwich itself was delicious. Would have loved to come back and try something else but didn't have time! The WA mural was awesome to look at, too!

I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR SO MUCH DELICIOUSNESS, FRIENDS. It's an egg and bacon breakfast sandwich, but that undersells the actual thing. The egg is soft-fried and tasty; the quantity of bacon is comparable to a hamburger patty. The bread is delightfully soft but still holds everything together, and I know not what the aioli is made of but the ingredients clearly include skill and love of the food game because it's indescribably good. Get down here and have a meal, you deserve a treat!

We walked in with my 93-year-old mom after looking at reviews. She was craving a good tuna, fish sandwich and go to the right place. Rayah (sp?) greeted us with a warm/welcoming smile and told us we came to the right place. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and showed extraordinary service by answering our many questions and checking in us. We noticed brined pickles on the menu after lunch , so we asked for a taste for next time. Omg, they taste like Britt's and bubbies mixed. They are delish too! Cannot wait to go back again!!!!! We sat outside in the shade and it was lovely. The inside had a nice vibe too but we love fresh air.

This is one of several places I've been wanting to try in the Roosevelt neighborhood, though that means parking is a doozy as is for most major neighborhoods in Seattle. When you get here, you'll see a handful of two- and four-tops along with the counter and kitchen far up the back. It's dimly lit and there's a bunch of figurines at that same back counter. I was seated with my friend immediately since there was nearly no one inside. I got their large pho with brisket, tendon and tripe all in their traditional beef broth, followed by Thai tea as I usually like to do. The broth itself was all right at best, not the freshest but generally passable. I did find myself having to add a little more hoisin sauce than what I'm used to so I could bring the flavors in more. Otherwise, the briskets, tendon and tripe all made the dish very warm and hearty despite it being a hot day most of the time. Thai tea is standard though a very welcome refresher. Service was top-notch throughout as servers would refill our water frequently and check on us. I recommend getting their large pho since it's only a dollar difference from their regular-size pho, and that's not even the only option where prices are actually really good compared to other places - other Yelp reviews corroborate that. It's really nice to know there are some great places serving Vietnamese food that isn't just in the Seattle area, and one with competitive prices for their dishes! Distance is an issue for my case but I'd still make a trip or two back here to support this mom-and-pop restaurant.
