This Starbucks location is brand spanking new, just opened a few months back. With a drive-thru window, it's the most convenient Starbucks between Fairfield and the City since you don't have to go far off the freeway to get your caffeine fix. Just exit on Magazine and you'll be right there in front of Starbucks. Say hello to my NEW least favorite Starbucks! Popped in here on a drive out to Berkeley to visit a friend. They weren't very busy inside and I was able to walk right up to the counter and order. The guy who helped me was friendly and greeted me with a warm smile, but didn't seem to know what he was doing. He also wasn't communicating with the chick who seemed to be tasked with making drinks for the drive-thru and people inside. So after he jots down my order (Passion Tea Lemonade, no sweeteners and a water) he sets down the cups on a counter and walks away without telling the chick that they're there. So I'm waiting, and watching, and she's jamming out drive-thru orders and my cup is still sitting there waiting. Finally, the guy realizes she hasn't seen it so he goes over to start making my drink himself. Just as he starts she swoops over and says "I got it" and takes the cup and pitcher from him. That's fine, I don't care who makes my drink - just as long as I get it in a timely fashion and it's correct. So she starts pouring my drink, then sets it down to do more drive-thru orders. Ugh. When she finally got to finishing my drink I'd seen her shoo the guy who took my order away at least 3 times when he tried to help her. What the heck lady? You on some kind of power trip? When she finished my Passion Tea Lemonade she put it on the counter and started to walk away before I told her I still needed the ice water I ordered. She got me my ice water, but was kinda sassy about having to. Hey, not my fault lady! I don't know if I'll be back into this spot. It is super convenient since it's literally RIGHT off the freeway, but the staff sucks. Plus, pretty sure all I got was passion tea and no lemonade in my drink. Or, she just didn't give me very much. Either way, a poor experience over all. With so many Starbucks locations, if you're already in Vallejo, skip this one. read more

My drink was fine but it was SOOOO SLOW. It took us 25 to 30 minutes, with 4 cars in front of us, to get 2 drinks. I think going inside would have been quicker. read more

I go to this particular Starbucks everyday and study, so I've gotten to know the staff very well. The group of baristas are professionals and great at what they do and specialize in the customer. The baristas are always friendly and will not blow anyone off. In fact, I think this is probably the only place that will ask you how your day went, what your plans are and make conversation with you. btw... Starbucks? Not so much. I do love the Green Tea Fraps (esp. with a lil Raspberry) but I don't go there. I only get one of those from any bucks whenever my husband makes us stop. I dont like the drivethrough here only because it's so damn cramped. I might pee on myself one of these days with the stress not to hit anything and at the same time get close enough to where I dont have to stretch the heck out to get the goods. Starbucks coffee is Starbucks coffee, unless you get a really bad barista, then most their coffee will taste the same. I usually don't drink Starbucks coffee, but when I do, it's usually an iced caramel machiatto on a hot day or a hot caramel machiatto on cold days. Today was a hot CM kinda day and the drink actually tasted like a CM. The shop itself was spacious and clean. More space than any Starbucks coffee shop I've ever seen. Call me a Starbucks creeper but I wanted to see how this Starbucks would measure up to the rest of the Starbucks' of Vallejo. Two stars because I felt that they had a very personable staff towards the regulars. However, I do not feel that the staff has enough experience. I could not let them make my drink because I really just did not want them to mess it up. I'm not going to waste close to $4 on a drink that will be sub par. They did give me alternatives to my drink but there are 5+ Starbucks' that could do the job and be competent about it. read more

I always come here through the drive-thru before work. It's close to home, near the freeway and on the way to my job!! There's usually never a line but that's probably because I work swing shift. The customer service is always great! Most of the time I get the same barista :) I've never had any problems with my drinks. Well, maybe once when they accidentally added soy (no difference in taste to me) but no biggie, as long they don't charge me extra. read more

Best Starbucks in Vallejo! Conveniently located off I80 West, so it makes my coffee stop very easy before heading to work. The morning shift staff are awesome. This is the only Starbucks that knows how to make my iced Americano with toffee nut/breve! It's such a simple drink but no other Starbucks place can get it right besides them! Best Starbucks in Vallejo, they haven't ever messed up my drink since I've been coming here for over a year now. Drive thru is very convenient some times a little long but nothing to complain about. Benicia road is a little sketchy but the highway patrol always stop by and hang out around here. When I ask for extra caramel they always actually put the extra! Hoooorayyyy! Try the Salted Caramel Mocha Frapp with 5 pumps of each syrup and extra caramel. It is by far my favorite drink ever. Try it got too! Alright I'm on my now there. Lol read more

Good Starbucks location. The team is nice for the most part. There is one associate that seems to be upset about something all the time. She rarely ever smiles and I'm concerned she may not enjoy what she does, and in my experience you sometimes gotta fake a smile for the customers. This is still a great Starbucks and one associate will not cause me to leave a scathing review. The worst part of this customers service is that I sent in a mobile order about 10 min ago and the people that had just got in line once I arrived received their coffee before me as well as 4 cars in the drive thru. Either the barista has a hearing problem but can correctly charge me on the register or I have just been lucky (but not for my tummy). For the two times that I have stopped here for my infamous "grande iced non-fat vanilla latte," they have always messed up and given me a VENTI instead of a GRANDE. You must be wondering why I'm complaining since I'm getting a little bit more but honestly, I don't need anymore caffeine!!!! Sheila, the "new" manager, has run this store consistently well for a few years now. And they *always* have non-fat milk out--a big plus!

The staff here is pretty friendly and fast. They also have a drive-thru which is a big plus if you're rushed for time. It's not in the greatest part of the neighborhood but it's right off the freeway exit/entrance. read more

It's Starbucks, meaning it's a chain and pretty much standard across the board, so reviews are based off of the staff. I'm a bit picky about my drink request...vente caramel macchiato, four ristretto shots, 1/4 of the normal amount of milk, easy on the caramel and extra ice...so if you get that right you're doing well. I'm always greeted with a smile if go inside and always helped when I go through the drive through. So thank you for your great service Vallejo SB, plus there is a really attractive guy that works there.:) read more
