I came here after picking our luggage up from the hotel nearby and wanted to grab a drink to fuel me for the hour long drive south. Dutch bros has just come to the area I live but the stores are no where near us. I had looked at the menu online so I would know what I wanted and good thing I did as the line was super long and I had to order from the person taking the orders well before I got to the menu board. I went with the OG Gummy Bear Myst which is sparkling pomegranate, passionfruit, grapefruit and watermelon. I didn't let the person taking my order know a size so I am not sure if it only comes in one size, or they just assumed that I wanted the largest but it set me back $6.50 (which I didn't even know until I got home and checked my credit card statement). The first sip was so sour all I got was grapefruit but after stirring it more it mellowed out some. I still didn't love it but it was nice to have something other than water to sip on for the drive south. I do appreciate that they have plenty of non caffeinated options as I don't drink caffeine. It was very hard to decide what to order which is a change from many other chains. I was hoping to come across another of these in my travels but sadly did not. The drive through is similar to Chick-Fil-A. There are 2 lines and one person walking car to car taking orders. You have to make sure that you keep the line order so you get the correct drink. I was told to follow a blue mazda suv and I was following a toyota rav4 or honda so I had to stop and let the mazda go before me. Overall I want to stop by and try more drinks so here's hoping one comes closer to where I live! read more

We ordered our drink through the app and chose drive thru for pickup. It was our first time at this location so we didn't know what to expect but it was a big mistake to do drive thru! The line was really busy and long. There were two employees going to each car and placing their orders. Even if you ordered online, you still need to check in with an employee. In my opinion, the drive thru is unorganized. There are two lines but it'll end up merging into one when you get closer to the pickup window. There is nobody managing the lines at the front to guide the cars so it doesn't matter who placed their orders first. What was supposed to be a quick pick up ended up over 20+ mins in the drive thru...for one drink! However, I will say that their drinks are good so I bumped up the stars. The lines are always super long and the menu is overwhelming; for the coffee drinker that enjoys hot, strong coffee, I have concluded this is not the place for me. I was already equipped with this information, but I was told they had egg nog lattes and decided to give them another try. I went online ahead of my arrival and saw they indeed have egg nog lattes. I get there and wait for 15 minutes ( possibly longer) and when it's time to place my order, I was told they no longer had them, they had been gone for 3 weeks and won't be returning. It was my first time and I drink coffee everyday and sometimes in the evening so I thought I would be able to navigate but I was wrong lol I will need a couple of tries. The staff was great! I skip the drive-thru since the line tends to be long, but walking up to order is way faster and just as easy. Parking's a breeze here with plenty of space available. This location is off the highway on the opposite side of the highway from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I've been to other Dutch Bros but never have had to wait as long as I have. Drinks are on point, service of getting my order taken care of was quick and the employee was pleasant but wait time wasn't so pleasant. Took about 25 minutes for my one drink. I've talked to others about this location and discovered they've had the same issue with wait time as well. I am here for the customer service! I'm hardly ever in Vallejo so it was my first time stopping at this location and they did NOT disappoint. I wasn't sure on what to order and the ordertaker was the absolute best. We played it safe but she was so good at helping us step out of our comfort zone with the second drink option. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and a Lemonade Tropical with poppin boba along with the chocolate chip & orange cranberry muffin top. All were delish! Now for the real kicker... This is my daughter's favorite coffee spot, and it's super convenient since it's located right next to her school. I've been coming here since it first opened, and overall it's been a smooth and organized experience except for yesterday. It seems like they've started accepting mobile orders recently, and that's where things felt a little chaotic. There's only one service window, which now has to handle in-person orders and mobile pickups. The app requires you to "check in" upon arrival, but once you do, there's no clear process for what happens next. People were just standing around, unsure of where to go or what to do. I felt bad for a mom and daughter who waited in line for a while and still hadn't gotten their drinks, even though we had placed a mobile order and already picked ours up. We were there for close to 30 minutes total. Maybe a better system would be to simply call out the names or orders when drinks are ready, like how Starbucks handles mobile pickups. With just one small window and a lot going on, it's hard to hear or see what's available. Also, the "check-in" step on the app might be adding to the confusion. Streamlining the process or clearly separating mobile pickup from in-person ordering could really help. I know this was a bit of a long rant, but hopefully it's helpful feedback. We love this place, it just needs a bit more structure to keep things running smoothly with the new ordering options. read more

Omega was in the drive thru line taking orders in advance and when we shared we don't even know what was on the menu, she went through everything from coffees to teas to lemonades to shakes and all the different variations and flavors. She was awesome! When we got to the window, Angel and Justin were just as amazing. They were friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. They are hustling but still very nice and with smiles. They were just going with the flow of the Mexican music they were playing and just having a good time without compromising service. Great group of kids! I have given the brand quite a few tries so far. But I had to go through the really long drive thru today to support them because I am so happy that someone invested in this spot. Atmosphere - Crazy busy, probably because it is new and it was still during their soft grand opening. The hours are not even really set. Very limited parking. Not sure if the hotel/motel next door is going to share their parking with this location? Look forward to seeing how busy they will be after the grand opening. Service - Employees are still new and learning, but no problem as I am happy they are here. Price - $6, average price for a blended coffee drink. Yeah, I needed a cold pick me up for the long drive to Reno. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1992 with 671 locations in 14 states and growing. The city of Vallejo is definitely on the right track in luring in noteworthy nationwide franchises that are elevating food options for citizens of the city as over the past few years they have welcomed their own In-N-Out Burger, Crumbl, and Daikon Korean BBQ. Now with Dutch Bros franchise arriving taking over what was once a long-time abandoned fast food restaurant, they are proving once again what a burgeoning destination they have become in the eyes of the franchise world. I have to be honest, I have never enjoyed anything but a frosty beverage at Dutch Bros as they are so creamy and smooth that they are irresistible. What I also like about Dutch Bros is that the easy access of their app as you can order your drink ahead of time and they will tell you how long it would take to create and the best time to pick it up. With a recent trip to wine country I thought now would be the best time for a visit to their newest location. Being able to order ahead via the app and time my appearance for best when to pick up my drink order was why I really wanted to try this new location, as I was already driving home on Highway 29 from Napa brought up my app and determined what drink I wanted to order and how long it would take to have it created and picked up. In addition to their Seasonal Drinks, the menu at Dutch Bros has menu sections including Dutch Faves, Iced Coffee, Blended Freeze, Rebel Energy, Lemonade, Iced Tea, Chai Tea, Hot Coffee, Cocoa & Tea, Shakes, Sparkling Soda and Snacks. As always, my gaze is geared towards their Blended Drinks section of their menu as I have tried so many of these drinks at other locations including their Golden Eagle and Caramelizer that I swear they are start tasting the same. Upon this visit I ordered their medium-size Campin' Blended Freeze, which had a combination of their blended vanilla and chocolate macadamia nut mocha topped with their trademarked Soft Top and chocolate drizzle. For someone back at home, I ordered a small size Cocomo Blended Freeze, which was coconut syrup and their exclusive chocolate milk combined with their blended coffee drink. My total bill was $13.40, which was before gratuity could be added in, of which their app makes it very hard to add in an customizable amount. The good news is that when I ordered my drinks, they instantly let me know that they would be a mere ten minutes away from being ready to be picked up. So I pressed order on my app, and when I arrived at their spacious parking lot they instruct you to walk up to their window, and check in with their "broista" by providing the name on your order, and they let you know how much longer it would take. It would take too much longer as before I knew it, I was sipping on my delightful Campin' Blended Freeze, which was so billowy thanks to the Soft Top, which is remarkable that Dutch Bros even trademarked the name to make it all their own. I am so happy that this location is thriving as it is the perfect way to end the day from wine tasting or fun at Discovery Kingdom. The wait was WAAYYY too long and we had to wait 50+ minutes because we found out that our drinks were stolen by a group of teens that OBVIOUSLY knew that those weren't their drinks, but obviously they didn't care, and then we found out that one of the employees had supposedly given out our drinks to the group and when we complained, the employees also didn't care about us and made us wait for a VERY long time JUST FOR THREE FREAKING SHAKES?!
