Came in twice this week to catch up on some work. The first time it was a bit chaotic as they were getting some kind of construction work done in the store. But the second time it was normal. Staff is friendly and nice and surprisingly they have samples to try! Loved the chance to broaden my horizons from my usual drink. The store is nice and bright with subtle music playing. This is now my go to spot to get some things done! Not 5 stars due to the tables not being wiped down but otherwise it's a clean looking store! read more

I was very impressed by the service here. I was on a drive from Oakland and was craving a sbux break. Saw their sign and exited. The drive thru line was not long at all and service was great. I give this Starbucks a low rating (3 stars). The cashier is suppose to ask customers their names upon ordering. Instead every time I've walked in (this was my 3rd time/have not done the drive through), they don't; leaving customers guessing which drink is theirs plopped down on the counter by the Starbuck's workers behind that counter. While still in store waiting for a long time for one latte, I heard this somewhat disturbing public announcement ( loudly voiced by the Lead worker). "We're just here for our paychecks ladies, remember that!" All agreed. It appears this Starbucks team is not happy with their jobs. And they get tipped (though optional) too upon every sale coming in throughout their working day. My thoughts... The Store Team is only as Customer Oriented as the Management Trains them to be. If they begin treating their customers with professionalism and human dignity they deserve, then their customers will treat them the same. If an employee or employees are unhappy with their job, opt to not utilize the Great Employee Benefits granted by The Starbucks Corp, then perhaps they are in the wrong position. Not everyone is suited for high-end, demanding retail customer service; offering avenues for not only professional growth, but opportunity to explore personal growth in other areas of their life. I've been coming here for about two years and never really had a problem until recently. And this review is about upper level management and it's inability to maintain some semblance of steady business hours. Open later? Sure. Close early? Understandable. But make it CONSISTENT. 130 pm today (Wednesday) and they were closed. A sign on the door says open daily until 730, and next to it another sign that says closed. This happens all the time the last six months or so. You used to have a wonderful staff, and I can only assume treatment and compensation was so poor it forced them to leave and you haven't been able to find people to work because of a toxic environment. I'm updating my review because since my last review, my experiences have been positive so far! Probably because I do mobile order right when I'm leaving home on my way to work at around 7:20am. From my house to here, it's about 5 minutes and my mobile order has consistently been ready! Makes life so much easier to just order ahead, walk inside and have my coffee ready for on the go. The usual morning crew's customer service is good too, they have greeted me good morning every time I have came in. I usually get the iced shaken espresso with vanilla sweet cream cold foam. Some Starbucks forget the cinnamon powder on top but this crew has been paying close attention to their mobile orders. Only downside, please bring back the honey citrus mint tea. I looked two days ago and it was sold out. A few months ago it said on the app sold out. Please bring it back! This is once again my go-to Starbucks and I'm glad things have improved here! read more

I order 4 drinks via mobile app. 2 of them were Caramel ribbon crunch fraps. 1 of them with no whip. I get the drinks and they put a little whip on it. I told them and they said 'in the future you need to put no whip'. I check the other one and it said no whip, but definitely had a lot of whip. They took both drinks back to fix and then they gave me 2 with no whip. I told them 1 of them had whip. They took it back to fix and they gave it back without the crunch. I give this place a solid five stars. Not because the customer service was fabulous at the beginning, but because they really came through. After ordering my drink I stood around and watched many people get their orders. I didn't hear mine. But a drink for James sat there for awhile. After asking a couple times, we figured out James took my drink. I think he's going to be disappointed because my drink was pretty different from his vanilla latte. They happily remade my drink. So I never come here for personal reasons, but my employees love it for some odd reason. Regardless every month I come in and buy anywhere from 40 to 100 gift cards. Being that I blew tons in December I went light and got 40 gift cards this time. I first ordered coffee for 2 of my managers and when I went to pay for that no ID needed, when the manager saw me buying 40 gift cards she made sure the cashier knew the "New" policy is she needs to check my ID.....cashier looks puzzled. At this point I'm irritated but what can I expect. The employees are so into what I am doing and the manager staring at the transaction they do not tell me my drinks are up, with no names or anything on them. When I go to pay the cashier motions for me to put my card in the machine, I hand it to her with my ID and she says "Oh, thanks I forgot about the new policy".......yea ok. Cashier was great, but at this point I'm ready to go so I walk over and ask if these are my drinks and the lady says what they are and I'm like yes. I ask what happened to writing the names on the cups and calling it out and she said "Oh sorry, not sure what happened". So sad that I go to so many Starbucks to buy gift cards, i surely will never go back to this one and it sounds like there needs to be some training because this is some of the worst I have ever seen from a business. read more

Every weekend I travel from San Francisco to visit family on this side of the Bay Area. We always tend to kill 2 birds with one stone by getting gas and our morning coffee run as well. For every Sunday, I have found this group of staff so pleasing. So cheerful, helpful and so kind to each and every customer. Today especially reminded me how this community is so blessed to have this staff. With everything happening during this fall season-- PG&E power outage and local NorCal fires- this team demonstrated that they are dedicated to their business and ensuring each customer is well taken care of. I frequent this Starbucks probably 2+ times a week..my coffee order has changed, but the taste and strength of what I order is consistant. I normally go thru drivethru, but since I started using my personal cup, I actually park and walk in. The place is kept very clean & you're in/out within 3 minutes. One time my coffee took longer than most & the barista (which I think was a supervisor or manager) apologized & gave me a coupon for a free drink during my next visit. How great is that...and I didn't even complain about the wait! I'm giving it 4 stars for consistancy of my coffee, friendliness, & the knowledge of most baristas, but lacking 1 star due to the price. It fluctuates! Starbucks, please remind your cashiers that in an ICED venti, there are 3 shots, not 2 (like in the hot drinks). I normally ask for an "iced QUAD ___" but have gotten charged for two extra shots twice in the past. This last time, I questioned the cashier & he pushed that I was incorrect.....PLUS he didn't give me my 10 cents off for bringing my own cup. I ordered a grande Chestnut Praline Frap. On the fourth or fifth sip of the frap. I discovered a small piece of glass or clear plastic in my drink. I immediately threw out the drink for fear of chocking or ingesting glass/plastic. By time I discovered this we were already in our driveway so we did not return to report this to the staff. This is my go to study Starbucks! I generally come here to do my work before I head off to school. There are lots of tables and couches and the place is clean. :) There are a good amount of outlets against the walls, but I wish they had more. :P The baristas are nice and friendly. The drinks taste similar to other Starbucks so you don't have to worry about it being too bland or too sweet. This Starbucks has a drive thru which is connected to a gasoline station with subway right next store so you get a lot of interesting characters that stop in. I've never been here at night so I dunno how safe it is after 5 pm but it's a nice place during the day. As the end of the semester approaches, I will define make this spot my second home. :) read more

My job was to bring the coffee to a potluck so I figured the trusty Starbucks would be perfect. After all, I've ordered travelers from this particular location before. But Saturday particularly sucked. I ordered in person, paid, and waited a half hour. I lose my patience and ask about the coffee, and I was told it was given to someone else. I was given a refund and an apology. Sure, an apology. That makes up for wasting a half hour waiting, then the shame of showing up to a potluck/business meeting empty handed. I had no time to wait for a replacement traveler. "Sorry"? I don't think so. You give me 30 minutes of your life so I can waste it for you. With a drive-thru window, it's the most convenient Starbucks between Fairfield and the City since you don't have to go far off the freeway to get your caffeine fix. Just exit on Magazine and you'll be right there in front of Starbucks. Say hello to my NEW least favorite Starbucks! Popped in here on a drive out to Berkeley to visit a friend. They weren't very busy inside and I was able to walk right up to the counter and order. The guy who helped me was friendly and greeted me with a warm smile, but didn't seem to know what he was doing. He also wasn't communicating with the chick who seemed to be tasked with making drinks for the drive-thru and people inside. So after he jots down my order (Passion Tea Lemonade, no sweeteners and a water) he sets down the cups on a counter and walks away without telling the chick that they're there. So I'm waiting, and watching, and she's jamming out drive-thru orders and my cup is still sitting there waiting. Finally, the guy realizes she hasn't seen it so he goes over to start making my drink himself. Just as he starts she swoops over and says "I got it" and takes the cup and pitcher from him. That's fine, I don't care who makes my drink - just as long as I get it in a timely fashion and it's correct. So she starts pouring my drink, then sets it down to do more drive-thru orders. Ugh. When she finally got to finishing my drink I'd seen her shoo the guy who took my order away at least 3 times when he tried to help her. What the heck lady? You on some kind of power trip? When she finished my Passion Tea Lemonade she put it on the counter and started to walk away before I told her I still needed the ice water I ordered. She got me my ice water, but was kinda sassy about having to. Hey, not my fault lady! I don't know if I'll be back into this spot. It is super convenient since it's literally RIGHT off the freeway, but the staff sucks. Plus, pretty sure all I got was passion tea and no lemonade in my drink. Or, she just didn't give me very much. I typically go to a drive-thru Starbucks on my way to school. I noticed the sign from the freeway, so it immediately caught my eye. The wait time was like a 2 minute wait. Which is awesome compared to other locations I've been too ! However, it made sense once I got to taste my coffee. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk.
