Peet's Coffee is consistently a pleasure to visit. The service is truly impeccable, and the staff are incredibly friendly--welcoming, attentive, and always happy to make your day a little better. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The store itself attracts mostly respectful, easygoing customers, which makes it a comfortable and enjoyable place to spend time. Of course, like anywhere, there are occasionally a few entitled folks--but they're the rare exception, not the rule. One note of feedback: the new pastries don't quite land. Many are doughy, and the cakes tend to be dry--not the best corporate move, and hopefully something that gets reconsidered. All in all, Peet's is a perfect spot to meet friends, relax, and enjoy great coffee in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend. read more

This was the first time we have been to this location. I really enjoy Peet's coffee so when I have time to stop at one, I do. When we walked in we were greeted immediately. The person who helped us was very friendly and gave us lots of feedback about different drinks. We both ended up with my usual black and white and I wanted to try the apple danish. We stopped here while visiting family for some snacks. I was a little surprised at the quality of the pastries at this store compared to my local store. They were smaller, and they did not taste fresh. I guess they get their pastries from local shops rather than getting prepackaged stuff from corporate as other coffee shops do so that's good I guess. Going to Peet's is my ultimate mid day treat! I have the same drink almost always , Large, Iced Caramel Latte Extra Shot, Extra Foam. I order my drink almost 90% online. Mostly for convenience. The other 10% I go in to order my monthly bag of fresh ground beans and get the complimentary tea for whichever lucky kiddo is with me that day. I can say I go to Peet's over Starbucks because I Love Coffee. I love coffee for the taste, smell, and aromatic pleasure it brings to my senses. I also love that this particular Peet's has talented workers who do care to make a Latte and not a macchiato (which is a very common mistake). A macchiato is layered and comes with almost the entirely same ingredients; however! A latte is crafted and all the elements are made into one creating a Latte and if done right is a completely different tasting drink than a macchiato. SARAH at this location makes the best LATTE! The right consistency and craft in the same sip every time! I appreciate the staff and for the most part are attentive. It is a clean establishment and the up keep the outside patios are acceptable to the surroundings businesses. In and Out are across the parking lot making this a great stop for families (mom gets coffee, kids get burgers!). The parking is tight but I have always been able to secure a spot. Homeless on the corner are minimal and never any harm or bother some. They keep the condiments stocked and usually have a good selection of pastries available. 3.5 stars. Stopped by Peet's for my Black Tie. Black Tie: Layered sweetened condensed milk, Cold Brew iced coffee, chicory infused simple syrup, and a float of half and half cream. Strong coffee taste, but with the sweetness of condensed milk. I liked this because it reminds me of a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I can't put my finger on it, but this location was weird. The employees aren't friendly and I don't hold that against them because standing up jobs suck, but although they weren't mean, I felt a bit of hostility boiling just underneath the surface with every employee interaction I had. It felt like the coffee place you'd find in that community in the movie Vivarium- it seems nice enough, but stay long enough and you'll die there. The place was also not messy, but dirty. There was nothing on the floor, but there were smears and crumbs on all the table tops. I sat at a table near the window at the corner and a couple of ladies were talking about really private stuff and they didn't seem to mind that I was like a foot away from one of them, possibly listening (I wasn't because I had my earbuds in) but the little I heard before I put my earbuds in I felt should have been spoken in hushed tones). Then as I sat in the warmth of the sun, I watched a tiny spider make a web between my laptop, the window, and the table. What a strange visit. read more

I LOOOOVE Peet's coffee. So much better than starbs probably because they actually care about their coffee bean quality. Staff here are the friendliest! My only problem is that with a high volume of turn over the drinks are inconsistent. Sometimes I get the best drink ever and then other times its awful. I think there needs to be more consistent training of the baristas running the bar. Ambiance is standard be prepared to have a lot of families in there just chilling waiting for their kids at the karate place next door. I'm a fan of Peet's coffee but there aren't as many around the bay as there are many Starbucks. I love their phone app and how you can do a mobile order and how easy pick up is. At this particular store there is a table where they place the ready orders so you don't have to wait for the barrista to hand you your items if it's already ready. I put my order in on my way to Sacramento from Vallejo and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Parking is a little tight as it is very busy located next to In N Out and Petco. I wanted to try their Golden Latte-- Espresso with turmeric, ginger, and honey. It's definitely on the sweet side. If you like ginger then this may be a drink for you, the ginger and turmeric is very strong but I felt like I tasted more ginger. I would compare it to like a ginger/spicy chai tea. I would want to try the Golden Tea which doesn't have espresso but tea instead. I also ordered an egg white frittata which was pretty good. It had egg whites, spinach, cheese, and tomato. 1st time here! 2/3 of the people working there were so nice. Friendly, coffee was great! When I mentioned maybe my sandwich was forgot they quickly got it out to me and gave me a free sweet! Very nice. But that 3rd guy. He was so over the top rude. Seriously when it was my turn to order, he just looked at me and I said hi and he rolled his eyes! So first things first I have to say this is my son's and my spot on Sunday mornings. We usually get up nice and early to secure an everything plant based sandwich. We also both enjoy the cold brew oat latte. I love the staff here. Everyone is so nice and friendly and almost always hold a conversation. The food and drinks come out quick and just as described. Now one of our favorite things is saying hi to the retirees that come in and sit and chat it makes the shop feel welcoming and community based. The inside is always clean and well lit, there is a lot of seating inside and outside, and the long table is super comfy to sit at. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because they frequently run out of plant based options for food. The cashiers and baristas are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and there is a general vibe of happiness in the air. My main reason I gave all stars is because when I called to ask if they had the 9er logo beans, they put it on hold for me. It did take me 4 calls for them to answer the phone but they saved me a bag. When I got here to pick up my hold, they said I get a discount on a drink for the purchase so I got a vanilla latte. The wait was long and I feel like places need to have employers that work for the online orders and others for the people that come in instead of just doing all the orders as it comes in on the systems computer. Anyways when my drink was finally ready I asked for a stopper and if they had a 2 holder drink because I'm unable to carry things really because I'm using 2 canes to walk....I was planning to put the 2 drink holder in my paper bag I got with the beans I had on hold and just carry the bag with my mouth but a very nice gentleman customer offered to help me carry my items to my car. (They didn't have the 2 drink holder) I would want to take off a star because none of the workers offered to help but it is my problem that I can't walk so I come up with a solution for myself but the very sweet gentleman did not want me walking like a dog holding things in my mouth he came to my rescue. So no stars off because they bring in kind customers that are willing to offer assistance to people in need. I could have done it myself by looking a little off but the nice man helped me out. But they suffer the same laziness that vacaville PCT has. 50% chance their cold brew isnt made with baridi or was cut with something else. Not signature flavor which i love. They run out of cookies. Great drinks, I'm officially addicted to the Black tie. Iced coffee with condensed milk at the bottom...not so different from Vietnamese coffee but still great to have as a treat. Sometimes when you're over making your own coffee (playing a very bad barista) and needing some variety, this is a good option. Coffee is good, some baristas make it better than others. The reason I'm writing this review is because I often come here and it's only ever a problem when there is this one male on shift. Not sure if his name but he's whom I most frequently see. young with dark curly hair. Everytime I hear this man speak it's always off putting, he has made my close friend extremely uncomfortable. I've watched how he speaks to females and it triggers me. I shouldn't have to listen to the out of pocket small talk that drives my anxiety through the roof whenever I want a coffee. Not going into detail because honestly it's just so many small incidents that make me hesitant of ordering here. As much as I really love Peet's coffee, this was particular place closest to my house is such disappointment. They messed up my orders twice and their service is very slow both order online as well as walk in. I waited 15 minutes for my order and realized my order online did not go through as I checked, there are several steps to place an order. Their order app is not an easy way to order to say the least. I wanted to try a new coffee shop since I ran out of coffee at home and I'm over Starbucks. I tried the iced caramel macchiato, it was pretty good. the only thing I didn't like is that they charge extra for milk substitute (too bad for lactose intolerant people like me) after my drink came up to be almost 7 dollars they still got it wrong. I asked for no iced because I was taking it to work and didn't want it to get water down, my husband picked it up and they put ice on it.
