Hit or miss. Had used the drive thru service before. Great customer service usually during week day's early AM. But Saturdays we order inside the store, old classic way, big mistake....Today we waited 30mts for our drinks some people got their drinks before we did when they arrived after. When I brought this to the supervisor. His answer "do you want a refound so you leave now? If you don't understand that our level printings machine ia been delay its your problem." He walked away. I got frustrated cause my birthday drink offer was not working. I told them before they would just give me the drink after seeing my ID but they said I had to call customer service and mean time pay fully for my items. She got her manager involved manager said the same thing, all she did was hand me my change without even looking at me or saying anything. I have tattoos and piercings I don't know if I just intimidated her? Or she just didn't wanna interact anymore.. A "sorry about this inconvenience but Happy Birthday" would've been enough. I have always enjoyed a positive experience at this Lincoln Rd East location, where the employees have consistently shown a cordial, respectful, and attentive demeanor. However, this review is intended to provide feedback for potential improvements, specifically concerning the safe handling and management of customer orders. I did some observations, since I'm not very familiar with this location. There was a lady (customer) who handled the cups roughly, rotating them and inspecting the cups by placing her hand on the lids and rotated them inspecting for names. I was taken aback by this behavior and even more so by the employee's lack of intervention. There were approximately ten cups awaiting pickup on the counter as she walked away empty-handed. I promptly verified my order and collected the cups associated with my purchase. Due to time constraints, I did not approach the employees to share my concerns. I grabbed our cups and delivered our order to my vehicle and sanitized the lids, particularly the areas from which we would be drinking. I was appalled that a stranger was permitted to touch numerous cups without any intervention from the staff. Typically, the Lincoln Rd West location organizes mobile orders on a shelf accessible only to employees, who retrieve the orders when notified by the customer. I will not be ordering from this location (Lincoln Rd East) location of this practice is okay for the customers to touch everyone's orders on the counter area which is very troubling when understanding people carry germs and even viruses on their bare hands. read more

They are quick, the service is great. The only confounding variable is that anything that goes through the toaster comes out tasting strongly of ham. Ham danish, ham blueberry muffin, you name it. So if you're getting a pastry- skip the warming oven unless you really love ham. read more

Don't expect to get any work done here, they have all of the outlets covered. The explanation given was they don't want homeless people coming in and staying all day to charge their phones. This use to be my favorite location but after today I will never come back. I am convinced the cashier SPIT in my drink. I asked and paid for extra carmel and when I saw the drink I asked very politely if that was the amount of extra carmel. The cashier said no and handed it to a barista who fixed it. Ok, no harm. Then the cashier takes my drink to where I can't see her multiple times. One of the other baristas looks at her with a wow look then starts laughing and says, "I didn't see nothing." I come here everyday and I love seeing how happy the employees are. The manager does such a great job encouraging her staff. The store is always clean and the customers always happy. The little things they do, greetings with regulars, asking about their mornings and for me the checking in when I haven't ordered at my usual time (haha) and this most recent encounter- I ordered a tall cold brew with extra ice as usual and they surprised me with a venti. Shout out to this Starbucks for providing not only excellent customer service but demonstrating an act of kindness. This whole thing started with my own human error. I ordered a mobile order at my usual spot during my break. I was working at home at the time.. I arrived at this Starbucks as usual to pick up my order. I avoid the drive thru like the plague it is when a see cars protruding into the street. So I park and head to the store. A sign is posted to call for pick up. I call. A Starbucks employee said that my ordered likely was routed to another store. I was surprised because I was able to order at this store. I was little upset but I stayed calm because I understood that there's been a shortage of staff at many restaurants. The employee told me to check my app on which store it rerouted my order. I agreed and we hung up. When I check my app, my order was not rerouted. I call again and explain. The same employee said she'll check if my order went through here and to meet her at the front of the store. We met at the front. She said my order wasn't here. She invited me to come in and to check my app. I showed her my app and she said that was different Starbucks. I felt so dumb. I couldn't believe that I mistaken the Starbucks listed as this one. She said that Starbucks was across that way. I was flustered because during my break. I didn't feel I had enough time to go to another Starbucks. I asked her if I can cancel my order. She said no, but offered to prepare my order there. I was amazed that she offered and how quick she was to come up with the idea.  I told her what I ordered and she prepared the items. I thanked her and apologized. She was cool about the whole thing. The employee knew that my order could not have been ordered here since they turned off their online orders. I told her I wasn't thinking and was used to coming here after I make an order. What I appreciate about this incident is that we were both calm about the whole thing. Initially, I was upset at the store and assumed it was their mistake, but I didn't want to be angry because I've worked in customer service before and it doesn't feel great when a customer yells and is unreasonable. Things are different because of the pandemic. There's a staffing shortage almost every where. This Starbucks employee, whom I think is the manager, stayed calm and didn't make me feel bad. I was overcome by her chill attitude and fast thinking that I didn't express a lot of gratitude. I said thank you once, but usually in instances like this I give much praise. My lesson is to know my Starbucks locations and make sure to know where I place my order. This is a reminder that were all human and being kind and respectful to one another is important no matter the situation or with whom. If you read this far, thank you for your time. Come here a lot for my ice coffees, frapps, macchiatos, espressos, etc. Usually use the drive thru, most of the time I get a nice professional worker, but once in awhile there will be an immature worker and it always happens to be a girl that's immature. QUICK AND EASY WITH DRIVE-THRU SERVICE! I just got out of my niece graduation party and lots of "carbs" were consummed - and just happened to drop off my best friend who lives in V-town - and finding this Starbucks right off the highway was a GOD send! It sure took care of my yawning - and I perked up in matter of minutes. Service for me the last several times I was here have been great. I order - and off I go. Everyone treated me with kindness including the guys outside that panhandles! I do like the way they designed this store. To your right are plenty of chairs and tables and loveseat to boot! At the very far end is where you order. Oh I almost forgot they have a drive thru! I haven't used it but will do if I have to. A neat convenience especially going to work in the morning. Their hours are from 4:30AM - 10PM and they are open until 11PM on Fri & Sat. There are ample parking here. You can even get gas and order your "Mckeedies" right next door if you have to since it's only a "jump, hop and skip!" The only drawback I would say is if you are headed West bound on I-80 as you will need to make a 360 for a few blocks before you can get back on the highway. If you are headed East bound on I-80 - it's just a turn to your right! All in all, it was a pleasant experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff. read more

This particular Starbucks closed their in door cafe for a day that they made everyone go drive thru. Their drive thru set up is terrible, considering they're connected to a gas station. I waited longer than I had to to get a drink I preordered 15mins ahead and took 30mins to pick up. They should have turned off inside pick up option if they were closing the cafe down for a day or a few hours. read more

She was waiting and minding her own business when two men came in the store, pretended to use the restroom and one of them later grabbed her purse and ran to a waiting car. Apparently any one of us in the store could have been a target. When the cops arrived, I overheard that this type of thing has happened before here...laptops, phones and other valuables have been stolen in broad daylight. There has been a long standing tradition in my family to stop at this Starbucks on the way from the Bay up to Davis. I've never had any issues with this spot! I've done the drive thru, I've ordered ahead on my phone, and I've just stood in line. It's always clean, there's a clean and accessible bathroom, and the drinks don't take too long. My number one Starbucks store. JJ and the crew are the best people. Very, very professional, caring and every drink is made of quality. I also have to preface that I do not drink dairy based drinks so all my drinks are with almond milk or coconut milk. I usually get the triple iced grande caramel machiatto with almond milk and extra caramel. Every-time I come here it is made right and I thoroughly enjoy it. I often get, during the holidays, a Grande (either iced or hot) caramel brûlée latte with almond milk and extra caramel brulee sprinkles. I also enjoy how that is made. Its a very clean store and it is well stocked as well. There are no outlets, so don't plan on studying at this location. But there are a lot of seating and you can hold many meetings here. The bathrooms are also very lean which I appreciate it. There is a code on the doors so you have to purchase something before you can get access to the bathrooms. The condiment bar is also super clean and well stocked all the time which is a plus in my opinion.
