I always come to this Starbucks and get great customer service, but this time I left very dissatisfied. I went through the drive thru and told them my order, the lady couldn't get my order right I had to repeat myself multiple time and she wouldn't understand at all. I wanted just a regular venti coffee and she just didn't seem to understand . When I pulled up to the window Vircel had an attitude and just gave me my coffee didn't even ask me if I wanted cream and sugar or if I needed anything else. If I could give zero Stars I would I understand a lot of going on currently however when you say you closed at 7 then close at 7 I waited in line for 30 minutes I know the policy whoever is in line before they closed it will serve them however when I went to place my order before 7 they told me they were closed and had no tilt take my order I then said I would pay with Mobile Pay they wouldn't have to worry about it then she never responded I pulled up to the window they looked at me laughing and ignoring me so I called the woman I spoke with was very rude and thought it was a joke I explained myself to her and ask her to take my order she said no be closed there's nothing to do about it her attitude and her demeanor was very rude I know it's just coffee to some people but sometimes you don't know what others are going through when you sit in line for 30 minutes before the store closes you should still honor their business. Very professional staff, and good quality products. If you come here to spend any time, wear a long-sleeve shirt and long pants. In September and October there are persistent flies flying in the dining area. They will want to land on you, again and again. It's very unpleasant. Also, bring your earplugs, or your own music. This is less of a review of this Starbucks, than a review of the immediate area. I frequent this Starbucks regularly and there is a SIGNIFICANT increase in negative activity at the drivethru and in front of the business. Aggressive pan handling in the drive-thru (where there is nowhere to drive), trash, and blight are everywhere. Recently had a person out of their mind stripping and trying to pick a fight with anyone in front of the store. It appears that the management does not care as I have repeatedly told them as I go thru the drive-thru that their are problems. The blank stair of a customer service person who doesn't care and just needs the time to collect the paycheck....... Bottom line if using this place, keep your doors locked and windows rolled up in the drive-thru, and be prepared to be bothered/entertained! I don't know if it is the Dispensary next door, or the bar, or just a homeless encampment close, but regardless it has made me shift my business to a different coffee company in a safer location. read more

Serenity in Shadeville? It is so. I like this SB. Here is why: -It's busy which equates to highly experienced Baristas who create accurate coffee orders. Plus extra shots on the house? Yes, you CAN make mine a QUAD....certainly! -It's in a somewhat shady part of town so not as trendy. The offspring and I visited twice this weekend and found the comfy lounge chairs open...no problemo. -The bathrooms are in shell and are surprisingly clean. -Good interesting people watching can happen here. Today--5 of Vallejo's finest sitting around sharing some gummy worms, downing Ventis and Krispy Kremes. Must be a slow day for crime in the V.... Then there was the unwanted advance on the cute girl fromt he grimey kid. This makes your 5 buck coffee feel worth it...free entertainment. -Great reading happens here...believe it or not. And the topper is when leaving today, we stopped off at the shell store and what did I find? A case filled with fresh Mexican Bread. Yes, you read it here folks...a panderia in the gas station. Fresh sweet pan and only 99 cents. Find me here on weekends from now on.... But Shhhhh, it's a secret. Downside? Can we get more frequent Star Walks people? A chill Starbucks to relax, kickback and for those who got to get some studying done this would be the place. Plenty of seating all around. There are outlets readily available if you got to charge up the smartphones and the laptops. The baristas here make it quite pleasant. A couple of times in the not so distant past they have made a couple of mistakes on my orders but they gladly remade the drink and offered the incorrect drink if I still wanted it. That's fine by me. Other places would simply dump it out. Tell me why? Simply chill, ample seating and the usual Starbucks fare. Cool customer service. I'll come through again for sure. read more

Normally I would give this location a better rating but on my most recent visit, it was all I could do not to throw my coffee back at the drive thru attendant. They had two people working the register at drive thru, and one didn't have a headset apparently. When I placed my order(s) I asked for two separate orders, and the girl with the headset said okay and then took my order. Then she accidentally still entered them as one. When I got to the window, little girl with no headset told me I had to just do one order. Girl #1 with headset said no it was her fault and stepped in to say just re-do it but that stupid girl without a headset still turned to me and told me next time if I don't specify two orders, they can't separate them later. LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT! I did specify. Anyway, I said that to her and she was like well I'm just letting you know. Super dumb. Then she handed my coffee and turned away, no thank you no nothing. Starbucks, these are the employees that ruin it for your customers. I also worked for Starbucks for 4 years, so this is super disappointing. I'll probably call the manager. read more

I just want to document the fact that it was at this rest stop that I first tried dunking fries in my ice cream. McDonald's made this happen - because I had to pee and had about four bucks to spare. When I come to Vallejo to visit family, this is my go-to Starbucks. Like Tangie A, I've had staff that ignores me. However, I've also had staff who were very friendly and helpful. It depends on who's working behind the counter, I think. I usually bring work/ school work with me so it's a big plus that it's really spacious inside. I hate this Starbucks location! It's one of those drive through starbucks, but my-oh-my I have yet to experience slower service... Now they're not speedy even if you step inside to order, but at least the wait there is acceptable. Try driving through, though, if you have 3 cars or more in front of you, and you'll be waiting for a solid 25 minutes... It must be how the place was designed inside... Clearly there's a bottleneck. Whatever, once I figured it out, I just avoided this location altogether. The older Filipino lady that works as a barista has absolutely NO customer service skills with a huge anger issue. I asked for no whip cream and she slammed the spoon, the cup and left in between service just because of that small little mistake that she made. She should seek behavioral and stress management if she displays unprofessional anger in that way. It just ruins people's rest of the day with that negative attitude. I love Starbucks, and every time I go I always get my same drink. This Starbucks made my drink perfect, but they put way too much caramel. Literally the bottom of the cup is just a layer of caramel. It's still good but I don't like drinking a gulp full of caramel. read more

Im pretty sure the drink that I got here last night is behind this food poisoning or bacterial infection that I've had since last night. I was fine until I drank a cup of Starbucks here. My symptoms are quite similar to the flu-- not fun. The caramel macchiato that I ordered was blaring with signs that whoever made it, did not care if it was good or not. It wasnt mixed-- i tasted nothing but expresso for most of the cup; and i didnt taste caramel at all. Its time for a change around here. Came in last night to get a blonde flat white, prior to 1 hour before closing, and they said that they already washed espresso machine with blonde coffee, and they won't be able to make it blonde!! After short conversation they agreed to make it. I tried my coffee after I got back on the freeway, and it was regular espresso with only two shorts. I guess I love this location because it's definitly the definition of convenient. Be it in the morning on my way to work, I can grab gas and my soy white mocha simultaneously. And if I was feeling extra adventurous, I could top that off with an egg mcmuffin. I love it when Autumn and a couple of other familiar faces are the baristas behind the machine when I order and just like this morning, my coffee and breakfast sandwich were perfect. Definitly a necessary thing on a Monday morning. Never had an issue at the McDonalds here. Actually the fries here are always fresher than the one on Springs Rd. Even though that McDeath is close to my house I avoid it at ALL COSTS! I'm so tired of this place. I stop there because of the drive thru and it's in my way to work. But the people who make drinks for the drive thru absolutely SUCK. My coffee order is very simple and I am very specific. They NEVER get it right. I like my iced coffee sweet and it's like they purposefully don't add the classic syrup even though I have had to now tell them exactly how many freakin pumps of classic I want in my coffee!!! Are they just they being stingy and trying to save their syrup or are they just dumb and don't pay attention?? The only time my coffee is correct is if I go inside and literally stand there and WATCH them make it. Literally counting the amount of pumps. I should not have to do that.
