I have gone to this location a few times and every time has been a bad experience. Today was no exception, I got 2 cold breakfast sandwiches and when I told them they remade them and again they were both cold... One of my drinks had extra caramel drizzle which you have to pay for and they didn't put it on and the lady gave attitude when she didn't read the sticker and put it on in the first place. I have always been extremely nice when bringing up my complaints at the stores and I am always met with attitude and rudeness something needs to change at that location or I will not return. I went to Starbucks this evening, as is my custom, and I chose this particular Starbucks because I wanted to check it out under the current management. I was impressed with the store itself. I used to live right next door and the relocation of the store within the same parking lot that took place is definitely It added more room in the lobby, a great amount of room behind the counter, a great updated look with the shelving in the lobby and behind the counter, great wall decor, and accessible outlets at the seating. The best part is this store did all of that without losing it's neighborhood store vibe. The pictures of pets and their names on the wall is awesome. My only complaint is the overall cleanliness of the store was poor. However, friendly and helpful baristas we're quick to clean the tables. I also appreciated the barista offering me a pour over of my favorite Verona that was unavailable at the evening hour I visited. Great baristas make a memorable experience. read more

This is the only Starbucks I'll go to in Simi. My drinks are always perfect, and the staff is so welcoming here. The drive thru also seems to be the fastest here in Simi, so that's beneficial when I'm trying to grab a quick coffee while I'm on my lunch and have limited time! read more

I love this new location, the drive thru and the staff!!! It's great to have a good Starbucks in the neighborhood. My only complaint would be for the customers that camp on the tables with their laptops taking up all the seating. After buying one drink. Brand new location in the same shopping center with the same super friendly baristas! Drive-thru option added is a plus for those busy and hectic days. Spacious interior with ample seating indoors and co-ed restrooms. Outside seating is a tad limited but then again this is a drive-thru location. A welcome expansion to this Starbucks. read more

I really like this location, always clean with a friendly staff. Never a long wait and they always get my order out quickly. However, I would say 9/10 times my drink comes out way too sweet. I always order the same thing with only 1 pump sweetener and it tastes like they put at least 4 pumps (which I think is standard?). I've never had this issue at other Starbucks locations. A little upset that my drink was half empty... I've never had this issue before. If I pay for a specific amount of oz of a drink why did I not receive that amount? Idk what the heck is going on but I've been going to this Starbucks for about two years now and recently I feel like it had gone down in quality... Usually when I come here the employees are friendly and my drinks taste great. I got food posioning a few years back and since then I've been super careful not to buy any mixed drinks. I was so sick that I honestly thought I would never return but my in-laws go three four times a week so I did start to go back here but the er nurse said to me bateria grows in the mixed drinks and alot of people get food posioning from Starbucks. Just get coffee or tea but I don't recommend mixed drinks from here at all! read more

Nice new location and layout. Has a cool vibe on the inside. But not a great customer service experience. Nothing acrimonious or anything, just a refusal to prepare a drink that Starbucks typically offers. First time I have ever been refused a drink request at a Starbucks. And this is definitely not in line with corporate policy, coming from someone who used to work at the corporate level of the company. What happened? Well, I'm typically a fan of a single cup clover. This particular store did not have the clover machine, which is totally fine. So I asked for a French roast pour over and was refused. The justification? The bag of French roast would go to waste if they prepared a single cup for me. Hard to fathom that to be true, but nevertheless, not a great experience. read more

I came here for the good reviews but this location is not safe for customers of color. If a mistake is made with your order or if you have any questions expect to be humiliated and willfully misunderstood even as you try your best to help them understand. My order was rung up incorrectly, which is fine, it happens. But the issue was after being told I'd get a full refund and not, and me explaining why I did not actually get a refund because there were still math errors being made. I even walked through the math, but was effectively told to leave the store. I was born and brought up here, but maybe because I am brown skinned the willfully lack of understanding what I was saying is somehow justified?...So here I am with a sandwich I will not eat that I still paid for, and plans to never go to a Starbucks establishment again. I felt unsafe as the cashier kept loudly escalating with other customers in the room - I was the only customer who was a person of color - when I tried explaining the issue with her behavior. I understand we are under stress but discriminatory behavior is unacceptable. I feel sick to my stomach for ever spending a dollar here and I don't even write Yelp reviews but I thought it was worth letting other people of color know. Would not recommend to BIPOC as customers. If you're white however, I'm sure you'll have an excellent experience here. read more

I rate these guys the same as Coffee Bean & Tea. Starbucks was second to Dunkin' Donuts even though most people think they were the first coffee cafe! Starbucks gave you more choices over Dunkin and 7-11 (number 4 in good coffee). That's why Starbucks became number one early on plus the cold versions sold coffee all day! Smart dudes! read more

Not very friendly and they try to rush you out like you're a panhandler. Like I just bought a drink can I sit and sip there's like still 15 min to closing time.
