When you order uber or DoorDash from here this location purposely doesn't fill the coffee cup. There is always almost 2 inches from this location. Like a form of punishment for being a mom at home with kids and just trying to be caffeinated. It's just frustrating that they don't really care. The only Starbucks on my route to work, shockingly. Luckily even at 7:30 AM, it is decently quick to get through the drive thru. The employees are decently friendly, and speak clearly. Out of the multiple times I've been to this location, they have never given me an incorrect order. Which is obviously important. A+ location for me. read more

I ordered a Trenta black ice tea. What I was served was colored water packed in ice !!! Happy staff who get things done correctly and answer questions well. The line in/out of this location can get crazy if you are there 7:45-9 am due to the private school nearby and the only road that goes to the school along with several housing developments there. This is a mediocre Starbucks. The coffee tastes okay because it's Starbucks but the service is BLAH. Good luck getting a greeting or any attention here. The staff needs to learn to HAVE FUN and ENGAGE! I ordered from here twice via the app. The first time they definitely put in too much flavor (I've had this drink many times!) and no one even acknowledged me. Seriously?! I walked in, got it, added my equal, etc- nothing. I didn't know if they'd been robbed or were sleeping back there. LAME! My usual Starbucks is on Sunset in Renton- they're outstanding! It was a bit disturbing to pull up to the window to see the drive thru girl tell the barista there's not enough espresso in the beverage because of the color of my Venti white chocolate mocha. The barista was ready to place it in the finished beverage area. The girl that was at the window told the barista to just pull another shot and pour the shot in & mix it. She didn't mix it well as you can see in the picture, the beverage was disgusting eventhough I tried to mix it. As the barista was "fixing" my drink, the girl at the window apologized and said they had to "fix" my order. I've generally had good experiences here but this was horrible! Bad experience here ordering, and reordering a drink that was insanely hot both times; paired with unkind and rude staff.

Super convenient location just off of Renton-Maple Valley Road with both a drive thru and a good amount of private lot parking and friendly, efficient employees. The interior is very open, modern, and clean and has comfortable seating throughout the store making it a good place to use the free wifi and work or just relax and enjoy your drink or snack. This location can get very busy on Sunday mornings when the Church across the street is in service so I'd recommend ordering ahead on the Starbucks app to save yourself some time! read more

A well-run Starbucks! Let's face it, all Starbucks are busy. Some more than others, sure. But the difference between a good and bad experience at any of them is the management. The way each location is run sets the precedent for what kind of experience you will have. I believe that this one is very well managed. No I don't know the manager but I wish I could thank then. Despite the fact that it's got a busy drive through, they get you your drink, get it right, are pretty darn quick, and generally very kind and friendly, while still being professional. My daughter and I go to this location at least 4x a week. We see the same staff rotate through and our drinks are fairly consistent. I've always been happy with the service. Today (4/14/24 @ 5:45pm) was a whole new experience. Ordered through the mobile app and pulled up to the drive thru about 3 minutes later. Yes, I arrived much quicker than I anticipated. When I got to the window, the guy asked what I wanted to order and I said I had a mobile order to pick up. His response was "oh, you just ordered. We'll have you park and wait at the front of the store". With no one in front of me, and no one behind me, I pulled up to the window to wait for my two drinks. He opened the window and said "go to the front of the store". Confused, I said "there is no one in front of me and no one in line, can I just wait here?" He literally told me "no" and to go to the front to wait. I drove to the front, parked, and waited for about 5 minutes while NOT ONE PERSON went through the drive thru!! Had he loosened up his arrogance and simply explained why I couldn't wait there, even with no other customers in sight, I would have had no issue doing so. He must be a float manager because I've never seen him there before and he wore that badge of control like it was something special. He was awful enough that I won't return to this location for a very long time. read more

I think I have found the world's slowest Starbucks. I have stopped here many times and a trip through the drive thru takes forever even if you are the only person in line. Today, I was hopeful that by if I stopped at 5pm I would not have to wait forever, but no, I was wrong. There were six people on the drive thru. I went inside, three people were serving the drive thru and not a one was helping walk-in customers. The guy making drinks acknowledged me, said "John will be with you" twice and looked down a hallway to see where John was, but after several minutes I just walked out. This place is hopeless. Came here 3 times now and they just can't seem get my iced coffee right. Their iced coffee is consistently bad and watered down! The second time I was there I had to ask them to redo my coffee. Their morning drive thru is on point. Efficient and quick. However, I've been here more than five times after 3pm, on average it takes 10-15 mins. The longest line I've been in is I'm 3rd in line. Usually it's just me. I really don't understand why it takes so long. Twice it was just me, I pulled up to the window, and I waited for 10 mins. The only thing I get is a tall vanilla latte. That's it. The poor lady at the window kept on apologizing, for someone back there. There was no one inside. And I heard, "was it the vanilla latte?" !?!?!? After 3pm, order thru your phone because their drive thru is slow. But definitely recommend the morning run. read more

Very disappointed with my recent interaction with the tall slim Asian barista that made my drink. I let her know it was incorrectly. Rather than receiving "I am sorry about that let me remake that for you". She rolled her eyes and started to mock me to her coworker-telling her coworker "how else are you suppose to make it". For some reason against my own past experience here we came back on the way out of town thinking it would be an easy stop for coffee for a long road trip. We guessed wrong. First they couldn't hear our order and he had to repeat it (please remember this statement) repeated more then once. We ordered a mocha frapp made with soy milk and an ultimate Carmel frapp. He got some reason had a hard time with the easy one. We finally got to the window and he again had to ask what the ultimate Carmel frapp was. We made sure the mocha was made with soy. He assured us it was. We got our drinks and on our way. He took a sip of the Carmel frapp and looked at the tag it was completely wrong. Made with coconut milk with barely and Carmel. We go back and he tells them that it's wrong. And instead of saying "we're sorry let's fix that for you" he actually said that's what we ordered and the only female behind he counter (that made the drink) said "what would you like us to do about it?" Someone who's worked customer service for more then 10 years I've never experienced that before. FYI Starbucks you fix the mistake that you made and you don't argue with the customer. And something else you should APOLOGIZE for the wrong drinks. read more
