We aren't from the area but we went through and Khloe was so kind and helpful! We got a white caramel mocha and a creamsicle redbull, both were sooo good the coffee was so creamy and delicious. And the food was great too! They were very friendly and welcoming, it was a great stop! The only kind of downside is you scan a QR code for the menu rather than it being posted to the window, but they have a QR code for while you're waiting in line so it's not last minute. Otherwise the service and product were amazing ! read more

My only gripe about this place is that it's difficult to get in and out of. Otherwise, they serve great coffee, and are quick with orders. The blended chai tea with a shot is my fave! read more

This is my favorite drive thru coffee place around! It's too bad it's in the opposite direction of work-or maybe it's a good thing (for my bank account at least!). I always enjoy their vanilla latte but they have fun coffee specials. One of my favorites was the Cadbury crème latte around Easter time! Service is fast, it's easy to get in and out of the location, and it's delicious! read more

The coffee and customer service here are unbeatable! I've been a customer for a long time and thought it's about time I let others know. People tend to always make sure to write a bad review, but often good ones go overlooked. The owner is very responsive, the baristas are wonderful and the coffee is great! read more

Barista was SUPER helpful in giving options of what we would like.. The price was amazing! My husband got a Maui Wowy & he thought it was so much better than Dutch Bros!! read more

Hands down the best coffee I've ever had. My sister introduced me to BBCC and this summer and I've been a constant customer ever since. Not only is the coffee good but I really love the owner's work ethic and dedication to her business. She readily accepts feedback and makes a genuine effort to know her customers. While I'm still groggy from waking up at 5am for work, she (and staff) help me start my day in the write direction. Love this place! read more

Literally the BEST iced white mochas around!!! They aren't centrally located by where I live but anytime I'm close I always stop. I won't drink any coffee stands coffee because the coffee isn't always great. But whatever they do to this magic cup of coffee is consistent and tastes amazing! My daughter loves their kids hot chocolates too read more

Quality coffee at a great price. Also, the baristas offer a quick and friendly service to every customer!

Got coffee there a few times as my wife and I would go on our morning walk thru the neighborhood. Staff is very friendly

Not their fault but UberEats didn't deliver my order...Otw, Theriot food looked great on their website

baristas were weirdly not friendly and didn't greet us when we pulled up, and then made a terrible drink. Will not be returning.

My all time favorite stand! AND it's less than a minute from my house - not kidding. Too many times have I been late to work or school because I had to make sure I got my fix. Being a barista I'm probably a little too picky for my own good when it comes to coffee. But I'm amazed that this place never ever disappoints me. Drinks are always tasty! I've been coming here for years, even before it was Black Bear, and the popularity has only grown! I can totally see why . The baristas are always quick to get your drink made, and always remember to punch your stamp card. No need to remind them! There is almost always a line here, but the wait is absolutely worth it, I promise you. Don't forget double punch tuesday! And check their instagram page for extra promotions! read more

I stop by as frequently as the wallet allows lol, this is such a great place to stop for a pick-me-up, all of the employees are friendly and accommodating, I always order the same thing and depending on who's working and the line my drink will already be made when I pull up to the window, my lady's favorite is the orange creamcnickle blended redbull (with smoothie base) and it always makes her day. Thank you for everything you do and gosh dang if I don't recommend your company to people, I hope it's striving. And I want to give your employees a shout-out because they never disappoint, if the blender is going it's hard on conversations but they are still so nice, thank you. read more

I'm not gonna go in about the hand comment, because I think others have already done that for me. I used to work as a barista and you get syrups, coffee, mocha, etc. on you, and sometimes it stains. I can only imagine what my hands would look like if I kept going with my job as a barista. I digress. This stand is amazing. I've seen it a million plus times and have never thought to come in. I finally did the other day and I can finally see what I've been missing this whole time! The first three days I went, I was hooked on the Grizzly Mocha, which is a secret ingredient drink that the owner and baristas don't share with the customers. I get it with the syrups cut in half and it's BOMBBB. Today, I went and their espresso machine was down. No problem for these ladies! They offered me a menu with all of their flavored Red Bulls. I tried the Dreamsicle and it was amazzzingggg. They have TONS of other flavors though that I intend on trying on days that I go midday or I'm not feelin' coffee. Prices are fair - I'd say I spend fifty cents less or so than I would at Starbucks, but for creative drinks and amazing, genuine service, I'm already getting a better deal than I would be anywhere else. Also, start a punch card with them! After 9 you get one free. read more

The lady who made our red Bull drinks messed up on one and made the wrong one with ice. Her attitude was weird. Definitely won't be returning. read more

If your looking for great coffee , espresso go here. Always good, I usually have the white chocolate, extra

Best coffee around, terrific service, nice folks. Only "downside" is so many people love the place that I may have to wait for my coffee. Shocking!!! read more

Really good coffee, and really good customer service. You can taste the freshness of the coffee. Ordered their vanilla latte and Pumpkin Spice Chai. Located in a nice location! read more

This place is great! The coffee is always on point and they have a wide variety of sugar-free options, which is a must for me. The staff is very friendly and my dog loves that they give him treats. I'm happy to have found this place, especially cause it is conveniently located near my home. read more

I haven't been to starbucks or bigfoot java for few weeks now. I'm on a roll trying different coffee joints and it's really satisfying to my tastebuds lol. I have been driving past this coffee stand for the longest time and today, I finally decided to give it a try. Amazing coffee!! I ordered the usual, iced white mocha with extra shot plus breve. First sip woke my sleeping soul up. HAHAHA! Okay, I exaggerated a lil too much. Lol I cannot believe I drive by this stand almost everyday & I have been missing out on one of the best coffee in the area!! Barista was very nice & sweet!! I appreciate good lil talks while my coffee's being made. Lol They also offer punch cards. After 9 drinks you get the 10th one for free. If you go on a tuesday, you get double punches|!! read more

Sierra is amazing!!!! She recommended the blackberry cobbler redbull today and it was sensational!! 1000000000000/10

Love love love this place! They never mess up my raspberry, mango w/ a splash of OJ Red Bull! Everyone here is really friendly too. Whenever I am visiting my moms house I stop here. Took away 1 star because they can't warm the bagels up like whyyy no one likes a cold bagel! read more

I have a pet peeve. Well...I have a small book of pet peeves, but some of mine are more strongly present then others. Hands. Dirty hands. Nails. Dirty nails. I once recently had a college/hs student "saleswoman" come to my door selling me magazines, and books. Ok cool. Friendly enough. And then....I saw them..her hands. Dirty. Yellowed nails, chipping, half long, half crooked short, crumbled dirt smoothly rooted under her nails. I was a loss for words. I literally was being nice, maybe even going to buy, but then had to suddenly go because my "oven was going off"....UGH. Look, if you can't take care of the way you present yourself, how can you make that sale? You will not be taken seriously. So that was bad enough of an experience at my door, not even serving food or drink. Now here I am, saw pretty good reviews for this place, I already mindlessly past my fav coffee joint on my way home from grocery shopping, so I yelped and found this coffee drive thru. I was hesitant immediately, as it's not quite pretty looking. It looked like a almost demolished trailer with no signage, or color, or even a flower pot, or neon sign, or anything for that matter that would make it look like a working business. I should have turned around right then, but I saw a biker waiting for his coffee in the window, so I thought, I'm here, let's try it Anyways. The girl working the window was friendly enough, well did her job anyways, and was pleasant about it. No chit chat or smile though. Just straight to business. Maybe the biker was her friend or something cuz I felt a lil rushed. I ordered my simple iced mocha, and that's when I saw it. Her hands. This sounds so mean, I'm not trying to be mean. But come on....I don't care who you are. Wash your hands. Take a moment and scrub under your nails with soap. It won't take more then 30 seconds. It's wrong in any situation, but you are serving food and drinks that I put in my mouth. It's disgusting. She had smears of white, probably w chocolate, dark brown smears and spots all over (prob ground coffee bean), and her nails looked like she was digging in the garden all day. But it didn't look fresh, it was caked around her cuticles and looked like it had been there overnight. Discolored and stained. Why?!?! Please, as a paying customer, tell me to wait a sec and take care of that. Please. I will thank you!! The coffee was bad too. Or just poorly done. Again, I don't want to sound mean, but come on...it's simple hygiene. It goes a long way. Btw, 3 five stars reviews they have. ??? Shady biz. read more

Absolutely love the place. We go there literally everyday and the service and coffee is great. We always have 2 Soy Latte's + Black Bear Tea "when the kids not on campus" . Thanks for being awesome read more

As a current barista, I have a really hard time finding the perfect latte near home. I love frequenting here and my drinks are always consistent, which is truly hard to find in the Fairwood area. They serve Cafe D'arte (common in the area for small stands) and I am never disappointed or feeling like I'm not getting my money's worth. The milk always tastes fresh (never like it's been steamed 17 times before me), espresso shots consistently amazing, and service is always speedy and friendly. Christmas morning I came through with a 12 drink order and the girls handled it like pros; quick and calm!! Not to mention every drink was perfect! I never mind waiting in line when coffee is so consistently good and the baristas are fabulous! read more

Really good! I really actually liked the drinks. I went with my friends and we all got different drinks. I got a red bull sunset, and my friends got different mochas. The drinks are definitely a 10! We all enjoyed them, and very fairly priced! read more

Poor customer service!!! I went to Black Bear Coffee in Renton last Tuesday, 2-1-2022. This was my 5th time going there and I liked the coffee and its around the corner from me. During the 4 visits, I noticed that each barista had a different price for the same size drink. I shrugged it off because it was $0.20 difference. Well, the 5th had a different outcome. Her name is Meh. Caucasian woman with brown/blonde hair in her mid 20s. Drink was good but I noticed an extra $1.03 charge on my card. I called the number on the receipt 4 times during normal business hours and leaving 4 messages to call me back with my concern. I am still waiting to hear back from someone. I have stopped going there and found another coffee stand to go to that has better customer service and hire honest people who doesnt steal from their customers. read more

This coffee stand is great! It's been a diamond in the rough so to speak because it's hard to find GOOD coffee stands in the Benson Hill area near the Kent/Renton border. Otherwise, I'm pretty much stuck with Starbucks which definitely is not my first choice for coffee. I frequent this coffee stand about 2-3 times per week on average and the baristas that work here are all great. It's always about how good the coffee is and how nice the baristas are! There are stands that I won't go to anymore because the girls that make the coffee just suck. I appreciate good quality coffee with a good attitude. Also, it's always been fast! That's always appreciated on the way to work as well. read more

All about the coffee! Such a cute stand with great service. A must stop if you need some caffeine and your out and about in Renton!

Amazing people. Amazing coffee. Super friendly. The comment about her hands being dirty is pretty funny. She has been working at a coffee stand since she was 16. Coffee stains your hands. That is why it looks like her hands are dirty. Like I said before, friendly and amazing. read more

Three years ago i left the starbucks fad and havent looked back since. I love finding local coffee stands that make great coffee. This place handa down is one of the best in the area. After b only a month they no my drink order and everytime its the same. No changes per different times of the day service always the same. Bonus is im not breaking the bank when i go get my coffee. Good work ladies keep it up #supportlocal read more

I have two stars for excellent customer service. However, I couldn't drink it. I really wanted to like this place, maybe I ordered wrong for this particular place. I normally get a iced vanilla latte. But here it was way too sweet and it tasted like coffee grounds. It didn't taste fresh, it was bitter. I don't know, maybe I'll try again and update. read more

I used to get my coffee here every afternoon on my way to work. I love their coffee, the owner is such a nice person. Sadly, its no longer on my way to where I now work and I miss it so. They always treated my young son so well, too. read more

Love the coffee and the Baristas! Always friendly and fast service. Their pastries are awesome too!!!

The owner is very friendly. She seems to know lots of her customers on a first name basis as well as their regular orders, so it feels like a welcoming neighborhood coffee spot. She doesn't have a written menu yet, so you should have a drink in mind, but I'm sure that isn't a problem for Seattle area residents since they drink so much coffee. You can flavor your coffee with 40+ syrups I believe so no shortage of coffee options - seems like she will make pretty much anything you ask. One issue I had was that my Americano had more ice than I'm used to, so next time I'll tell her to add less. read more

I have an espresso machine at home and I still drive a mile from home to this stand everyday! The girls are all so friendly and the coffee is always perfect! Shala runs a fantastic business. The new partnership with Blazing Bagels just makes it that much more worth it! read more

I absolutely love Black Bear, and it's owner, Shala. She is a true professional. The coffee is spot on every single time. I love that she uses high quality ingredients.
