There were chunks of something that included rhinestones blended into my frostbite. Didn't notice until around halfway when I got a big chunk in my mouth. Was told there was nothing they could do cause "none of them have nails" and we'd already left the store. Sorry I didn't strain my drink for rhinestones before I left I guess, definitely my bad for sure. Such a convenient location for on the go but such slow service makes me regret it every time before heading out to work or a long road trip

Ordered 2 green apple flavored red bulls, but a few minutes after we drove away I noticed that there were little black specs floating in both drinks. I suspect its from the ice machine not being cleaned properly. From working in restaurants I recognized it- moldy black build up can get into the ice and it looks exactly like this. Gross, we didn't drink them we threw them away. Sad cause we waited like 20 minutes for them too, and I love Bigfoot this is my go-to coffee stand :( Edit: I was hoping for a response but it's been a few days.. I've been making the drive to another coffee stand since this because I'm grossed out about the moldy ice. But Bigfoot is right by me so I'd love to be able to go there again. I'd say I've been to nearly 2 dozen BFJ locations and this is the slowest one by far. there are other BFJs along my commute but I sometimes choose this one for location convenience. This place is always a solid spot to come to when you're not in a Starbucks mood. Being from San Diego, BigFoot was a new chain to us. It's basically a drive thru coffee shack with both sides open for orders. They have a wide variety of espresso and non coffee drinks. They also have pastries on a till supplies last basis. Sometimes they even hook up any canine pals with pup cups of whipped cream or doggie treats. My only wish is that they'd come out with new flavors or combinations every now and again. They have a couple of seasonal offerings in the winter, which are usually listed on their windows, which depending on how much sun and rain we've gotten that year can make them difficult to read. Adding them to the menu board would be amazing! read more

This location just has great customer service. They always have puppaccinos ready for my grandfurs. This time around we took Milano, and boy he knew he gets treats there. He was so excited when we pulled up. Okay now for the human treats. The drinks are always delightful, refreshing, and sweet enough for this diabetic. I know I shouldn't but I splurge sometimes. I have been addicted to Starbucks, but during the pandemic, I've decided to stop going there, and go support the smaller businesses instead. Plus, BFJ has a lot of different drinks to offer. Sometimes I want chocolate, sometime I want something fruity, sometimes I want a smoothie or Italian soda, next time I'll get a hot coffee. So many possibilities. They do have snacks like muffins, cookies, etc...but I guess I just go too late when not a lot of selections are available. Although I have three Starbucks all around me within a half mile away, I don't mind driving to BFJ which is about a 15 drive or so each way. read more

Okay so - I know that maybe a drive through espresso place is not somewhere to go for your perfect cup. Today was one of the first really nice and warm spring weather days to draw me from the office to get one of my favorite summer bevs: double short DECAF iced americano with cream and honey (honey into hot espresso) then ice. If. not, the honey sits in the bottom of the cup giving you a sickly sweet end of the drink. Just like everywhere I go, I emphasized DECAF/ICED/HONEY - and watched as when it was entered into the computer. I got in the line with three cars in front of me and waited nearly 30 minutes(no joke). I had committed at this point so, oh well. I placed my order and as the barista was going to hand me my drink on this lovely afternoon - it was steaming hot. I hate creating any problems but still I said - ahh I ordered this iced. The barista took the pipping hot drink, already watered and dumped ice into it - transferred back into my mug and said 'here I fixed it'. While I should have protested that is not my nature. I was given a now, Luke warm, watered down Bev and it was bitter - so the honey was left out too!!!! It was absolutely no good - especially now I wasted a chunk of my day I would normally need to work. I had dreamed about a icy-cold, solid espresso w/water balanced by honey. What I tasted was a watery, bitter and really awful drink that I poured down the drain after a few sips. read more

Love this place and I've been a DEDICATED CUSTOMER for over 3 years! Until recently unfortunately. The graveyard lady, Sarah lacks huge costumer service skills. She's very rude. I gave her multiple chances thinking maybe she's just having a bad day but that's not the case. Like I said, I'm a faithful customer. Whenever I pull to the window, she proceeds to roll her eyes and say, " here we go with your stupid complicated drink!" And slams the window shut in my face! Barista pulled out a dirty mixing spoon that had whip cream and was sitting in what I assume was dirty water and used that spoon to mix my coffee. I had already waited so long in line I just took the drink and threw it away. Dirty nails, messy clothing, barista shaking like crazy. it's like this place has no uniform policy. Not sure if the girls name was Alma or Alicia. I asked for a hot chocolate since I'm pregnant. I can't drink caffeine it really messes with my stomach and gives me bad anxiety. This place gave me a big mocha with espresso. I had to go back into the drive thru and explain to them I wanted a hot chocolate instead of fixing there mistake this girl charges me for a whole new drink. The girls here are fantastic! I normally swing by before my afternoon shift or late night around 11pm for a pick me up. There are two drive thru windows. Each one has a huge menu posted up before you get to the window. Tell the gal your order. She will make it delicious and as strong as you request it. They have a wide selection of flavored syrups, including sugar free options. They also offer smoothies, red bull Italian cream sodas, regular Italian cream sodas, and limited pastries. From where I worked, u make the drink like the picture unless the customer has special request. And the drinks were made the right way. Don't get me wrong. Been going to BFJ for 3 years, loved the coffee, but last month i stopped in to buy coffee for my staff and was charged for 4 drinks that i neither ordered nor received. This isn't the first time that i felt like i was overcharged, but it is the first time that i asked for a receipt for business records. I called the location on 84th in Kent and explained what happened, talked to Savannah. She said she would pass my info on to the district manager Desire and instructed me to email Desire as well, which i did, including a copy of the receipt. A week later and i hear nothing back. I call the store again and talked to Savannah again, and again was told that Desire would call me back. A week later and still nothing. I called back a third time and was told to call back at 5 pm and talk to Lina, the location manager. She took my info, asked for the receipt number, and said Desire would call me back. That was 4 days ago and still no calls back. If anyone know of a good coffee shop that has better customer service, please let me know. read more
