Since I simply got my drink and sat with my friend, I don't have anything to mention about service here. I got their No. 5 Elixir, which is a mixture of charcoal mango lemonade and a lot of mango bits. First and foremost, I'm happy that it didn't stain my teeth as I drank it, haha. But more importantly, it's sweet and tangy and was very refreshing even though weather was somewhat gloomy when I went. The young lady at the front was VERY cordial and took time to explain everything to me followed by a gentleman who also expressed that their syrups and teas are specialty made. From what I saw, most of the counter staff behave in a rude, arrogant, and disrespectful way toward customers, although there may be exceptions. Some employees may not get involved, but the overall atmosphere behind the counter feels very unpleasant. There was a situation where a person was waiting in line, just standing a little to the side, and some employees started acting like he was trying to skip the line and began confronting him for no reason. Instead of normal customer service, there was attitude, accusations, and disrespectful behavior. Another uncomfortable situation was with the language. When someone clearly understands Russian or Ukrainian but deliberately responds in English and acts like they don't understand the customer, it looks disrespectful and unprofessional. Especially when it is obvious that the person understands what is being said. Again, the café itself may be okay, but the main group working behind the counter really ruins the experience. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of what language they speak or where exactly they are standing while waiting in line. Very unpleasant experience. I hope the owners pay attention to how their employees treat customers.

She cleaned off a table for us, but then told me I needed to hurry up and order because she didn't want other people getting upset about how long it would take me to decide. I didn't respond and simply waited until we were ready to order, which only took about four minutes. What confused and upset me was that shortly after, a white man came in and she told him he could sit down, take his time, and order whenever he was ready because "it's not busy." The difference in treatment was very noticeable and honestly made me uncomfortable as an African-American woman. Maybe this was a misunderstanding, but the interaction did not sit right with me. I believe every customer should be treated with the same patience and respect, especially first-time customers who are simply trying to understand how the restaurant works. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and does better moving forward. This needs to be addressed immediately not deleted
