BEST DECISION WE COULD HAVE MADE!!! This was our first visit since Rainbow Cafe came under new ownership, and WOW, what an incredible experience! If you haven't been back since the new owners took over, YOU ARE SERIOUSLY MISSING OUT! First off, THE FOOD!!! The new menu is absolutely incredible! Everything we ordered looked amazing, the portions were generous, and the food was DELICIOUS! From the crispy chicken fried steak and golden hash browns to the fish and chips and the absolutely loaded sandwich, everything was beautifully prepared and looked just as good as it tasted! You can tell there's pride going into what's coming out of that kitchen. But what really made our experience stand out was the SERVICE! The staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was inviting, and we actually felt like valued customers. The manager even took the time to come over to our table and personally greet us! That kind of hospitality makes such a difference, especially after the experience we'd just had elsewhere. THIS is how you run a restaurant! Great food, wonderful people, excellent service, and management that actually takes the time to connect with customers. I cannot say enough good things about our experience today. What started as a frustrating lunch outing turned into an absolutely fantastic experience, and we discovered a place we'll happily be coming back to! I understand restaurants get busy, especially on a Sunday afternoon, but there is absolutely no excuse for repeatedly walking past customers and completely ignoring them. A simple "We'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. I've seen the positive reviews about the food, but unfortunately, we never even got the opportunity to try it.
