    Salmon bagel

The salmon bagel tasted very burnt and smelled off. The onions looked black (pictured) and possibly spoiled. I politely raised my concern, but the situation was handled very poorly. There was no attempt to resolve the issue -- no offer to remake/ replace it, or provide a refund. Instead, I was met with rude behavior and weird looks that made me feel uncomfortable for even bringing it up, like it was somehow my fault their food tasted bad. Very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the price.

Roasted Veggie Panini with a side salad

While traveling through Auburn with my strictly vegan friend, I searched Yelp for lunch options that would work for both of us and Zola's seemed like a good fit. She selected the Zola Bowl, which was flavorful and satisfying. I chose the Roasted Veggie Panini, which had creamy cheese, sweet roasted vegetables, and crunchy, delicious bread. We liked the food so much that we stopped there the second day and ordered the exact same items. It's a small cafe with local art and some local jewelry for sale as well. There are a few outdoor seats, which were great for a beautiful, sunny day. Order at the counter and the food will be brought out to you. It's a casual cafe where you bus your own table. I highly recommend it.

I wanted a light lunch so I decided to stop by here because I pass by it all the time. I ordered the chicken panini. The food was so bland, sauce on the side would not have helped this meal. The salad wasn't even good to me. SMH heard the coffee was good but I will not be returning. Even the service was awkward. I was not get greeted at all she was just looking at me. I will not be coming back!

I've been going to Zola's cafe for almost 6 years now. Their coffee has always been on point, and the baked goods are just awesome. I never thought to post a review until now. The current owner, Matt, introduced some changes. I only recently discovered that Matt makes some of the best soup you can get in Auburn. Or anywhere really. There's always great artwork on the walls, and fine tunes on the wire. But during these cold months, let me tell you - a bowl of any soup that Matt makes is going to warm your bones and feed your soul. They have nice salads too. Grab your bestie and make it a date.

    Egg and potato burrito

The previous reviews put it as a top contender for breakfast as we were passing thru town. First, I would call this a coffee shop with food and not a 'cafe'. Like any other coffee shop, step up to the counter, order, sit and wait for your name to be called. But unlike other shops the food isn't premade processed food that get reheated to order. The egg and hashbrown burrito I got was pretty good. I have never had a burrito made on a panini press and I can say it's a great way to do it! The flavor was good even though the potatoes had a little burned flavor. I did not like the salsa, it tasted like Pace from a jar.

Latte and a snippet of their menu

Visited on a Sunday for brunch time with a couple of friends and we spent about 2 hours here. They did not kick us out and let us enjoy our time here. When you arrive, you can sit wherever you like and their menus are available right at the front of the register. After you order, they will deliver your food and/or drink to you. Inside was spacious, with some outdoor seating. They even have a couch by the fireplace if youre just there to hangout and enjoy your coffee. For coffee, I ordered a latte. Creamy with a good taste of espresso. For food, I ordered a Eggplant Panini and although it look small, it was actually very filling. Could only eat half and took the rest home. I have to say to this day, I am still craving that sandwich. Their foccacia bread is so unique and tasted so well with the sandwich, I need to go back when I have time to. It was that good. My friends also ordered a panini and have finished theirs. Also noted that they loved theirs as well. Sadly, I did not write the names of them down. Overall, I definitely recommend. A good place to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee and/od catch up with friends.

This was a great spot to grab a light lunch and some coffee! The hubs and I were driving through the area and needed lunch and coffee and this hit those requirements. My husband ordered make your own sandwich and got it with turkey, mayo, tomato, pickle on focaccia and he loved it! I had a bite and it was good! The side salad and ranch was also delicious. He had an iced latte too which was delicious. I had a minestrone soup and it was so yummy as well as the caramel coffee. Service was quick and efficient, as well as friendly. They have tables inside and outside as well as a couch and comfortable chair area to sit. They have other foods such as pastries, breakfast items and sweets and lots more coffee drinks.

Their new French Dip with braised Portabella Mushrooms

This place is great! Its a good place to come and hang out with friends or your partner. They have great coffee and really good food! Today i tried their new menu and got the French dip with Braised Portabella Mushrooms and it was so delicious! You can taste the horseradish spread that they use, and it pairs well with the flavors of the sandwich, especially when you dip it in the broth it comes with.

This place came through in a pinch for some gluten free cinnamon rolls and we couldn't be happier! The employees were so helpful. We ended up getting some other items as well along with multiple drinks. Everything was fabulous. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed the spot for Sunday morning, coffee, and breakfast. We were able to sit outside and joy the end of summer. Good coffee options. I ordered the Zola bowl with vegan sausage for breakfast.it was tasty and very filling. I would order again. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. A place you can relax and enjoy.

I'll start off by noting that the incessant sentiments - from both my friends and countless Yelpers…read morehere - of entering and exiting the venue via their extremely tight one-way-ish street leading to and out of the parking lot is out of anyone's control at this point. That being said, it's hard not to have it affect the average concertgoer's experience regardless, including those of my four friends and me. We came here to see Hilary Duff on her Lucky Me tour on 7/15/26 and heeded outside advice to go as early as we possibly could to beat traffic going into their parking lot. Staff were proactive in guiding me and all others in front of and behind into their parking spots on a huge field that definitely warrants near-perfect driving so you don't accidentally scratch the side of someone's car. That of course didn't matter when we all stayed till the end for Duff's best song ever and tested our patience to get out with our cars and sanity intact. It took me about an hour and a half to finally budge and get out onto Auburn Enumclaw Rd SE and take my friends and myself home. Maybe I'll get the premium parking privileges next time I go to another event here. I wanna look past all that now and focus on the other parts of the venue, though. In general, the area before the seating area is vast, with many vendors that you can check out on this place's website. Food here - like most major venues for concerts - are priced high, so just be warned if you do decide to eat here, which is recommended given horrible traffic to get here the later you come. Pretty ironic, huh? For my food: - I got a double cheeseburger and fries from Mosh Burger. These are already prepared ahead of time so my friends and I got these immediately. The patties are a little hard and dry but the melted cheese brought back some of the juiciness of the burger overall. Fries are standard but filled us up very quickly. - I shared some NOLA-style fries with my friends. This had a ton of meats and jalapeno, and the fries were huge. Very rich in flavor, and one of our favorites to eat. - From a place called Riffresher, I got a pineapple yuzu lemonade and my friends each got their passion guava tea. We agreed that my pineapple yuzu lemonade had better taste than the passion guava tea, though I'm not a fan of the aftertaste of Liquid Death, which they use on all their drinks. The seating for the venue consists of a ton of magenta seats leading to the stage, and a grassy lawn all the way in the back. The magenta seats are reserved, while lawn seating looks to be on a first-come, first-serve basis as people filled that area quickly. Seats were relatively clean, and there's enough elbow room for everyone to stand up, jump around for joy and just relax in general before and during the concert. The venue is roofed only for those who purchase seats, though that's weather-dependent since the whole venue is outdoors. Lawn seating of course is a whole different story regardless of weather... Despite the parking and driving nightmares that countless Yelpers and friends have warned me about and that I have come to experience myself, I I took it all in stride. Would I want to experience all that again? Definitely not, but I had a great experience seeing Hilary Duff here regardless.

There's a reason so many people are complaining about the parking - it's horrific ever.single.time…read more But - when your favorite bands are coming, and you want to see them, you're making a fully informed choice at this point. We came later than normal hoping to avoid the nightmare (we really just wanted to see Evanescence), but that did not help ease the nightmare of the parking situation. Yes - they have flaggers; it's not true they don't exist. I don't give them grief because they've been handed an impossible situation to navigate. But the whole place is run poorly and you will get severely gouged at EVERY vendor. Especially at any of the alcohol locations. Their 'craft beer' choice are laughable. We live in the PNW - we all know what craft beer tastes like - none of their offerings are it. You will pay MORE for one can of beer than you do at the stadiums ($21 +tax). And for a 'large' strawberry vodka lemonade you will pay $26 +tax). But do NOT expect any vodka in it. Oh - and we waited 1-1/2 hrs to even start moving out of the parking lot when the show was over. This place is something we're stuck with unfortunately. I pray somebody else opens up something similar in South King County. They couldn't possibly do worse than this place.

There is always plenty of seating (metal chairs brought in) the two times we came here for events like this. There is some seating to the side against the wall too. But for a concert? Forget any kind of seating. While there is still seats against the wall they are quickly taken and you aren't likely to see who is performing on the stage anyway so you will need to stand. And there have been venues I have been to where there isn't any seating... and usually it's dive bars. Though the Spanish Ballroom isn't a dive bar. Lol! So wear good shoes. The concert I did go to the stage and acoustics weren't bad so it's a good place to do concerts aside from those who want to sit. Overall I like this place that is part of the Elks Temple... and it adds to this location as being one of my favorite McMenamins locations I have been to.

We were all dressed up for Halloween and the band was playing a wide range of spooky hit music and there were a lot of very cool costumes everywhere. People's creativity really shined at this event. The floor was super sticky which prevented me from doing my version of the Moonwalk dancing but there was plenty of room to move. There were lots of water jugs available for hydration for everyone in their hot costumes and great bar service. We had a good time and I would love to come back for their daily tour of this Spanish Ballroom with the lights on!
