My partner and I spend thousands of dollars a year at this location on personal and business drinks/food/snacks. Today she has ordered her usual drink that we have been getting here for years and when she asked to have her drink filled to the rim with oat milk, they did not. When she asked to have an issue corrected they told her she would have been charged 3$ extra and gave her attitude that was simply not worth an issue over minor mistake. Sadly while sitting on a patio and having breakfast we witnessed a drive through red-headed male employee give attitude to customers, I.e. when someone asked for a latte, the male made a very annoyed remark to the customer "what KIND OF LATTE, I mean just tell me what KIND you want" This is a *shocking* difference from our usual experience at this store. read more

Horrible. I don't know what you guys are using for coffee grounds these days (It tastes like you're not using any)....I ordered a Latte, and long story short, it tasted nothing like the Starbucks I remember, and have come to know and love over many years. It tasted like NOTHING period. Hot water with a quarter cup of cold leftover coffee thrown in. At the prices you folks charge which I'm happy to pay for quality, are exorbitant for this low quality swill. I guess it's just another sign of the times. I won't be back. I decided last minute to pull in last night and get a coffee. I was exhausted and instead of relating and repeating what I wanted I just ordered it through the app. I waited to make sure it went through and then pulled in to the drive thru to pick it up. I didn't expect it to be ready any faster than if I had ordered it through the drive thru. The gal at the window decided to lecture me on how I should have ordered it in person instead of using the app. She was so rude, I was actually shocked that this little girl was going to lecture me over and over about using the app, "waiting 30 seconds" and then pull into the drive thru. I said either way I'd have to wait but she was so condescending and rude, I was absolutely shocked to be treated that way. This store has gone down hill so much over the years and this will absolutely be my last trip to that store. read more

I order Starbucks through doordash. I have specific instruction that are very easy to follow to get to my house. They keep sending dashers that can't speak English! They can't read the instructions, they won't answer if I call because they don't speak English. I want a doordash driver than can speak English, read my instructions and talk to if need be. The Gilroy Plaza Starbucks is the worst! It takes 30 minutes to make a mocha. It is faster to drive to Kelton.

If your lobby is going to be closed you could lock the door. No cafe seating and not taking any orders inside are 2 different things.

The staff is always kind and if they mess something up they always are willing to fix it!

Honestly a great starbucks location in Redding. The baristas are friendly and provide excellent customer service. They easily made drink suggestions and even delivered items to elderly patrons (so sweet to watch). Store is very clean and quiet. Great place to do homework or write some emails. There is a mix of young and old in the store but nothing too rowdy. My drink was delicious and made quickly. One of the baristas even offered me a bag of chips for free to try. I was impressed! My husband and I will return. :) read more

My mother, who is the administrative assistant at our church, went to the Starbucks at 3425 Placer St in Redding and was shouted at by one of the employees. She was trying to find out how to buy a large number of cake pops, and when she asked for clarification about the store policy limitations on how many a person can buy at one time, the worker yelled at her multiple times. The manager, who was standing right there, did nothing. Rude, unprofessional, and shameful. read more

This is the best Starbucks in town! Kerri runs a great crew of people. Jayne is always fantastic, she knows my work schedule and that I only come in on the days I work, I was cracking up when my schedule changed, I came in on a day I usually don't, and she asked me why I was going to work that day. They are so attentive to their customers, it really keeps me coming back to this location. I will go out of my way to go to Placer, I don't care if I'm over in Enterprise. I even have another SB in the shopping center I work at, they have a few really friendly employees but for the most part, the place is just blah. I'm such a Placer Heights snob (typical born-and-raised-on-the-westside attitude, right?) As a side note, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the mobile ordering app. Sometimes it goes on the fritz and that's frustrating, but for the most part it works great.. I get in my car, send my drink order before I back out of my driveway, drop my kiddo at daycare and then go across the street and it's sitting there waiting for me. I love how they clearly prioritize mobile orders and have them ready for those of us that need to get in and out fast. It actually allows me to get coffee any morning I want, and not just the mornings I have an extra 20 minutes to wait in the drive-thru while the guy ahead of me orders six different drinks and enough breakfast sandwiches to fill a bus, because of course he always does. My favorite drink at Starbucks is Java Chip, I got a grande Java Chip with non fat milk and a extra shot no whip. Usually it's soooo good. I haven't gone to this location for a long time Placer/Buenaventur. Well this is the worst drink I have ever had from Starbucks first of all there were no chips at all then it's like drinking flavored milk not slushy at all. You would think for almost $6.00 this drink would be Amazing well it was not even close I drank half and threw it away I was not amazed !!! read more

First time reviewing a Starbucks, and this place deserves it! I've rarely met such friendly baristas. My barista Jane recognized that I had been in earlier in the morning to do work, and charged me the refill price when I was prepared to pay for a new drink. This is the kind of customer service that makes me a loyal customer--friendly staff who remember you, and go out of their way to be thoughtful and kind. This is my go-to spot in Redding for sure! Ok...I come here a lot...and probably will continue to do so...no competition...but this comes up a lot so decided to say something. There is way too much chit chat among the staff and consequently the service is SLOW. ..I counted 5 staff and only two of us in the customer line...ordered ice coffee and sw...so why they had to ask twice what the order was...then another 5 minute wait!!! Is beyond me? In the meantime I'm listening to staff laughing and joking,talking about school, etc...I wonder if management knows or cares but thought it was important to speak up... read more

Came here to enjoy some coffee and get some work done, but the ladies working were incredibly obnoxious and distracting. Meg, in particular was awful. The things coming out of her mouth were terribly inappropriate and loud. Her manager needs to have a serious conversation with her about how to act professional while on the job. Must mention that Mal was awesome. She was super friendly to all customers, including myself, and never seemed to partake much in Meg's gross behavior.
