Jeff is very hospitable. The ambiance is relaxed w soft Christmas music in the back to enjoy your cookie or yogurt. I've taken my daughter on a few daddy n daughter dates. If you love Christmas, yogurt and great service check it out.

Large bowl is reminiscent of some raspberry that I scooped out into the parking lot

Love me some frozen yogurt but I was very disappointed and a little unsettled when I got the raspberry flavor (which I have gotten before and is a go to for me!) and it unfortunately tasted very much like a soapy chemical!!!!! I even bought a larger container which the total ended up being 17$ I went back in to ask about the taste and was told that it had been " asked about before by others" I was told I could grab some extra yogurt which made me feel a little bit better but still very concerning! This being the only frozen yogurt place in Redding saddens me cause I love frozen yogurt!!!

They also serve some teas and coffees, including espresso-based drinks. They do seem to run out of some of their popular items, so be aware if you're visiting a little later in the day. The service is great, and the food doesn't take long to come out. I feel that the prices are reasonable (though for some items, they err on the higher side of what I'd consider the average price range). I find that I like their pastries a little more than their savory food options (the lemon blueberry danish is wonderful), and the coffee isn't bad either. There are a lot of snacks and small purchasable items displayed around the store, largely from their own or other small businesses. I like the selection offered, and I do think it's wonderful that they seem very supportive of small businesses. I would fully recommend stopping by for a nice breakfast or brunch, or even just to pick up snacks or dessert for a treat later in the day. It wasn't too busy when we visited, so sitting down to relax here was also very nice. Overall, a very solid spot with good food and a nice atmosphere.

As she gets older, I decided to start celebrating her half birthday). When we were walking towards this place after parking, we were surprised to see a few dogs (with their owners) walking out the door. That let's us know that 32 Below Ice Cream is dog friendly. When we walked in, we were greeted by two friendly employees behind the counter. One of the employees told us that they offer pup cups of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. My husband thought vanilla ice cream would be nice since she had received a puppucino from Starbucks yesterday. So that employee made one for her right away. I was really surprised how big the scoop was and also later finding out that it was free was really surprising. Then later on, after trying a few samples, we ended up getting the following for ourselves: Mountain Blackberry Revel, Kid Size, $3.50 prior to tax- I really liked the flavor of this ice cream. I think it is a vanilla ice cream with swirls of blackberry throughout. Butter Pecan, Kid Size, $3.50- I didn't have any of this but my husband liked it. He told me that he always likes to go with the classics. ---------------------------- (Total= $7.51 after tax, prior to tip) Because the employees were so great, my husband decided to give tip. We sat inside after we got our order, which was nice to be able to enjoy our ice cream inside instead of outside like we normally would do at other ice cream places that don't normally allow dogs inside. I really like the ski lift inside that is nice for a photo op. If I lived here, my dog and I would definitely be a regular.

The staff is super welcoming, and they even offer samples, which is always a bonus when trying to decide. I had to try a few before settling on the Mountain Blackberry flavor, and it was out of this world--creamy, and packed with flavor. I ended up getting a junior sugar cone scoop, and it was hands down the best purchase I've made in Redding (besides my snow trotters). The cone was fresh and crispy, and the ice cream itself was deliciously satisfying. If you're in the area, this place is an absolute must-stop. The service is great, and the ice cream is even better. Trust me, you won't regret it!
