Excellent little donut shop located between Safeway and Lowe's. Appears to be family run. I walked in and there was a small line. The lady working the counter efficiently got everyone served and out the door while being friendly. The selections were great ranging from plain glazed to a bacon covered maple bar (may come back tomorrow for that!). They also featured oversized croissants that come plain, chocolate, cream cheese or ham & cheese filled (did the ham & cheese and it was real good). They also had kolaches. The Donut House has the best donuts! I'm not a huge donut fan but my family all love them so we started coming here years ago. We've had donuts at other places in or near here that just aren't anywhere near as delicious. Their Apple fritters are HUGE and soooo flavorful and moist. My husband loves their cinnamon rolls. Our daughter is a chocolate cake with sprinkles donut fan and is never disappointed. We've had other kinds - maple bars, chocolate bars including the ones filled with cream, twists, glazed - and they're all delish. Their donut holes are yummy little morsels, as well. After seeing the good reviews, I decided to try this donut shop when we were on vacation. There was also a line out the door! the employees were following COVID protocols but some customers in line were not. I got some donut holes, normal raised donuts and blueberry donut. They were all great! I wish the raised donuts and donut holes were a lot fluffier. They were a bit dense. The blueberry donut was also good, but I wished there were more blueberries in the dough itself. Overall, good place to get your donut fix. Big parking lot as well so easy to find parking. read more

Not blown away like the rest of reviewers. When I walked in, I noticed a couple inside - guy was wearing a mask, girl was not. I watched as she rubbed her nose before placing her order. It is disappointing that business owners aren't doing more to enforce their policies. I realize that this area is full of anti-maskers, but it's no excuse to not step up and protect others. There was an elderly patron standing very close to this non-masker and I couldn't help but feel alarmed by that. I work in the healthcare field, and I know how important it is right now to mask up. I also know it can feel uncomfortable as an employee to request for someone to wear a mask, but that momentary discomfort is worth it if it means keeping yourself and your family safe. So, after that initial impression, I decided to get some coffee. I wasn't really thrilled to see that the coffee was already pre-made, sitting in the pot on the warmer, available for self-serve. It's great that it was kept warm, but it didn't look fresh and especially at a time like this, it's probably not good to have different people constantly touching the coffee pot handle. Well, I poured a cup anyway, and poured some cream in, which immediately curdled. Ick. I tried again with new creamer. The worker did not apologize when I brought that to her attention and in fact, said "yeah it happens sometimes" and seemed annoyed that I had to junk the cup. For the donut, I ordered a chocolate old-fashioned, my favorite kind. Both my partner and I were equally disgusted by the coffee. My partner is not nearly as picky as me about coffee, but we both took one sip and threw it out. It tasted super bitter. I know it's cheap coffee, but still. The donut itself was just OK. The icing didn't have much chocolate flavor, just tasted like sugar. The cake part tasted like it had been sitting in the case for a couple days, it was not fresh and didn't have any flavor. I only ate half. My partner ordered a glazed donut, and said his donut tasted good, and the texture was nice and fluffy. Overall, this place just reminds me of any other little donut shop, no particular charm. Masks clearly not required for service. Donuts are not a stand out, at least the one that I had wasn't. Stopped here on our way home from up Oregon. It's located in a large shopping plaza where there is plenty of parking. We stopped in about 9:30 am and got one apple fritter and one chocolate glazed donut. Their prices are reasonable and it seems to be family ran. The service we received was friendly. We used the Yelp check-in to receive the chocolate glazed donut for free. The chocolate glazed donut tasted fresh and airy. Not too dense and was quite moist. The apple fritter...not so much. Crusted in a ton of sugary glaze, it was nearly hard. The fritter contained nearly no apples and this was a huge disappointment.
