The donuts are delicious, the staff is a hit or miss, my mom said 2 maple buttermilk donuts as she despises glazed donuts, she couldn't see the lady who was working on Sunday May 31st at 7:30 AM put glazed donuts in the bag so she went back in. I was on my way to Redding and I forgot to stop in Red Bluff for donuts I was gonna bring. I just forgot to go south part of town, and just hopped the 5 to Redding. Lucky I saw in Anderson, on the way to Redding, there was Jack's donuts! So I stopped there amd you know what, those cinnimon rolls thingys looked pretty good and I'll make a better impression bring those instead of just donuts. The service was friendly and fast and I got out of there with my cinnimon rolls and I managed to make it to Redding without eating any of them! Huge fresh brewed coffee 1/2 the price of Starbucks (and not burnt much better), coffee is only $1.40-$1.85 Donut dozen only $10 super fresh made all morning and superb!! I visited Jack's donuts when passing through the area. Their donuts are fresh and delicious. They're exactly what you'd expect from a mom and pop donut shop. The first time my friends and I visited we ordered a few glazed donuts and a maple sour cream donut. The glazed donuts were light and airy, and lightly glazed. The maple sour cream donut (my favorite!) was crispy on the edges, and moist and cake-y in the interior. The maple glaze exactly how I expected it. Not to thin, but the perfect thickness and flavor was on point. We like the donuts from this local donut place so much that we came back the next day and picked up a dozen for our road trip to Oregon. Highly recommend stoping by for a quick breakfast or snack! Plus, employees wear masks at all times and enforce the rules with their customers. I love that they're being extra safe during the pandemic. read more

I've been told this establishment is under new ownership. When Fryers aren't cleaned and oil is reused it can be carcinogenic. I could taste the old oil and unfortunately the establishment's floors were very dirty on my last and final visit. So sad this place used the have the best doughnuts. read more

Most of these donuts are the best you will find anywhere, however if your not there before 10 am you will not get your choice as they sell out way before they close. I would say to Jack; keep it open a little longer and make another batch or two. If people know that you will have donuts later in the day you will do more business. Many people are not early birds and get there by 10 and they are almost sold out. If you do this I will give you a 5 stars which is what you deserve. read more
