I was on my way to Redding and I forgot to stop in Red Bluff for donuts I was gonna bring. I just forgot to go south part of town, and just hopped the 5 to Redding. Lucky I saw in Anderson, on the way to Redding, there was Jack's donuts! So I stopped there amd you know what, those cinnimon rolls thingys looked pretty good and I'll make a better impression bring those instead of just donuts. The service was friendly and fast and I got out of there with my cinnimon rolls and I managed to make it to Redding without eating any of them! I'm glad Jack's was here in Anderson on the way to Redding. I'll stop here again.

Went here for breakfast early Sunday morning. We had stayed at the Best Western next door and nothing else was open. So we were forced to eat unhealthy fried dough with sugar on it. ;o) Easily the BEST donuts I have ever had. These are nothing like a Krispy Kreme which is basically sugar filled air. These babies have substance, striking the perfect balance of dough to sugar. We got three glazed donuts and a quad shot expresso for $3.75. Yup that's right. $3.75. We asked twice if the price was correct. One donut and I was stuffed. I would have liked to eat more just because they were so delish but couldn't. The expresso was good and strong, not bitter. My husband has said that from now on when we travel up to WA or OR we will be stopping at Jack's every time. read more

My boyfriend wanted to surprise me today with donuts. The donuts were $1.60 a piece, which is ridiculous. There was hardly any icing on them. I have to make some icing to make them edible. We won't be back!!! read more

The best donuts in Shasta County! They have chocolate donut holes!!! Who does that!?! Jack's does! All the doughnuts are good and fresh. They run out if you are late, so get there early. My favorite is the chocolate custard filled and a maple bar. You won't be disappointed!!! And if you do go, grab me a bag of chocolate donut holes for the road! read more

I really wanted to help support a local business, but the three times I've been in the shop to get a box of donuts they always seem to have less than a dozen on hand. I always feel like I'm picking through the leftovers. The menu is diverse but the actual donuts they keep on hand is so small I never got a chance to try very much. The few I've had were fine, but I feel bad for Jack's because once the DD gets build down the road they will not survive. read more

Last weekend I decided I was on a mission to find the best donuts in the Redding area. I started at the 'corner donuts shop' in Redding... (read between the lines) It was not good... at all. On a friends advice, I took a ride down to Jack's Donuts in Anderson... Holy Amazing Donuts!! Let me just say, fresh, beautiful, truly Heavenly (LOL) I will have to say, it will be difficult to beat these fantastic pastries! Well done Jack's, we'll done. I am an Apple Fritter connoisseur. I bake my own and I know what the consistency, flavor and texture should be. Jack's are spot on!! read more

Wasted my time twice now. They said crulers are only made on the weekend sat/ sun. I drove down from Redding to find out they don't make them because they some how are more costly to make? What a joke the rest og their donuts suck compared to Redding....I wS just here to buy crulers that no one seems to make anymore. What a waste of my time. read more

By far some of the best donuts I have ever had. The prices are cheap and the donuts are delicious. The donuts are so fresh that if you get there early enough in the morning, they are still warm from just being baked. I have always received great customer service as well. Jack's Donuts is a must have if you are passing through Anderson. read more

Great locally made donuts. It's a little hard to find, tucked into a strip mall, but it was worth it. Unfortunately I came a little later in the day, I've heard the selection is best early in the morning. The flavored and choices were the usuals, nothing unique really, but fluffy and not greasy. I'd like to try this place again, and get there early to see what they are like super fresh! read more

The best donuts I have ever had, not heavy like other donuts nice and fluffy. The only problem is they sell out of the good stuff by about 10:00am so you have to get there early. I am hooked on the maple bars but my husband loves the glazed old fashioned. read more

Got to this donut shop at 3 something on a Friday. I was slightly disappointed with the options left, but I'm not holding that against them since I came in late in the day. I got two French crullers. They were not very good. They're usually really moist in the middle and these weren't. The donuts weren't inedible, but I've had much better. I will give them another chance next time I'm in Anderson and make sure to update my review. read more

great staff! always friendly and cheerful! i've been coming here for years and i feel like the donuts are getting bigger and better each time. i recommend the apple fritters. they're what an apple fritter should be- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. i always take a dozen to my sister in the bay area when i go down to visit her. she freezes them and then when shes ready to eat one she heats it up and slaps butter on there! they also make the best french crullers i've ever had. i used to eat french crullers a lot as a kid. i grew up on the east coast and it was my favorite donut growing up. since moving to redding/ anderson i havent seen too many crullers around. the lady said the french donuts are the last ones to come out (im guessing 8 or 9 o clock?). that's good for me because i can sleep in and by the time i get to jack's they still have the good stuff! haha. read more

The lady there was so nice to me and my family. I have three kids and she was so kind and patient with them. Being a mother, I try to make sure my kids are always in clean areas and I noticed that this shop was a lot cleaner than the others I have visited. I know it sounds strange but please hear me out on this. They had a mens and a womens restroom and the womans was so clean! All the other donut shop bathrooms i have used have always been nasty and i am always skeptical of letting my kids use the bathrooms there. Thank you Jack's Donuts for keeping up with the cleaning. As for the donuts, there were so many to choose from! we got maple bars, classic glaze, an apple fritter, and some chocolate donut holes. I've never seen chocolate donut holes before so that was super cool! the apple fritter was amazing! we will definitely be back soon! it's our new favorite! read more

My boyfriend took me here for the first time last week and I'm mad at him for not taking me sooner! Lol. He took me here for Sunday brunch. The place was very lively. The workers were friendly. There was a lot of seating. I was surprised at how large this shop is. I'm used to shops on having two or three tables. I don't remember how many tables this place had but it was 3 times larger than the shops I'm used to. I got a maple "alligator" and my boyfriend got a cinnamon roll. They were so big. I've never seen a cinnamon roll so large. The alligator i got had so much whipped cream inside! Maybe 2-3 inches thick? (see pics) So cheap too! It was paradise. This is my favorite donut shop! The donuts are giant & taste way better than the other shops. The price is fair in comparison to other shops in the area but because of the size and quality you get more bang for your buck. The service is amazing. The ladies are nice and work pretty quick.
