Food always tastes good. Only improvement I could suggest is having some lunch items available during breakfast.

I liked this place mostly. Quick service and friendly. Decently priced. A little sad at the lack of knowledge of what's gluten free on their menu. When asking if they use tamari or gluten free soy sauce, she said she wasn't sure and pointed to a list of salad dressing options that were marked. Not their rice bowls toppings - heads up- it's regular soy sauce. Also since I was asking all the gluten free questions, it would have been nice to be informed that the tacos were also served on flour tortillas. Not the cashier or the menu indicated this. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy, or I'd be furious. Obviously this place is a bakery, so there's gluten everywhere. I'm not mad, honestly. Just a little disappointed. Any information is best. I got the chimichurri steak tacos, which are covered in chipotle aioli - I'd honestly rename them to be chipotle steak tacos. Get zero chimichurri, the aioli completely takes over. I do like the steak isn't tough though, so still get some points for the attempt. For me, and my gluten sensitivity, probably won't be back since there aren't many options that are actually gluten free. read more

First time going here while we're on our way to Mt. Shasta. Place is nice and all their breakfast menu are really good. We tried this breakfast burrito and its so good. Their coffee also is good: i ordered my favorite mocha. The only thing we didn't like about is the matcha. Not even good but most of the food and their coffee are good, will try again here next time. read more

Glad we finally stopped in. Cheerful place for lunch. Enjoyed a Kailua Pulled Pork Sandwich and Tomato Soup, and a Bacon Cheeseburger with Apple Fennel Slaw. The lemonade with mint was a great kickoff for the summer. Good quality and satisfying meal. We are visiting from out of town and had super good food here last year so we decided to go again. The food is STILL good. The service is leaving something to be desired. I say this because we got takeout from them three times in the span of a week and each time, despite verbal confirmation the orders were incorrect. And not little things like sauces or no onions but whole dishes or items missing. Something in the system made need to be changed. Meh! Thought it was nice but nothing really special. Yes it's nice inside and the team was nice and helpful. Interior was nothing special, was a bit dirty as there were tables not wiped of and stuff on the floor. Very casual and very local. The food, Humm....... Well the pork was over salted and so much barely edible. The bowl it came in overall was not well balanced in seasoning with nothing but salt as it was overpowering. The ahi tuna bowl was dry and what dressing there was was too little. The base was bland and if it were not for the little bit of dressing it would have no flavor. The two desserts (a double chocolate chip cookie and a salted caramel apple pie) were not good at all. Looked good in the case however not the case. Cookie was like a rock and dried out. Not the brownie texture we were lead to believe. The Pie, was a teaspoon of some filling but mostly crust and that was like eating sand. The reason for two stars was just the service. read more

But happy to report I received the same amazing service and enjoyed the same delicious chicken teriyaki bowl! This location is a bit smaller than RB & has a small parking lot, but there is more further in... just a small note the second lot is not well lit at night. The staff was friendly, welcoming and checked on me- I also ordered the fries which are totally addicting! There is a huge menu which I am hoping to move to different items but this bowl is too good! The place is neat and clean, small in size - understandable due to the location it is at. We've been to Redding many times and this is the first time we tried this place. Service is fast and efficient. Staffs are friendly. I'm a little hesitant to dine here since its by a gas station but a friend recommended it so we give it a try. I got the TAB sandwich (forgot to take a pic of it, we're super hungry because it's late for lunch already). It was perfectly seasoned with everything, I love how the sauce is not so overpowering the other ingredients. The only thing is it's a little bit messy yo eat, chicken keeps on falling off the bun. But to say that we like this place is understatement coz we went back the next day for dinner, this time my hubby got the ahi salad and I got the barbecue chicken salad, our friends hit the black and blue salad and we all loved it. Of course we tried their pie, the only pie they had for the night was the blueberry. It's good, not too sweet. It's more of a cheesecake kind of dessert. I've been here several times but here's my first review. The food is good, although a little spendy, $36 for two people including one smoothie, a salad, a bowl, and small fries. So yeah, that's $$$. But it's 2022 and Putin hates everyone and this is his fault. I had the jerk chicken bowl which was tasty, I like their rice a lot. It was not as spicy as I would prefer but still had a decent kick. Probably plenty for most people. My lunch date had the bbq chicken salad and the dressing was tangy-a nice add for the fries we tried (fries were so-so. Not amazing). This place is crowded, a good thing really if you're not in a hurry because it means the food is good. The staff are friendly (too friendly....is the beer free for staff??? I don't know). This place is delicious! Their ahi bowl was exactly what I was craving: fresh crunchy and yummy! Their menu is robust with a lot of other fresh food items. They also have bake goods and coffee. Inside is well lit, with plenty of sitting. The gal at the corner was so friendly and patient suggesting her favorite items on the menu and what's most popular. Really excellent selection of healthy foods! I had a really delicious Cobb salad, and my friends each had a different hamburger and sides. Many choices for a sides, my friends had regular fries, garlic fries and small salad. Yes they have pie but they are mini versions of pies, plus cheesecake bars, cookies. We've really been enjoying everything about their location near the college so we decided to give this location another try. The woman working the register and taking orders didn't smile once. In fact, we felt bad asking for her to cut our cronut in half for us because of it. We did tip her hoping it might improve her demeanor. No such luck ...we discovered this when she delivered our food and we brought it back to her asking if they could heat the potatoes. I ordered egg breakfast: 2 eggs over medium (these were good and hot), bacon (fatty and lukewarm warm at best), multigrain toast (hot and delish) and potatoes. The potatoes were warm to the touch and cool in the middle so we brought them back asking they be heated. They came back warmer but still spongy and cool in the center. Maybe they'd been sitting around for a while but we ended up throwing them away. Randy ordered the croissant Benedict and it was pretty bland and tough. He threw away some of that too. He always orders this at the college location and it's always so good. Hugely disappointing experience. I would definitely recommend the location near the college or down town. For lunch we had the Kahlua Pulled Pork sandwich (deconstructed as a salad) and it was really tasty. For breakfast we had a bean bowl (the name escapes me) that was supposed to come with Queso Fresco on ; the ingredients were good but the cheese tasted like crumbled goat cheese rather than Queso Fresco, and this threw off the whole flavor of the bowl; adding some salsa made the dish work out okay, but they do need to make sure to get some authentic Mexican queso fresco in there that really has that punchy flavor to it. The atmosphere inside and out is bland, but if you are looking to fill up your belly with some good quality ingredients this is the place to come. read more
