When Crumbl first opened in Redding, we were genuinely excited, and initially, they did not disappoint. Unfortunately, over time we noticed a significant decline in both the quality of the cookies and the customer service. After several disappointing visits, we stopped going for about 6-8 months. We eventually decided to give them another chance, but after two more poor experiences, we made the decision not to return. Recently, my parents visited for the first time because my mom wanted to surprise our kids with cookies. Sadly, their experience only reinforced why we stopped going. The cookies were noticeably inconsistent in size and appearance, looked nothing like the quality you expect from Crumbl, and unfortunately didn't taste very good either. What was equally disappointing was hearing that the employee helping my parents seemed irritated by their questions and generally unhappy to be there. For someone's first visit, that's certainly not the experience you hope for. It's disappointing because this location started out so well. I hope Crumbl takes a closer look at the consistency, quality, and customer service at the Redding location. There is clearly a standard associated with the Crumbl name, and unfortunately, this location has repeatedly fallen short of it for our family. read more

Ordered two cookies and got home and they were rock hard. Basically unedible. Called and supposedly they are processing a refund. Very disappointing and shocked at the poor quality. read more

Delicious, but extremely unhealthy. The service is quite nice, actually. The ambiance is not the best, but just because people are antsy to get their hands on cookies. The building has cobwebs in it and they're quite short staffed (but that part is not their fault.) Overall good place though. read more

I was disappointed with my recent visit to Crumbl Cookies. While the cookies themselves were decent, the customer service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed uninterested in helping customers, and I felt rushed while placing my order. Several employees were chatting among themselves while a line of customers waited to be served. read more

Sigh... This is just evil. Cupcake topping on great cookies. Good thing they offer small packages. I ate them before taking pictures. Sigh again. read more

Love the rewards that you can earn. Plus every year I get my free birthday cookie. Every time I go the staff is always very kind and helpful, the store is clean and inviting. If you e not had a Crumbl cookie definitely you need to. Worth the time and money. read more

Clean bakery, good food. Corporate menu changes weekly, so decent variety. Friendly staff

Okay y'all I finally understand the hype. I had a reward from buying a 12 pack for a party... so since we were visiting family we decided to stop in and use that reward. The place was clean, and you can watch the employees prepping the cookies by hand when you walk in. The cookies are pretty big and super rich. You can easily share 1 cookie 4 ways and be satisfied. Their flavors are unique and delicious and man, we sure had a happy 7 year old. Lol They aren't cheap so certainly a special treat... but totally worth the splurge for a birthday or special event. read more

Just love their cookies. They are always very helpful and easy to deal with. We love all of the different flavors that they offer.

Honestly the workers are rude everytime but unfortunately the cookies are to good I keep going back

The cookies are delicious and the staff is kind and excellent. The bad reviews are not warranted. And Lizzie is awesome and deserves a promotion and raise. read more

Have tried them a few times, each time the cookies were VERY doughy. They had a Bacon topped cookie that had good flavor but the texture just is not spot on. It just seems to be the trendy thing now until the next big thing comes around.. Skip... read more

Great service, cookies could be better. The Redding staff is always nice and welcoming when I arrive.

Always a pleasure getting to try the new flavors of the month. I can never actually eat a whole cookie though, so definitely buy the cutter and share with someone! read more

It says online that they are open until 10 here in Redding, but that's a lie, it's 2024. If you can't stick to what your website says, change it.........................called first, reached a human on the 3rd call to them they say yes we are open even the there open sign is off and front door is locked......... read more

Yelp deems a 3-star rating as "ok". I concur. The cyclic cookie menu changes so customers get a pretty good variety in addition to a few staples that seem to be fan favorites. I'm a stickler for service & the level of service at this restaurant is pretty minimal. I've visited a few times on varying days/times all to be met with a similar lack of care regarding all customers. Some went in with enthusiasm & were immediately brought down by the young staff. I tried to make small talk with the staff, all to be met with either no response, which is always awkward or made to feel like I was an annoyance. The products themselves are always overly sweet, which must be an attempt to make up for the somewhat sour employee attitudes. The cookies literally make my teeth hurt & even my husband & kids who love sweets, find these too sweet & often split a single cookie & sometimes don't finish their half. For a lack of service & A lack of quality product, I've decreased 1 star each which reflects my 3 star rating. I'll not go back but I'm glad options exist for others to choose from. read more

I love soft chewy cookies, but NOT raw in the middle! Super bummed after spending so much money on a dozen cookies to have the middles still be raw dough. read more

Delicious cookies !!!! love how they swap out different flavors and it always smells so good in there

As always, cookies were delicious and well presented in the cute pink box! This week they had the pink sugar cookie back and it did not disappoint! read more

Cookies for 4th of July were a hit! Strawberry Shortcake, S'mores, & Cornbread were the favs!

Good cookies, a bit overpriced. The menu changes every week. My favorite was the chocolate cupcake cookie. I don't know when they'll bring it back. The staff aren't very cheerful. And the ambiance is nonexistent. ‍ read more

I appreciate that they are always changing flavors. I enjoy the variety that they use as well.

Very big cookies that falls apart easily, then you're literally eating crumbs. tried a few flavors, some were too sweet. I'm glad I tried them but don't think I'll be back. read more

We received a gift card and bought 6 different cookies. $25! This family of 4 is not into gourmet cookies, i guess. The "pink" cookie frosting tasted like soap, very disappointing since it was advertised as almond flavored. The other flavors were ok, but we won't go back. read more

TL;DR Awful recipes served raw. My wife received a gift card recently and decided to try this place today to see if it lived up to the hype. All of the cookies we received were under-baked, with raw dough. Cutting them in half revealed wet dough interiors inside a thin layer of crunchy exterior. Tasting them yielded no insight other than unbalanced flavor that can't keep up with the amount of pure sugar. Save money and buy pre-made TollHouse cookie dough at the grocery store--eat it raw and it will be similarly cooked and taste better. Crumbl's hype is undeserved. read more

Delicious, flavorful, soft cookies. I like cookies to be soft and these did not disappoint.

I'm a Cookie Monster for sure, but almost can't eat these- they seem way undercooked- not very fresh and sooo sugary. Maybe finish cooking them a little more? read more

Our daughter had a party and one of her friends brought some for everyone to try. She said 6 cookies are $25?! Wow! I figured they must be pretty damn good to charge that much. Tried a couple and they were just ok at best. Not much flavor and a lot of plain, thick dough. It's a hard pass for me especially at the over inflated prices. I looked up pricing and store information on the internet for Crumbl Cookies and for some reason the Redding store is charging almost double what the rates listed on the company website has posted. Supposed to be around $13 for 6, not $25! Maybe the Redding store management / owners can explain this discrepancy. I did make sure to enter what state I was inquiring about for accurate pricing. I also called the Chico Ca store to ask about pricing and they charge the listed prices in the attached picture from the company website. The Redding store has some explaining to do as to why they are not in line with company pricing! I'm seriously considering reporting this to the corporate offices. Not ok! read more

Just meh. The cookies are overly sweet. Like really sweet. regular cookies like peanut butter or chocolate chip are ok but so sweet. the topped cookies are too sweet to eat. we had a caramel cheesecake cookie, which is just a sugar cookie topped with caramel and some cheesecake-like speed, and it was too sweet to eat, like toothache sweet. The line is long, with only one person taking orders. Go buy some Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough, you'll be happier and save yourself the $50 for a dozen price.. read more

Amazing cookies every time, the people are always nice and super welcoming. Also the store is always super clean and cute to go in.

The cookies are pretty good. Only reason I don't give them five stars is because I don't like things that are super sweet and they won't leave the frosting off for you. Seems silly to me. read more

I mean, their cookies are good, and normal sized, for a cookie shop, but incredibly expensive and their shops are so intensely bright, that I avoid going in. Like Averill gospital flourscent lights.
