Unfortunately, over time we noticed a significant decline in both the quality of the cookies and the customer service. After several disappointing visits, we stopped going for about 6-8 months. We eventually decided to give them another chance, but after two more poor experiences, we made the decision not to return. Recently, my parents visited for the first time because my mom wanted to surprise our kids with cookies. Sadly, their experience only reinforced why we stopped going. The cookies were noticeably inconsistent in size and appearance, looked nothing like the quality you expect from Crumbl, and unfortunately didn't taste very good either. What was equally disappointing was hearing that the employee helping my parents seemed irritated by their questions and generally unhappy to be there. For someone's first visit, that's certainly not the experience you hope for. It's disappointing because this location started out so well. I hope Crumbl takes a closer look at the consistency, quality, and customer service at the Redding location. There is clearly a standard associated with the Crumbl name, and unfortunately, this location has repeatedly fallen short of it for our family.

It looked delicious and I was super excited to try it. I opened the package, and as I pulled it out there was a dark hair attached to the brownie. I definitely tried to give the benefit of the doubt, and figure out any other way this could've happened. But the package was completely sealed prior to me opening it, I had just washed my hands, and my hair is not dark. I immediately threw it all away. Super disappointing because it looked like it was going to be tasty! The back label does state, "Made in a home kitchen." While I do understand how these things can happen, it's still fairly gross and not something I'd like to experience again. On the plus side, I did see the hair before I'd taken a bite at least!

I felt a bit guilty because it was covered in oozing coconut frosting with little coconut shreds on top. As soon as I got into my car, I sat there just thinking I would give it a taste. Then I decided I would eat only half and save the rest for later. And of course, I wasn't even able to do that and within a matter of minutes, it was gone, and I think I licked out the to go box. The next time I go back, I will most definitely get there much earlier, but I do realize I must ration myself or I will soon have to join Weight Watchers! There are a few photos of things they want us to believe they sell, but there are no prices, and no way to purchase any of the items shown, and well--you cannot eat photos. Very frustrating. I used the contact form, which was the only thing that appeared to be working, but I guess it was just for show too, as they failed to answer my question. I don't know if there is an actual store, or if she is operating from home. Either way I cannot drive around town searching for a store that may not exist. For one, I am no longer able to drive; and for two I'm in the hospital and would have liked to purchase a tasty treat.
