What a gem of a place! I'm visiting from out of town, my friend brought me here for lunch. It's one of her favorite places to eat and she doesn't eat out that often. I ordered the Monte Cristo crepe and a chai latte. She had her usual, the Thai Curry. The owners were so friendly and service was personal. The food was delish! Portions were large, so I couldn't finish my crepe, but had left overs to take back. We sat inside, but the front patio area was also inviting. I loved the plants. read more

Easy ordering over the I-Pad's, thought it was still personal with being greeted immediately upon walking in. The lady helped us with any questions we had. Food came out relatively quick, and it tasted good. I have to say that it was not extraordinary, but I am also not a crazy crepe person so maybe that's why. I also thought it was odd to be served on throw-away plates, I get the eco factor, but paying ~16-18 bucks an entree to eat out and get the 'camping plate special'... Put off eating here for a while, and now wish we had gone a lot sooner! The food and service were excellent. We got two savory vegan crepes, one sweet vegan crepe, and the vegan cream of mushroom soup. We loved it all and were practically licking our plates. The owners were very kind and friendly as well, and went above and beyond to accommodate us with our baby, offering a small spoon and slices of banana for him to enjoy. UPDATE AND EDIT: This restaurant is not 100% vegan. They serve meat. However, they are vegan knowledgeable and vegan friendly and I have zero issues or worries ordering here. My wife is Gluten Free and Vegan, and she loves this restaurant too. As I said before.... A vegan husband and wife run this restaurant. They are awesome!!! They make yummy vegan food. This is the worst rating I've ever left. Usually I can filter out places ahead of time so we never get to this point. But if a friend picks the spot...well, here we are. All I can say is that the eggs were powdered eggs, the frittata wasn't fresh, and a day of horrible after effects involving many rolls of TP tell the tale. And it isn't a cheap place either. I wish this cafe was closer to my house. I was looking for a place to eat which had organic ingredients (I have autoimmune disease and it's important for me to eat toxin-free). I ordered vegetable omelette with potatoes and soda bread. The bread was one of the most delicious bread I've eaten. Also the apricot jam was so good I asked for more. Everything was super fresh and it felt good nourishing my body with healthy ingredients. I couldn't not mention how friendly the owners were - they have wonderful customer service skills. I will give 5 Stars because it's just that good!! We love all things organic and the flavors were off the chart. My wife had soup and spring salad while I had the Thai crepe. Crepe was large and a flavor bomb! Even the water was great. RO infused with lemon and orange. The service and friendliness were appreciated. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. What a unique and enjoyable breakfast we had here. The family who run it are exceptionally sweet & cheerful! The front area is like a mini garden .. so cozy. We ate as a family group so were able to taste each others dishes. All our dishes were beautifully prepared, unique, fresh and so tasty! We ordered a Breakfast Scramble, Seasonal Fruit Crepe, Pesto Chicken Crepe, Veggie Omelet, Meat Omelette .. etc. My favorite was the Scramble .. fluffy and so tasty and the Fruit Crepe .. fresh fruits w/homemade whipped cream. As a private chef, this is the best food in Redding. #2 is moonstone across the street. Everything homemade, organic, nothing from this place is made somewhere else! What a great spot!!! You walk in through a beautiful little happy courtyard and enter the bistro to be greeted by one of the nicest friendliest person I've come in contact with in a while. We ordered a Hazelnut Banana Crepe and The Scrambler that comes with fried potatoes and soda bread. You can choose fruit instead if you want. The Scrambler was outstanding, delicious flavor and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were delicious and the jam that came with the soda bread was perfect. The hazelnut banana crepe was large and tasty! You pick fresh or sautéed bananas and you can tell the whipped cream is made in house. Very good. I also ordered a latte with lavender flavor and it was perfect. Such a friendly and happy place. We learned they are open for dinner of Fridays and we will be back for sure. One of my new favorite spots! You can follow them on instagram for daily specials and soups. Wow! My Chicken Florentine crepe was so good. Has gluten-free options and everything is organic and seed-oil free. I really enjoyed my gf cookie for dessert. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We discovered it as we were traveling through Redding. From its cute little patio out front with an awning available for those hot days to its ultra clean interior, it offers a good feel right from the start. The menu is amazing, ranging from delicious omelets to crepes to salads and soups, all organic. And so are all their beverages. What we got was a pleasant location, generous wine pours, and a delightful range of dining offerings. Add to the diverse menu, a great outdoor patio with space for dogs, tree coverage to stay cool, and lovely table spacing to keep you from feeling like you're eating with 100 of your closet friends. I am orginally from Sacramento and then moved Yuba area for the last year. I just moved to Redding and was so happy to find this gem right down the street. The Greek salad was large, fresh and utterly delicious!! The owners were engaging and seemed to truly enjoy the customers. Theres no restaurants like this in Yuba and I was definitely missing it! Oh my, Le Testimony is AMAZING!!! Everything is organic. The food is incredibly delicious. The service is phenomenal. The ambience is so peaceful. We will for sure be back!
