Then we stopped for lunch in Redding at my favorite brewery, Final Draft. I love their side winder French fries. I decided to be daring and ordered an Ahi Tuna Burger, and it was delicious. The waitress also talked us into the new pickle fries which were unlike anything that I have ever had before as they were actual fries, not spears or coins. I hate the spears as they are always to juicy and hard to eat, and the batter always comes off the coins. These were perfect. Jason enjoyed his beer flight. The waitress was prompt, efficient, and extremely attentive and the place was clean and very inviting.

BBQ Brisket Burger

Very nice outdoor patio, quick and good service with a nice selection of beverages and food. We had a late lunch. The brisket burger was phenomenal. I would say you can't go wrong ordering anything with brisket here - smoked in house, sliced thin and deliciously tender. The peach salad was refreshing with fresh beets, feta crumbles, grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, red onion and scant pecans. I think the peaches were frozen - they came on the salad grilled and I didn't care for the ginger dressing.

Huge indoor space but we opted for the patio on this lovely day. Our waiter Isaiah was very attentive and service was quick. The Ahi burger was fresh and delicious and the tacos hit the spot. Great selection of locally brewed beer. Nice pit stop for a road trip.

We stopped at Final Draft Brewing Company for lunch during our long drive. Unfortunately, it fell short for me! On a Sunday afternoon, they weren't busy at all. The interior was very spacious and had an industrial vibe. They also had an outdoor seating area, which didn't look as cute. I skipped the beer, although two of my friends said theirs were great. The food was the real letdown, considering the menu sounded awesome. We got two orders of Mac & Cheese Bites to share between the four of us, and these were the best item of the bunch. I will say, some pieces just tasted like deep-fried gooey cheese, no actual macaroni. But I really enjoyed the spicy ranch dipping sauce. My friends ordered the Fish Tacos to share, and these were really not great. They said the fish tasted like it was past its prime. I shared the Harvest Salad and the Brisket Sliders. The salad was very mediocre and the chicken in it was super bland and dry. The texture of the squash was also off. The Brisket Sliders were okay, but also not amazing - oddly too much sweetness. Service was friendly and quick, but overall I wasn't a fan of this meal.

Downtown Redding honestly surprised me, it's super walkable, full of bike lanes, and everyone's cruising around on their e-bikes looking happy. The weather was perfect when we went, not too hot and not too cold, so walking over to The Final Draft Brewery felt like the perfect way to enjoy the evening. The vibe here is exactly what you want from a local brewery: relaxed, fun, and full of good energy. The music was a mix of late 90s/early 2000s hits, which totally set the tone for a happy night out. We each tried a couple of beers...I went with the Miso Blonde and the Hailey Comet, and both were delicious, smooth, and super refreshing. For dinner, I had the Showstopper Beyond Burger, it was perfectly cooked, layered with chipotle aioli, jalapeño aioli, and pepper jack cheese, just the right amount of spicy kick. I highly recommend it. Service was excellent! our server was attentive and friendly, and both food and drinks came out quickly. That always makes such a difference. Overall, Final Draft Brewery delivered on all fronts: great beers, tasty food, fast and friendly service, and a vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. With so many restaurants around, we're so glad we picked this one, it did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back!

Was in the area and they have a great selection of beer. We arrived around noon and a few tables were taken but no one was sitting at the bar. There is a lot of seating both inside and outside. We both ordered flights since we hadn't had their beer lately. I enjoy sours and they have a good amount to try. We ordered the Brisket Sliders and the Fried Green Beans. The food came out pretty quickly. Both were tasty but the sliders were messy (expected of course). You will need lots of napkins. Staff were nice and were very busy. There are many TVs available to watch sports.

Kettle sour was delicious!

We stop here every time we are traveling to/from Oregon and California. They never disappoint! As a plant-based eater, they are very happy to modify items where possible, and will check with the kitchen if they are unsure about ingredients. They also have a great in-house kettle sour.

They have a great variety of beer! And not just IPA/Hazy lol I had the blackberry blonde, true blood (blood orange), blueberry cider (it kinda taste like wine), and the goin' nutz stout. You can really taste the flavors without a hard imagination. The peanut butter jelly burger caught my attention and I just had to get it. And I was right, it was so yummy. It came with a side of your choice, I picked the curly potato wedges. The dipping sauce was so good as well. Great experience, would love to come back and try more beer. We also took home some 4-pack with us, including their special anniversary brew. Also, they had sufficient AC.

Friendly service. Casual atmosphere. Tasty food. Lots of options for beer drinkers. We were on our way to Mount Shasta and found this place as our stop for lunch. It was pretty full considering it was just a Monday afternoon so that's always a good sign. Plenty of TVs if you wanna catch a game, lots of bar seating and very open space for tables. Lots of options in the menu! Hubby ordered the special which was fish tacos and I got a southwest chicken sandwich with onion rings. The sandwich had all my favorite flavors and those onion rings were perfection. Not greasy, definite, onion flavor, not mushy. Yum! After tasting a few options, we landed on Your Mom's a Hazy IPA. Fun place to visit when in Redding.

Crazy Pills pilsner and red raspberry kombucha

We came here on a Sunday evening and it was pretty empty. The space is big so even when it is full, it will not feel cramped up. There is indoor and patio seating. We sat indoors. We ordered the Crazy Pills pilsner and the Red raspberry kombucha. We got an order of chicken wings with honey BBQ sauce to share. The pilsner was ok. The kombucha was excellent but from a can! If I can buy some of it online, I plan to. The wings were decent with lots of sauce and a well-cooked chicken. They had a baseball game on their monitors so we had fun grabbing drinks, eating and watching the game. Our server was friendly and prompt with suggestions. Good experience overall. They have a good list of beers and also some wines so there is a little something for everyone.

Stopped in on a road trip so was looking for a place to relax. Opted for the Jefferson Bacon burger with onion rings. The burger is thick and juicy and cooked perfectly. Brilee was our server and was perfect. I don't think I've ever seen a server with such a sense of urgency to make sure you had everything you needed. It was a very good choice for our break from the road. Would definitely recommend.

Fried fish tacos

Final Draft hits all the notes for me. - Extensive tap list with many varieties of beer. - Fish tacos are excellent; we had both grilled and fried. - Top tier service - Many seating options, including a very sittable bar - The only negative is the way too small restrooms given the capacity of the pub. Plan accordingly.

Can we make a reservation for a party of 20+?

Hi Amy, we don't take reservations, it's walk-in first come first served. We can take large parties, there may be a wait but you can always call ahead to see how long the wait time may be. Cheers!

Do you need a reservation to eat here?

No first come first served

Are there places nearby where we can park an RV?

There's a parking lot across the street not sure if this will help

Heard they had closed.? NO NO NO Thanks for the comments. Totally had the incorrect local brewery. So sorry for the confusion.

That was Wild Card Brewery.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

Or maybe they were the peppers/onions that go on the cheesesteak? We did a DoorDash for a work group and with all fees it was a $30 sandwich (menu price $23) but I trashed after 3 bites. I tried, because I do not like to waste, but I couldn't stomach that combo. The side salad was actually great so I ate that, but essentially, $30 for a side salad is no bueno.

Each one had its own unique character, but Mr. French really stood out for me. It's dog friendly (bonus points!), and I loved seeing pups hanging out around the yard. They also bring in food trucks, which is such a cool touch, you can grab your food outside and enjoy it inside or in the yard. The location is perfect too. We walked there from where we were staying, and it's close enough to downtown that you can keep the night going if you want to grab something else after. The parking lot is large as well if you're driving. Customer service was great, the bartender was friendly and helpful. There were a handful of people at the bar, but the restaurant itself was fairly quiet. When we first walked in, there was a pretty strong odor that smelled like a dirty mop. After we had been seated for a while, we either got used to it or it became less noticeable. We started with a couple of Moscow Mules and the queso and chips. The Moscow Mules had a nice presentation, but unfortunately, they were extremely bitter. I suspected it might have been the type of ginger beer they were using. When our server checked on us, I mentioned it, and he and the bartender both tasted the ginger beer themselves. They immediately agreed that it had a very bitter taste and wasn't good. Our server explained that they had recently switched to that brand. My recommendation would be to switch it out again because it really affected the drinks. The queso and chips were just okay. The queso was extremely watery and had almost a soupy consistency. The chips, however, were fresh, crisp, and tasted good. Our server was attentive and did a great job throughout our visit, which I appreciated. I didn't try any of the main courses, so I can't comment on the food beyond what we ordered. Overall, our experience was just okay. The service was good, but the odor, bitter Moscow Mules, and watery queso kept the visit from being anything particularly memorable.
