Nice spot for a couple of cocktails when we stopped thru town on a road trip. Tasty drinks at good prices!

Great backbar. And the bar itself is very comfortable. Apparently, this place has been a bar for 50 years.

Sometimes you walk into a bar that's new to you and just relax. This was one of those places for me. We sat at the beautiful bar to eat lunch. Our server/bartender Leah was so helpful and answered my (many) questions. Her go to is the tuna sandwich -- I can see why. My husband and I both had the delicious tuna sandwich, which comes on marbled rye (!!) with a side salad. Plenty of good food. And I want to be BFFs with Leah -- such a lovely and welcoming woman. I hope that you all will stop by on your way north.

This is a great downtown spot for a delicious lunch. The menu is new since about a year plus, but the food is still good. This French dip is one of the best I've had around town. The burgers were always good here although I haven't had one since the new menu came out, Our server was perfect.

A true little gem this place is and I highly recommend if your hungry for an Amazing Pastrami sandwich. Onion rings were golden crisp. Service was impeccable, cheers to Rosa!

I've been here multiple times. Their food is solid and their drinks are cold and tasty. Nice spot with a lot of tables and bar seats. Calamari is a little strange, it's strips not tentacles and circles. Like a sliced calamari steak. Always friendly service.

Great food and mostly friendly service - but terrible management. The manager is incredibly rude.

I'm a sucker for their Monte Cristo sandwich and my husband always gets their eggs. Their hash browns are perfectly crispy, and he likes their blackberry jam. Had the BEST Monte Cristo I have EVER had!…read more We're in Redding for the weekend and turned to Yelp to find a breakfast spot--so glad it led us to Trendy's! The reviews were spot on because Trendy's did NOT disappoint. I love a good Monte Cristo and have tried a lot of them, but this one is hands-down the best I've ever had. The ham and turkey tasted like something straight out of grandma's kitchen on a special holiday, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the bread-to-meat-to-cheese ratio was absolute perfection. The service was just as amazing--Alma, our waitress, suggested I try the mango jam with it. I was hesitant (I'm usually a berry jam girl), but WOW... it was so good I ended up taking some home! My husband ordered the BEN sandwich and said it was delicious. He also had the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which brought back sweet memories of his grandma making it for him in a little amber glass when he was younger. Portion sizes are generous, prices are fair, and parking was easy--which is always a win. If you're passing through or local to the area, make sure you stop by Trendy's for breakfast or brunch. There's a reason they have so many great reviews! *REVIEW UPDATE* It was so good the first time we went back today! My Husband had the steak tacos and said they were AMAZING! I have a sensitive tummy and sometimes finding a good mix of carbs and protein can be a challenge. I ordered just a scrambled egg and since the turkey in the Monte Cristo was so good I ordered turkey all by itself for an added little protein! Dipped it in their homemade jam of course! For my carbs I ordered a pancake. (Kind of apprehensive about that from a prior review I read...) that review was way off! If that pancake was from a box please let me know who makes it cause it was so fluffy and yummy! As we sat outside we saw many people come in and out and the employees greeted many of them by name! I almost wish I lived closer so I could be a regular too! Sorry no pics This time as we are before we thought about it!

There is plenty of parking, and a nice diner style ambience, with a very prompt and pleasant server. My son had the 1 lb Big Redwood Burger challenge , while my daughter had the sourdough burger, and their great aunt had the Roast Turkey dinner. I had the fish and chips. Most everything got eaten - 2 small take-out containers were taken home. My daughter started throwing up noon of the next day, no one else felt sick, so it may not be related, and her sickness lasted a little over 24 hours. Weird timing.

The caulking around the toilet is black and full of pee. The men's bathrooms were the same, but no soap. It's almost like they just don't clean. Service was good despite only one cook and two waitresses. One who went on break shortly after we arrived. The food was not so great. I ordered the appetizer platter. The onion rings tasted like beer, nothing else. Mozzarella sticks were cold. The sweet potato fries were soft and soggy. The chicken wrap met our lowered expectations. Definitely wasn't worth $75 (four meals). To sum it up, pass this one up and eat somewhere else.
