This has happened a few times and I've never complained but today was the worst. A friend (Aubrey) of the ppl working got in line and had long chats with multiple of them while I waited to put in an order, and then receive my drink. Got in line at 12:04. Ordered at 12:11. Still waiting at 12:16 for 1 drink. 5 cars have passed through the other lane while not even 1 car was in front of the employees friend. I got my drink at 12:24. This is insane and should not be acceptable. Next time have Aubrey get out and go to the window to visit. Some ppl have limited time on their breaks to get a drink. Is there a Dutch in Redding owned by different people to go to? I'd much prefer it over the MULTIPLE issues of the workers here putting their goofing off, personal conversations, and inappropriate music over their customers. read more

The drinks are fun and taste great. The service is always good. The bummer is I can't be a regular here because it has gotten soooo pricey. I Highly recommend the Sweet Sunrise Rebel with pomegranate drizzle. However, recently, I have discovered a new favorite thanks to my coworker who's a regular at the Churn Creek location. She always orders a "Double Torture, caramel in and out, with four extra shots of espresso." Turns out, if you ask for "The Amanda," they'll know exactly what to make! Just a heads-up: the regular version has 4 shots...this one has 8. I just have no idea what people see in Dutch Bros Coffee! I've tried it and don't like it, but there seems to be this cult following for them. All the little Dutch Bros coffee stands always seem to have a line of cars all lined up. Damn, it must take 20 minutes to get thru that line! But these people really like it, so I just don't get it. The coffee itself is what I don't like. It tastes like, well, chocolate mixed with coffee. Whatever it is, there's this weird taste to me that I can stand. I want my coffee to taste like coffee! Starbucks, Mister Corporate all over the place, tastes better to me, despite their business practices and take over the world tactics, I'll still drink their stuff over Dutch Bros. Well, got in line at the drive through and waited. The worker there was having a chat with the driver who was obviously a friend. I guess he gave his order. Then he pulled up to the window where two more workers chatted with him loudly about moving out of Redding, being ready for a new chapter and whatever else. He got his drinks and they continued chatting away about all kinds of topics no one else cares or has the time for. It took so long that I just had to drive right through because I just spent my morning coffee break listening to some so called employees catch up with an old friend instead of, you know, ordering my coffee and getting to work. I would give zero if I could!!! After waiting in line a very long time, behind a young man that obviously was friends or worked at Dutch, I gave a little honk to kinda get things going! A little girl came out I think she said her name was Kayla Mae/May and she was quite upset that I honked, so much so she turned in to the Rebel Nazi and said NO DRINK FOR YOU!!! She didn't ask why I honked or what was going on! Then the they went one step further and had their friend stay in line and talk a little longer!!! This store is adorably cute! The associates are super nice ! However I got Earl Grey tea there and I love Earl Grey. I got it with the honey only I could not taste any honey. two of my family members got a raspberry infused tea and she hated it! The other one got chi tea and loved it. As I said they were delightful in their attitudes but sucked smaking coffee. And the two hot teas were way too hot for your lips. Watch out or a lawsuit could happen. Remember that woman who sued McDonalds for too hot coffee and won big. I hope they lower the heat. If you get it there wait awhile to drink it until it cools down. I awoke at 5am the day after Thanksgiving at my hotel room in Redding with my mind racing full of all the things I wanted to do that day before heading back home to SJ. "First thing's first," I thought to myself. I needed coffee, ASAP. I looked at the pathetic excuse of a coffee maker they have in my hotel room and sneered at it. So I grabbed my phone and Yelped: coffee. I saw a couple of Indy shops and The Mermaid pop up on my screen. I don't have much love for The Mermaid, so I clicked on the first Indy shop and it didn't open until 7am! Really? 7am? By 7am I've done more things than most people accomplish all week. This would not do. Next on my list was Dutch Bros (DB) My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw: "Open 24/7" Is that for real? Is this a typo? I'd just have to see for myself. So, I threw on some clothes and hit the road. It was pretty close by where I was staying so I was there in less than 5-minutes. Sure enough the lights were on and there were a couple of other cars in what appeared to be a line. "It's open 24/7 AND it's a Drive-Thru?!? Surely this is madness!," I thought perplexedly. I then took my place in line; perused the menu; and when my turn came up I proceeded to order: 1) Large Double Chocolate Mocha (DCM) w/ an extra shot for me 2) Large Sugar-Free White Chocolate Mocha (WCM) for the wife 3) Small Dutch Cocoa (DC) for the boy. The girls working (God bless 'em!) were all super-friendly, very polite and (more importantly) brewed a mean cup o' coffee. They were having a blast rocking out to some Country music and had smiles for all the customers; you could tell they enjoyed their jobs and that was really good to see. The coffees and cocoa were all very good and I'd highly recommend any of them. My DCM was a regular (normally I order Sugar-Free, but I'm on vacation dammit!) so it was a bit sweeter than I'm accustomed to; luckily I ordered the extra shot of espresso in mine so it probably helped cut the sweetness. My wife really enjoyed her WCM; she thought it was perfect. The boy liked his DC, but what kid doesn't? Everything here was really good, but not spectacular. However, the location (right off the freeway); hours; drive-thru; and spectacular service is what really gives this place the 5-star bump. I hope DB managment reads this and relays this review to the crew that was working there on 11/29/13 @ 0530. They all deserve a raise. Kudos! read more

This was my first time having Dutch Bros since there aren't any near me in Los Angeles. We stopped by on Saturday around 8am and there were 2 cars ahead of us in the drive thru and the overall experience was really great. A young lady came out to us to take our orders on the ipad and she was really friendly and patient as we were deciding on what to order. As a customer unfamiliar with their menu from just looking at it it seems like there are only a few options which can be difficult/confusing for some. I only knew what I wanted to try because I had watched some YouTube videos and searched up "best drinks from dutch bros" on google. I ordered an Iced Double Rainbro (Strawberry, peach, coconut flavored Rebel) I thought it was super refreshing and the flavors complimented each other really well. We were on our way to our hike and the broista at the window suggested a couple other trails and things to do in the area which was really nice of him. Chill- even when my order is super complicated. Accurate- I've never had a mistake at any location. Happy- I would go there just for the upbeat vibes. Enthusiasm, energy, etc. You feel better when you leave than when you arrived. There are a TON of options. *Check the menu online before you get there if you want something interesting.* Venture out and try new things. The iced/frozen horchata chai is wonderful. So are many others. They don't make drip coffee; they use espresso, so you'll be getting an Americano if you order that. Sizes are larger than normal coffee shops- YAY.
