Dutch Bros Coffee - the front walk-up windowwweeee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Redding, California

This has happened a few times and I've never complained but today was the worst. A friend (Aubrey) of the ppl working got in line and had long chats with multiple of them while I waited to put in an order, and then receive my drink. Got in line at 12:04. Ordered at 12:11. Still waiting at 12:16 for 1 drink. 5 cars have passed through the other lane while not even 1 car was in front of the employees friend. I got my drink at 12:24. This is insane and should not be acceptable. Next time have Aubrey get out and go to the window to visit. Some ppl have limited time on their breaks to get a drink. Is there a Dutch in Redding owned by different people to go to? I'd much prefer it over the MULTIPLE issues of the workers here putting their goofing off, personal conversations, and inappropriate music over their customers. read more

The drinks are fun and taste great. The service is always good. The bummer is I can't be a regular here because it has gotten soooo pricey. I grew up in Redding and remember being able to walk to Dutch Bros after school at least twice a week to get a delicious drink. Now it just makes no sense to go there. I only go for my free birthday drink or if there is some sort of special happening. read more

Loved the convenient drive thru which was hassle free and quick. Checkout menu pics with review. In $15, we got: - kicker 5/5- blended freeze - loved the blended flavor and irish cream :) makes it taste yummy and wholesome. Medium was huge for me so next time i ll do small - coconut mocha 4/5 - iced - again huge and good flavor, i wish it was cooler in the beginning. Loved the flavors!! read more

Kaylee did such a great job at hitting all those 3 goals Dutch bros stands for, Speed- my drinks were made quickly! Quality- MY EXTRA THICK REBEL WAS SO THIC AND SOOO YUMMM!! Service- she was so sweet and really made us feel welcome. I hope she can make my drinks every time I come by, she was awesome!!! read more

This place is amazing! The staff treat you like a best friend rolling through. They're not just friendly, they're genuinely engaged in the conversation while you wait for your coffee or Rebel to come to the window. I Highly recommend the Sweet Sunrise Rebel with pomegranate drizzle. However, recently, I have discovered a new favorite thanks to my coworker who's a regular at the Churn Creek location. She always orders a "Double Torture, caramel in and out, with four extra shots of espresso." Turns out, if you ask for "The Amanda," they'll know exactly what to make! Just a heads-up: the regular version has 4 shots...this one has 8. It also has vanilla flavoring as well which makes it all the more delicious So please, for your heart's sake, sip it slowly throughout the day! read more

Cute little drive thru only coffee place. I always wanted to try this place and they have a large selection. The coffee was sweet but be warned, everything is in whole milk so specify what type of milk you required when ordering (my stomach did not have a good time since I am lactose intolerant). read more

White coffee. Still working out how to take it ('quarter-sweet' still makes a drink taste like cold stone to this NON-sugar-fiend, but I'll work it out. Yes, it tastes a little like acorns, or like how neroli smells, but its way more potent than regular coffee. The place/people are always so uplifting.. read more

1st time here we went to drive thru and just asked what is the best they would recommend and the lady gave us this drink called Passion Almond Blackberry drink.... OMGso yummy! First time trying Dutch Bros Coffee ever! I believe they don't have this in LA. I ordered cake batter frappe, shark attack and kicker. I was genuinely surprised that all the drinks tasted good. I thought there might be a hit and miss like other coffee shops. I went through a drive thru and the person taking the order was really nice. I would definitely stop by if I'm in the area again! read more

Great service. Always fast. I always leave with a smile from the whole crew. Music is always loud and good!!!

Went to the walk up window to buy a couple gift cards, was greeted but then was never served. They kept helping the drive thru... which is fine except they helped and served cars that arrived after me. I walked away never being helped. read more

Always a pleasant experience at Dutch Bros. A 24/7 drive through coffee shop with yummy drinks and a friendly staff. My personal favorite is the iced kicker which is an Irish crème breve. If I'm looking for something sweeter I'll get the iced cocomoco which is a coconut mocha. read more

So good! Better than Starbucks and on par with Peets. Definitely a larger menu of drinks than either but the flavor was so spot on. I am a new fan for Dutch Bros! read more

Ordered a cinnamon roll coffee here, expecting it to be sweet, only to find out it was blander than just drinking nothing. No sugar, no bits, bitter creamer. Other coffees were also bitter, staff clueless, will not be coming again. Do not go to this Dutch. read more

I just have no idea what people see in Dutch Bros Coffee! I've tried it and don't like it, but there seems to be this cult following for them. All the little Dutch Bros coffee stands always seem to have a line of cars all lined up. Damn, it must take 20 minutes to get thru that line! But these people really like it, so I just don't get it. The coffee itself is what I don't like. It tastes like, well, chocolate mixed with coffee. Whatever it is, there's this weird taste to me that I can stand. I want my coffee to taste like coffee! Starbucks, Mister Corporate all over the place, tastes better to me, despite their business practices and take over the world tactics, I'll still drink their stuff over Dutch Bros. Like I said, there wouldn't be these long lines if people didn't love it, but just not for me. read more

My first Dutch Brother experience and it was terrific! I love the efficiency of the dual drive-thru. The enthusiasm of the staff is contagious! Plus my coffee drink - a banana bread latte - was superb. I can't wait for my next visit to a Dutch Brothers! Well, got in line at the drive through and waited. The worker there was having a chat with the driver who was obviously a friend. I guess he gave his order. Then he pulled up to the window where two more workers chatted with him loudly about moving out of Redding, being ready for a new chapter and whatever else. He got his drinks and they continued chatting away about all kinds of topics no one else cares or has the time for. It took so long that I just had to drive right through because I just spent my morning coffee break listening to some so called employees catch up with an old friend instead of, you know, ordering my coffee and getting to work. Absolutely not worth the lost time and brain cells. read more

I would give zero if I could!!! After waiting in line a very long time, behind a young man that obviously was friends or worked at Dutch, I gave a little honk to kinda get things going! A little girl came out I think she said her name was Kayla Mae/May and she was quite upset that I honked, so much so she turned in to the Rebel Nazi and said NO DRINK FOR YOU!!! She didn't ask why I honked or what was going on! Then the they went one step further and had their friend stay in line and talk a little longer!!! To make sure I learned my lesson on honking in line at Dutch!!! While making me wait there where two cars behind me!!! The manager was quite unprofessional calling me bro several times and telling me how uncool it is to honk in line at Dutch Bros!!! read more

I awoke at 5am the day after Thanksgiving at my hotel room in Redding with my mind racing full of all the things I wanted to do that day before heading back home to SJ. "First thing's first," I thought to myself. I needed coffee, ASAP. I looked at the pathetic excuse of a coffee maker they have in my hotel room and sneered at it. So I grabbed my phone and Yelped: coffee. I saw a couple of Indy shops and The Mermaid pop up on my screen. I don't have much love for The Mermaid, so I clicked on the first Indy shop and it didn't open until 7am! Really? 7am? By 7am I've done more things than most people accomplish all week. This would not do. Next on my list was Dutch Bros (DB) My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw: "Open 24/7" Is that for real? Is this a typo? I'd just have to see for myself. So, I threw on some clothes and hit the road. It was pretty close by where I was staying so I was there in less than 5-minutes. Sure enough the lights were on and there were a couple of other cars in what appeared to be a line. "It's open 24/7 AND it's a Drive-Thru?!? Surely this is madness!," I thought perplexedly. I then took my place in line; perused the menu; and when my turn came up I proceeded to order: 1) Large Double Chocolate Mocha (DCM) w/ an extra shot for me 2) Large Sugar-Free White Chocolate Mocha (WCM) for the wife 3) Small Dutch Cocoa (DC) for the boy. The girls working (God bless 'em!) were all super-friendly, very polite and (more importantly) brewed a mean cup o' coffee. They were having a blast rocking out to some Country music and had smiles for all the customers; you could tell they enjoyed their jobs and that was really good to see. The coffees and cocoa were all very good and I'd highly recommend any of them. My DCM was a regular (normally I order Sugar-Free, but I'm on vacation dammit!) so it was a bit sweeter than I'm accustomed to; luckily I ordered the extra shot of espresso in mine so it probably helped cut the sweetness. My wife really enjoyed her WCM; she thought it was perfect. The boy liked his DC, but what kid doesn't? Everything here was really good, but not spectacular. However, the location (right off the freeway); hours; drive-thru; and spectacular service is what really gives this place the 5-star bump. I hope DB managment reads this and relays this review to the crew that was working there on 11/29/13 @ 0530. They all deserve a raise. Kudos! read more

Love this location I go here every time there fast and friendly and they make the drinks good and love to chat

This store is adorably cute! The associates are super nice ! However I got Earl Grey tea there and I love Earl Grey. I got it with the honey only I could not taste any honey. two of my family members got a raspberry infused tea and she hated it! The other one got chi tea and loved it. As I said they were delightful in their attitudes but sucked smaking coffee. And the two hot teas were way too hot for your lips. Watch out or a lawsuit could happen. Remember that woman who sued McDonalds for too hot coffee and won big. I hope they lower the heat. If you get it there wait awhile to drink it until it cools down. I am updating my review and giving them a 5 star. To me if a business contacts a customer and wants to find out what happened and correct it to me that's a 5 star business! And Chris still having trouble pming you back. Thank you read more

This was my first time having Dutch Bros since there aren't any near me in Los Angeles. We stopped by on Saturday around 8am and there were 2 cars ahead of us in the drive thru and the overall experience was really great. A young lady came out to us to take our orders on the ipad and she was really friendly and patient as we were deciding on what to order. As a customer unfamiliar with their menu from just looking at it it seems like there are only a few options which can be difficult/confusing for some. I only knew what I wanted to try because I had watched some YouTube videos and searched up "best drinks from dutch bros" on google. I ordered an Iced Double Rainbro (Strawberry, peach, coconut flavored Rebel) I thought it was super refreshing and the flavors complimented each other really well. We were on our way to our hike and the broista at the window suggested a couple other trails and things to do in the area which was really nice of him. We got our drinks super quick and we went on our way. I will definitely stop by at this Dutch Bros if I am ever in the area again. read more

Dutch bros is delicious, and not just their coffee! Their smoothies are the best and their Italian sodas are my personal favorite. The prices are great and the staff is always very friendly. If you are in the north state then you should definitely give this place a try. In regards to a previous review about the "loud music" and the staff, that is supposed to be a part of the experience. Perhaps this just wasn't the place for you. Also, they have kid drinks that are not only kid size (which is apparently hard to find these days) but they come in kid cups that have great lids, for all you parents out there. :) Free WiFi too. read more

Dutch Bros never disappoints! Good coffee and great staff! The long lines in drive thru are a bit long, but goes very fast!

The review for this location could probably be copied and pasted on any Dutch Bros page. Because...consistency. Fast- even with never-ending drive-through lines. Chill- even when my order is super complicated. Accurate- I've never had a mistake at any location. Happy- I would go there just for the upbeat vibes. Enthusiasm, energy, etc. You feel better when you leave than when you arrived. There are a TON of options. *Check the menu online before you get there if you want something interesting.* Venture out and try new things. The iced/frozen horchata chai is wonderful. So are many others. They don't make drip coffee; they use espresso, so you'll be getting an Americano if you order that. Sizes are larger than normal coffee shops- YAY. I do not frequent chains, so I didn't want to love this place. Yet, here I am. read more
