I visited Starbucks in this area for the first time and had a really good experience. I ordered an oat milk cortado, and it was very tasty and delicious--definitely a great choice. I usually order a cortado at Starbucks, and sometimes the taste isn't perfect, but here it was surprisingly perfect. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The interior is also pretty nice--cozy and comfortable, a good place to relax. The workers were too busy playing on their phones at the window to acknowledge me, and were rude when I didn't leave a tip and when asking for a straw, she basically threw it in my car. I ordered a large hot chai and got steamed milk with no chai in it, and a lavender cream matcha but they didn't put any lavender cream on it. here's a tip because you were upset you didn't get a monetary one, work on your customer service and you'll be more likely to get tips. read more

When I'm passing through on the 5 here in Redding and need a quick pick me up of Starbucks, this is a good spot. It's just off the freeway and easy on and off. I usually don't do the drive thru as going in a just getting a cup of coffee is faster most of the time. No fancy poo poo drinks for me , just black coffee. If I need I can be inside and use the WiFi connection to check email or whatever. Service never has been a prob, maybe just cause I order just plain coffee. I will say that stuff comes out HOT! They do have a selection of packaged foods here if you need a little sustenance. Good place to stop and use the restrooms if you need. read more

This is a decent Starbucks for the area, however it is located directly across from the water park, so it can get rather busy. The staff is friendly and the store is always clean. If you're looking for a bathroom stop, there are better. It wouldn't stop me if I was desperate in the sense that my skin wasn't crawling. However, it was gross enough to make you somewhat wary of making yourself more comfortable. We found this location as part of a series of stops on our road trip for the solar eclipse. When we arrived at 8:45 Saturday morning, they seemed slammed! People lined up almost to the door, and the drive through line blocking parts of the parking lot. In spite of that, the staff was friendly and briskly serving up the food and coffee with a smile. Aside from having to do a bit of impromptu traffic cop imitation to get out of our parking stall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable stop. However, here at Lake Blvd, the entire crew, ALL OF THEM, are the friendliest and funniest team ever! Fast service even if there's a line. Sometimes I place my order online from the parking lot and my items are ready lightening fast! We passed through on our way up to Oregon and once more on the way back and I am thrilled to say, the service both times were awesome! VERY friendly despite the 110 degree temps. The WiFi here is GREAT. Plenty of seating. I don't generally like Starbucks coffee BUT I needed the WiFi They have a lot of indoor seating and the staff is very friendly. BUT like what tends to happen at Starbucks.... They just cant get your drink right. Not even a simple drink. I paid over 4 fluffin dollars for a LARGE ice coffee with a shot of Espresso...... We come here often as a stop to and or from Shasta college and the line is always long BUT the staff is quick and efficient!! Normally I wouldn't rate Starbucks because... c'mon, it's a Starbucks. But I'm sitting here right now sipping a drink doing some work... and I'm realizing I may have to pack up and go home. A. The internet is slow. SLOOOOW. So slow that I tried to watch a youtube video and it keeps freezing to load. Let me repeat that.... it won't load a YOUTUBE video, it stops every 5 seconds to load for about 5 seconds. Out of curiosity I tried Hulu as well, same problem (but much worse) B. It's FREEZING in here. I don't get cold very often, but I had to go outside to my car to get a hoodie, everyone sitting around me is wearing winter clothes inside as well and it's almost June. C. This location is almost always really full, the tables with plugs near them for computers are almost always taken, and I sat for fifteen minutes until one opened up. If we're in the middle of the school year, you can forget about it altogether. The upside is that the people working here are ALWAYS incredibly friendly, and I've never been to this Starbucks without seeing at least three people I know. That being said.... if it stays this cold, and they don't fix their internet, I'm going to have to find another coffee shop. read more

I am happy with each experience I've had with this location. I've been through the drive-thru several times and haven't had long wait times. And I'd notice if there were, I drive a 1976 Cobra Mustang that tends to over-heat if I idle for too long! During the holiday season this year, I enjoyed the Carmel Brulee Latte and I was just having coffee yesterday, they made me the "seasonal" beverage! I was so happy they did it. This Starbucks is super hit or miss on getting drinks right- though mostly miss! They almost consistently make my drink wrong and I have to ask for it to be corrected. Today I asked them to make sure they did it right. They insisted that they had, and by the time I had the opportunity to try it and taste that it was in fact made wrong, I was already away from the store. I called in to see how the situation could be rectified and instead of hearing me they chose to argue with me, the customer, saying they made the drink right, and I just can't taste it.
