He was getting gas at the Chevron in the same lot and I went here for a quick drink. My drink was made fast and to my liking. I come here all the time to get coffee since it's by my house but this place always finds a way to screw up my order. They either forget an item or give me the wrong drink. Almost every time I've come here they've forgotten to give me my bottle of water that I bought or got my order wrong. It's walking distance from my studio - so when I get that urge for a latte and want to take a stroll down the street, you'll find me here. The customer service here has always been great, but sometimes can be a little slow when there's a long line at the drive thru. On a sunny day, sitting in the patio area is nice, but the only drawback is that smokers like to hang out there also. I'm unable to relax and enjoy my cup of coffee while inhaling second hand smoke - so, I often choose to plant myself in the sitting area where there's tables and comfortable seats to work on your laptop or chat with a friend. I actually checked out 2 other drive thru's for the last 2 months before I wrote this review, because this place has no negative reviews. how can that be? It's on my way to work, and for a few years i've been going to it; at first, no problems. Lately, however, it's been atrocious. There's one particular lady working in the morning who's such a .. pill that I thought for sure she'd be fired by now but no, as of this last week, she's still there. Rude, long long waits, no apologies for the crappy attitude at the window, and they've been understaffed for a few months now and it shows. The icing on the cake though, is the fact that I get grande lattes that are half milk, half foam. When I finally made a comment about it, they told me to "next time, ask for no foam". Maybe i'm just having bad mornings, but to me, "no foam" means "on the cup of coffee i make and fill 98% full, i won't add that one spoon full of foam". Filling a cup with half milk half foam results from pouring the milk as soon as it's foamed - no time to rest at all. For $3.20, I expect a grande, not a tall. Blah. For the last 8 months this location has been horrible. Check out McCarthy Ranch further down the line - you have to walk in but it's generally not crowded in the morning and better service. read more

I stop at this drive-thru when I drive my car to work and lately it's just awful. They completely changed thier food menu and nothing is the same. No more lowfat cinnamon coffee cake, etc. I tried a carrot muffin this morning and it was super greasy and raw in the middle. Then a damn hair in my last bite. A good 1 inch blonde effing hair!!! One of my favorite Starbucks - the epitome of coffee convenience. The drive-thru is pretty awesome, but there can be a wait. (Note: I only come here on the weekends in the morning time.) I'm usually driving on 880N and take the Dixon Landing exit. The trick is to just glance at the drive-thru as you pass by. If there's more than 2 cars, don't bother going into the drive-thru. The line can be a bit of a wait and then you feel sort of silly/lazy for not just parking and walking inside. The times when there's been a line at the drive-thru, I just walk into the shop and it's usually pretty empty so the service inside can be pretty quick as well. I've never actually sat down at this particular Starbucks, but there are plenty of seats available to do so. The Starbucks drive through is one of the greatest inventions on this planet. This is especially true in situations where you have a baby strapped in a carseat in the back of the car. You can either unstrap the baby and go into the store and buy a $2 cup of coffee. Or you can just drive up into the drive through and make your order. The order is ready fairly quickly and there is often no wait. Yesterday was very unusual. I stopped off for a quick refresher and was so surprised to have waited at least 10 minutes in the drive through. OK 10 minutes isn't that long, but can be an eternity when there is a bab in the back seat on the verge of screaming her head off. If you're a frequent Starbucks goer, you must know that some locations don't provide the warm food options. The employees here are soooo nice! The service has exponentially improved from the already great service. Even though this location has a drive thru, I usually end up going inside to avoid the line of cars. The wait ends up taking longer than actually going inside. However, when there are 2 cars or less I'll go the drive thru route. The best time so far from order to receipt of beverage has been 3 minutes. Best (car) door to door time when going inside to order has been 4.5 minutes. Pretty awesome during the morning rush! The employees are always smiling and energetic which is pretty amazing considering some of them have already been working for 4-5hrs by the time I get in the morning. The other day they had a mishap with at the bar which caused a bit of a fiasco with the beverages and wait. 2 days later I return for my usual morning beverage and it's on the house. This night, I met the most friendly, accomdating and best looking servers, managers, and Coffee barista. One of the cute girl who looks like the boss lady, she was very nice and kind even tho I didn't know...drive through is open till 10pm but the lobby closes at 930pm. She allowed me to finish up my work-in progress, kindly reminded me they needed to close but respectful let me know.
