T L ; D R This is a review of a delivery. Reshu, the owner, currently only offers pick up, delivery, or catering. Whether you're looking to host a casual gathering or a soiree, I would recommend oh Chai! I'd love if oh Chai! had a physical location to enjoy smaller orders of tea and small bites at. + Their menu is vegetarian. + You can order a la carte (minimum of 12 servings) or in packages (25-100 servings) directly from their website, https://www.ohchai.com/menu T E A There are 3 Indian teas or hot cocoa to choose from. The minimum order is for 12 servings which IIRC is about 24 cups? We ordered the following: + Cardamom tea: I typically don't like cardamom tea at the restaurants, because the cardamom flavor is too strong. I was surprised I really enjoyed this. I must have had some 8 cups of this. I was very caffeinated! + Masala tea F O O D There's a large curation of food including sandwiches, savory pastries, cakes, and Indian desserts. Similarly, it's only for a large order. It would be awesome too if they had chaat sandwiches like pav bhaji or dabeli. Sandwiches: Available in 12 or 18. + Roasted pepper and pesto sandwiches: roasted red peppers, basil pesto, and pepperjack cheese + Cheese and fig preserve sandwiches: goat cheese, pecans, and figs Savory Pastry: Available in 12 or 18. +++ Samosa pinwheels: croissant-like pinwheels with spiced potatoes and caramelized onions. These were the most popular and immediately devoured. In retrospect, I wish we had gotten 2 orders of these! Cake: Available in 12 squares or an 8" round cake. The consistency of the cakes were my only complaint. + Cardamom and rose: Loved the flavor of cardamom and rose infused in the cake. The birthday boy usually pushes all the cream and frosting from the cake into the trash, so I figured I should try cakes without them. Although the description said it would be a moist cake, it was unfortunately dry and turned into a glue-like consistency in the mouth. It was difficult to eat without chasing it with tea. + Nutty walnut: Same as the cardamom and rose cake, it had great flavor but lacking in moisture. S E R V I C E + I initially had an issue placing an order online due to Reshu's calendar window being off as she was going to be out of town. She was quick to resolve the issue within a few minutes after I called her. + Easy confirmation by text the day before. + Punctual within the requested 30 minute delivery window. Both Reshu and the delivery person were professional. Everything was hand delivered to our front door. + Presentation and sustainability: The paper plates were sturdy and paper cups provided had the logo on them. The teas were in insulated bags in a cardboard dispenser which were easy to use. The sandwiches were neatly arranged in a box with cute little bamboo tongs. * FYI they offer a high tea set up (including 3-tier and party trays, flowers, table cloths, and airpots) for an extra $45-140 depending on the size of your package, and you'd be responsible for returning their items within 48 hours. This isn't available for a la carte. We only had 15 people, so the smallest package would have been too much for us. Thank you, Reshu and your delivery person for making this birthday a tea-riffic experience!

11 star service. We catered food from Reshu for our Diwali crafts party and had a great experience. Reshu helped us from the very beginning to choose and customize a package for our party. It is rare to find good chai outside and both ginger and cardamom chai were wonderful (my mom took 3 servings when she is very picky with her chai). Bite size sandwiches worked great for the party to eat on the go without any messiness. Both rose/cardamom and lemon cake were a hit, I'm still craving for more. Reshu also helped in setting up our table and was extremely supportive when we were having some issues with the timing of our event. Love finding a local gem, women owned small business!

The four types of sanwhiches I ordered: Pesto and red bell pepper, egg and avocado salad, goat cheese and fig preserves and cucumber.

Hi there, is there seating area for tea inside the store or just a take out place?

It’s a catering business for now (delivery or take out). No seating yet!

Are there vegan options for chai and food?

Yes there are vegan options. Milk can be replaced by oat milk and cheese can be replaced by vegan cheese. Cakes can be made with no-eggs. All on demand.

They have coffee and pastries you will not find anywhere else in Fremont and remind me of some of the "Little Arabia" neighborhoods you normally only find in LA on the West Coast. Mufawar Coffee : Before cappuccinos and lattes, there was Mufawar. Born in Yemen's highlands, this creamy, cardamom-infused coffee made my morning, I loved being able to choose the sweetness level. Bee Bites: Sliced like a pie, covered in honey, delicious pastry with cheese inside. The kids loved this and debated over who got the last piece. Fatayer: I've had the chicken, beef, and spinach & feta and all were excellent. It's snack-sized and not too big and actually a perfect size for me to pair with their excellent coffee. Musakhan Chicken Roll: Chicken, olive oil, onion, spices. Again, I might be in the minority but I like snack sized food and not too big. I split this in half as a 2 snacks and it was excellent. Za'atar and cheese croissant: Za'atar is one of my favorite spice combos and Ioved it on this croissant, I reheated this in a toaster oven at 350 degrees at home and it was excellent! Frozen Blend: Pineapple Mango: Comes in a very cool glass and the kids destroyed this, they loved it so much!

Finally got around to trying the new Yemeni cafe in Fremont! The interior is literally gigantic,…read morenot sure if there's free wifi but this would definitely be the most perfect / aesthetic space to get some studying done in. I'm a huge fan of really strong coffee flavor / pistachio lattes, so I definitely had high expectations going in. The prices are pretty steep for lattes - with specialties at $8-9 a latte, so hopefully they're making their syrups in house... not sure, but definitely wish I asked! As it's a Monday afternoon in the middle of the work day, there was no line at all & the drinks came out pretty quickly. We ordered the biscoff and pistachio latte -- from first glance, they were suuuper milky, which sounds silly because duh, lattes are majority milk, but it really dilutes the taste of the espresso & makes the drink mainly taste like sweet syrup. Unfortunately, these drinks are not very strong at all :/. I'm sure you can customize your drinks, but as they come, they are extremely sweet! The initial sip of the biscoff latte tastes the most like its name sake, but after a while, it just tastes like your run of the mill vanilla latte. The pistachio latte on the other hand has a slight pistachio / floral taste to it, but it really doesn't have all that strong of a taste to it either. Overall, I wouldn't say that the lattes are bad, but they're just alright, especially for what you pay for. I think if I returned, it would be to try a couple of the huge assortment of cakes they offer, but probably not for the drinks -- but def recommend trying it for yourself, as always!

This is their phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee and jasmine matcha tea. I had never seen this combination before. They're all things I love, so I was very intrigued. The L.A.C was delicious. The jasmine was very fragrant and forward, which I really liked. The coffee, jasmine, and matcha blended well together and created a nice and tasty drink. It was enjoyable and I would definitely order it again.

The parking lot was completely full, so you have to be patient with finding a parking spot. It was pretty crowded and because of that, everyone had to self order. Throughout my time there, lots of customers came through, but I received my drink relatively quickly. As for the drink itself, the house mocha was okay, but I'm glad that I was able to try the Hojicha cream! The mocha + Hojicha cream was an interesting combination, but I think I would try their Hojicha Latte the next time I go. They have matcha, Hojicha, and seasonal offerings as well (like their banana cream!). There is a single bathroom (with code), WiFi (spotty sometimes but I was still able to get what I needed done), and a decent amount of seating (depending on time you go) with available outlets. I worked there from 12 to almost closing, and was able to get the table near the window + an outlet! I was truly sat. Overall, I would come again to try a different drink and hope to snag a table to work! If you're able to get a good spot to sit, it's a solid place to be productive. Thanks Lac Coffee!
