This business could benefit from added transparency around macro calculations to build customer trust and retain customers. We have experienced receiving less food than advertised on multiple occasions. Best way to contact is to text directly. Full review below - We have been customers of Aspire for a couple months now. We are busy professionals and were looking to outsource our meals because we just didn't have the time to cook healthy meals at home, and relying on takeout was not only a more unhealthy option but also a more expensive one. The taste of the meal preps is 10/10. We haven't been disappointed by any of the flavors or ingredient combinations that we've gotten. Customer service is also really good, quick to reply, answer any questions we have or resolve any issues. They also text us every week to remind us to order if needed, along with their menu for their week. Unfortunately, their website does not get updated regularly with their rotating menu and the best way to get this information is to text them directly. It's also nice that they deliver every Sunday so you have the peace of mind that your meals are ready for the week. They also have promotions for first time customers who are just looking to try their products. While all of the above is great, I don't think we will continue with Aspire because of the lack of transparency around their meal portions and how their macros are calculated. We have opted for the 4oz meals, which Aspire claims to have 3-4oz of protein in each meal. 3-4 oz is what I would normally portion out per meal when cooking for myself so I'm well aware of what that looks like. After I started ordering meals from Aspire, I noticed myself being unusually hungrier than normal, which led me to start weighing out the amount of protein I'm actually getting in each meal, and on multiple occasions, the weight of the protein given doesn't seem to add up to the macro calculations on the label. For example, their 4 oz Shrimp meals claim to have 28g of protein, however, my meal had 3.1 oz of shrimp, which after reviewing multiple sources, doesn't seem to be anywhere near 28g of protein (see photos). Sure, the total protein amount could also be including the protein from the carbs, veggies, or sauces they use (which I imagine would be minimal), but even if that were the case, this is an example of why I feel like the business could benefit from more transparency. It not only helps me trust I'm actually getting what i'm paying for, but also helps me make sure I'm meeting my daily nutrition goals and staying educated as a customer. I don't think it should be my responsibility as a consumer to double check the amount of protein I'm being given at each meal and to do some quick math to ensure the weight of the protein matches the label on the package. I feel frustrated, disappointed, and taken advantage of as a customer because I have experienced on more than one occasion being given less protein than what is advertised. We have notified Aspire of the discrepancies when they happen and we get comp'd meals as an apology and promises to better communicate expectations with their team, but I feel like there could be instances where this happens to people who don't weigh out their food and blindly trust they get what they have paid for, and that's unfair to them. If Aspire finds a way to rectify these issues we've experienced with their products and add more transparency to their nutrition information, we might reconsider purchasing from them again in the future, but for now, we don't think we can continue being customers. read more

I was hesitant when my husband suggested Aspire Meal Preps after our honeymoon. We had binged on tons of delicious food and coming from meal delivery services like Sakara Life & Methodology I wasn't sure if i'd be content with pre-portioned out proteins, a grain, and a vegetable. We received our delivery and each meal had brown rice, a portion of protein (chicken, salmon, beef, or shrimp), and a veggie (usually broccoli or spinach), and a sauce (sauces varied). I was surprised when we actually started eating our meals how delicious simple, well sourced, nutritious food could be. As someone who loves eating out & trying new flavors I was worried this would be too bland for me. It definitely wasn't! Each meal had a good amount of flavor thanks to the sauce or the preparation of the proteins and veggies (as someone else mentioned in a previous review the proteins and veggies are juicy/tasty not dry which is often an issue). On top of that most meals hovered around 300-400 calories and kept you filled. My favorite proteins would definitely be the salmon and shrimp! Followed by beef, and lastly chicken. We're already looking at placing an order for next week because this is really convenient, we appreciate that it's a local business, and this is way healthier than anything we prepare at home (we usually don't buy organic or wild proteins because it's pretty pricey but Aspire is reasonably priced). read more

So I'm not a huge meal prep guy but I have tried a few as my life can be extremely busy and cooking a meal is not an option. The trend I saw with the ones I have tried in the past was the food was often bland and the protein dried out when I reheated the meal. Not the ideal situation for the money I had paid. So I was a little hesitant in trying another meal prep but I can't starve either because of a busy schedule. So I heard about Aspire and decided to try it out. I was pleasantly pleased and totally caught off guard on how good the meals were. You get the perfect amount of food to get rid of any hunger sensations you have. Also there was no absence of flavor as each meal packed it's own punch. The different regional flavors were nice and not just the plain jane flavors you get from other meal preps. The different sauce accents that come with certain meals really elevates the experience. I really enjoyed that after you reheated your meal that the veggies still had snap to them and weren't soggy and that the proteins still retained their juices....and the wild rice was a perfect al-dente. I took on Aspire because of a busy schedule but it being a healthy alternative you can also match it to any workout regiment you may have. I will definitely recommend them to my co-workers and friends who are either too busy with life or just trying to change their eating habits to something a bit healthier.
