I've been eating Jillbee's catering through my employer for just over a year now, almost 5 days a week. They're amazing! We have a weekly calendar put in the lunch room so we can see the 3 or 4 lunch/dinner options in advance to plan accordingly. Generally, there's a vegetarian salad or entree option and two main courses that entail meat. Their rotation is generous enough with enough dynamic meal options that I still haven't become wary of their menu selections. I love that the toppings and sides (such as different cheeses, dressings, sauces, mayonnaise, dipping sauce) are housed in their own individual containers, which really lets me pick and choose what I want to use or what I want to offer to someone else without it being contaminated. The food is always fresh, sometimes gourmet, sometimes home style. I can't count the number of times I've goofily sent pictures of the food to friends only to have them respond with their envy. Never thought I'd be writing a review about a catering service, but they deserve it. read more

I can't believe it! They've improved so much! Did they hire a new chef? Lunches have become increasingly better and tastier. Each time I wonder what could have these people invented again! Jillbees' food was decent but the workers they sent to the Netflix campus in Los Gatos were horrendous, especially an older Hispanic guy named Sal and a middle aged Hispanic woman named Rosario. Felt unsafe around them and they both were bullying their fellow coworkers within earshot of me and other people in building F. One of the employees, an African American woman, told me that this company hires 95% illegal immigrants from Mexico and South America, who barely speak any English at all and who are here and working in the US illegally, probably and presumably to save money and pay them a reduced wage, which has been my feeling and observation as well. read more

I was introduced to Jill, owner of JillBee Delivers, at a Stratford Schools event a few years ago and I have to say I love her catering. She has multiple healthy options that is served specifically during the lunch hour at reasonable prices. JillBee is one of the few catering services that I have ran into in the South Bay that works with business campuses and meeting venues specifically for salads. They have a variety of salads and sandwiches that are inspired by typically much larger meals. One of my favorite is the California Roll Salad, it is SUPERB! I have eaten so many JillBee's meals and feel like Oprah every time I open up one of those deluxe snack packs or salads. Their food is always incredibly fresh and they take the guesswork out of working full-time and eating healthy, nutritious meals on the go. It really does feel like Oprah's chef and nutritionist are preparing meals and snacks for me while at work. They always go above and beyond and offer multiple delicious options and seem to really cater to lots of different special requests. The food is awesome! I'm not a big veggie eater and have always thought of salads as just lettuce, maybe some chicken, and the occasional dressing. Not anymore - JillBee's salads are so great, always something new and unique. Great sandwiches too! To the reviewers who felt that salads and sandwiches were a bit boring - well, I know lots of chains that do quite well with just that business model! I too can get a bit tired of salads all the time, and when that happens - I get something else. 9 times out of 10 though, I'm going to be happy with JillBee's salads, and feel so much better for it. We are kinda stuck with Jillbee unless we leave campus. After a while everything you love can be "ehh." I like their food. It's hit and miss like all large volume production. Some things are super good, like a few of the sandwiches. Others pfft. Salads are always fresh. No wilted lettuce and skimping on the digs and dressing. Watch out, on the veg dishes, stray meats appear. Quality control not always there. The baked goods are the same. It's hit and miss. They have a weird aftertaste, they are frozen, undercooked and taste like from a cheap bakery. Not delicious and buttery like Panera cookies. The cupcakes which are new are rubbery. Frosting tasted so/so. We had high hopes. Why not get FROST cupcakes? The breakfast items are paste -y and gummy not yummy. I make a better cinnamon (hard) and scone (dry) out of a tube. Get a new breakfast chef. Scones are way too small, and need to be freshly made not this frozen baked stuff. Costco has great croissants. Hint. Make sure meat doesn't end up in Pajdals veg salad. The cookie is SO BOMB and you can really taste the love that was put in the cookies. I had one and didn't stop at one because there is no such thing as self control when you come into contact with these bad boys. The salads are seriously insane. Imagine layers upon layers of flavor. Salads aren't just filler greens here, it's substantial meats and fixings that your lazy self would never put together so thank Jill for making it easy on you. I heard that Jill has brought on an empanada person doing straight up empanadas! My mouth is salivating with the thought alone. I get Jillbees catered everyday through my current employer. Can I just say, I haven't had a single item I don't like - And I can be quite picky. The people who handle our deliveries are always sweet and on time! I'm pretty amazed with the things we get delivered, all freshly made, healthy and delicious. Just last week we had Lox & bagels delivered, I don't know why but that just totally blew my mind. Dishes are always garnished nicely and in the perfect sized container with the cute Jillbee logo and ingredients listed. I also really appreciate that they list the estimated microwave time on there, so we can be sure to reheat to perfection. Love Jillbees! Thank you so much for a great company to trust in! This girl does deliver! In every respect she creates food with creativity and in a timely manner and she comes to you for a few dollars more! Our company could not do it without her.We aren't the Netflix contract driving her commitment to create 450 interesting lunches a day , but she never misses us in the mix! We never feel like there are generic meals, its exciting and clean eating. She has everything on the side for personal finishing and she's online, so you can order your meals fresh everyday according to her weekly menu which she changes up all the time. I've only ordered from JillBee's a few times but every time is was AWESOME!! There food is SUPER FRESH you can taste the difference. I've been in the kitchen before and am really impressed with the cleanliness and environment that the staff work in. Jillbee does great catering and lunch delivery. We use them all the time. Biggest hits from her current menu at our offices are the Salmon Nicoise Salad, Thai Chicken Salad and the Tri Tip Sandwich (my personal favorite since it comes with a blue cheese spread). The ingredients are always fresh and the sandwiches come with fresh fruit which is so much better for you than a bag of chips!! Highly recommend her if you need boxed lunches. read more

I was unfortunate enough to eat the food from here. First time was a generic sandwich which was not bad except for the fact I got sick afterward. Second time I had a wrap and it was so salty that I simply could not even swallow it and had to spit out my bite. (Which I might add, I NEVER EVER spit food out) I dont know how you screw up simple dishes like the wrap and sandwich but Im avoiding Jillbee's from now on and I suggest you do the same. read more

I recently joined a company that gets their meals everyday from jillbee's. The food is Ok if you don't have to eat it everyday. But since I do, I really have to complain about one thing. The chicken really sucks. It is always dry and always looks and tastes the same. It looks like a piece of pre-cooked frozen chicken that they thaw out and pour sauce over it and call it done. Not matter what dish they try to turn it into, you can't deny that it looks and tastes the same. I really appreciate the variations that they try come up with, but please try harder with the chicken. There are other parts to a chicken too, like the wings, legs, and thighs that you can cook IN the sauce for different flavors. Please stop serving frozen pre-cooked chicken breast with sauce poured over it and then giving it different names. I can get those at fast food places. they are called nuggets and they taste much better. And there, they don't claim their nuggets are called some gourmet name when you dip it into their many many sauces. read more

I get my lunches free and to me, free is always good. But boy, when I found out how much my lunches cost, my satisfaction went down dramatically. The meat is bland and always has the same cut and taste. It's precooked with basically no marinate. The rice is always dry. And the naan tastes like white bread. Also, there's just too much salad options that taste the same. So Jillbee has actually improved quite a bit since I've started eating them. They show great potential by trying to get better. I just hope they get better more quickly. The Indian food has become less bland. The Chinese food is actually outsourced to a Chinese restaurant so it definitely taste better. The bread is set aside but more bread options will be appreciated for sure. All the bread is very bland. Wish they serve French bread or gluten free bread. They're also serving more sushi. It will be great if the sushi has more different fish. It seems the only fishes Jillbee has access to is tuna for sushi, and salmon for baking. The size of salmon portion seems to be getting bigger which is a plus. read more
