We ordered two Pollo Saltimbocca dishes (one with a cream pasta substitution for an additional $8), the Pollo al Limone, and a half bottle of Chardonnay. The restaurant offers one indoor dining area and two outdoor seating areas--one in the front and one in the back--which gives guests plenty of seating options. The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. Overall, we'd come back to try more of the pasta dishes on the menu and hope to discover a new favorite.

I made a reservation for a Thursday evening, and even though it's right in the heart of downtown, we were lucky and managed to find street parking in front of the restaurant with free EV charging! Right when we stepped in, the interior is decked out in a modern art deco style. Vibrant & fun colors while still maintained a sosphiscated touch. After a few recommendations from our server, we decided to try: Mushroom Arancini (10/10): These are amazing, as soon as they brought it out, we can both instantly smelled the truffle oil. The exterior were crispy & pipping hot, the inside has creamy mushroom. It was certain my favorite of the night! Rigatoni alla Vodka (8/10): A solid pasta! The sauce was great and balanced. There was a good amount of sauce that coated in the pasta. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente! This is a staple dish but I felt like it might lack an interesting flair. Stuffed Branzino (8/10): Another solid dish! The whole were already debone which made it so much easier and fussed free. The skin on top was insanely crispy, the meat were juicy and overall tasted very healthy and fresh! It was a nice paired to the heavy pasta dish! They also gave us 2 cute canolis as a free birthday dessert which were super good! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for a date night and I'm glad I took my partner here! I even got $20 off the bill just by downloading their app and creating an account. Definitely planning to come back!

We started with the garlic bread for appetizers. It was well presented but I think it would've been well paired with some sort of dipping sauce because it was a little dry. My boyfriend ordered the thousand layer lasagna and really enjoyed it. I ordered the rigatoni and thought it was just okay. I didn't realize the dish didn't come with protein so it felt like the dish was missing something. The sauce itself was nice but for some reason, some of the pasta was undercooked and some of it was al dente. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate pudding and tiramisu. The presentation was so beautiful. Both my boyfriend and I loved the pudding most -- I would definitely order this again. The tiramisu wasn't bad but it would've been better if it had a stronger coffee taste and if it was a little more moist. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and definitely made our visit feel special. She paid attention to the small details like helping us label our boxes, which I've never had anyone do before. On a completely unrelated note, I was surprised to find the bathrooms are shared between both genders. While there are separate stalls, the sink area is shared, which I wasn't expecting for a nicer restaurant like this. But I would say overall the food was hit or miss but the service and experience overall was amazing:)

The location is pretty convenient, just outside Downtown San Jose, and parking is relatively easy with a decent amount of parking available nearby. One thing that has been consistent every time I've visited is the service. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and attentive without hovering. They're usually nearby when you need something, which makes it a good spot for a work lunch or dinner where you don't want to spend half the meal trying to get someone's attention. It's definitely a little on the pricier side, but I've been happy with the food so far. I haven't had anything here that I thought was bad. On my previous visit, I had the spaghetti carbonara, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. This time I went with the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was a solid, comforting plate of pasta, and they finish it off with freshly grated Parmesan, with the amount based on your preference. I also tried the espresso martini this time. It was smooth and enjoyable, although I didn't get much of an alcohol kick from it. If you're looking for something stronger, this probably isn't the drink I'd go with. Portions are decent and the overall atmosphere works well for both business meals and something more casual. I could also see this being a nice option for a date night if you're looking for Italian food in the area. Overall, Palermo has been a reliable choice for me. It's not the cheapest Italian restaurant around, but the combination of good food, attentive service, convenient location, and easy parking makes it a place I'll continue coming back to when I'm in the area.

We had kids with us and they managed to move things around for us to be comfortable. Thank you very much for the amazing service and laughs! The appetizers we ordered were pretty good -- bruschetta (fam favorite), burrata + prosciutto, beef carpaccio, and calamari (a little tough). I really enjoyed my spicy rigatoni! That was so good and creamy and just the perfect kick of spice. Everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs -- Milan fettuccine, Linguine Vongole, Beef lasagna, and spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately the risotto was not the best, it was a bit overcooked and tasted more like salty rice than creamy risotto. Overall it was a great dinner and service! Hope to be back soon!

Once you walk in the room is very spacious and it's beautiful to see the chandeliers and the wall of wines, and nicely decorated inside. The servers were attentive and service was great. Here's what we ordered for our party of 4: Appetizers: Calamari Fritti $22 (4/5) Nice and crunchy pieces of calamari (not overly fried), green beans, artichoke hearts. This I enjoyed a lot, and it came with 2 dipping sauces. Caprese $16 (4/5) Cant go wrong with some nice mozzarella, yummy fresh tomatoes and balsamic glazed. About 4 pieces of each. Beet Salad $16 (4/5) Super refreshing beets, orange pieces, and really goooooood goat cheese chunks all went well together Garlic Bread $8 (4/5) They give you free bread too so if you don't want basic bread (which was still really good) with their olive oil/balsamic get this. The bread was slightly crunchy, and had a nice garlic cheesy topping Entrees: Spaghetti Carbonara $25 (2/5) If you know me, you know I love a good carbonara. I don't know what happened to this dish, but it was so so dry. There wasn't much sauce, so it was hard to eat. I am misled because their menu says (CREAMY RICH SAUCE). I think they forgot to make it like that. Chicken Parmesan $35 (2/5) The chicken parm was ok, it had a nice cheese top and marina sauce. But the pasta it went with was terrible too. NO FLAVOR! Spaghetti Bolognese $24 (4/5) This was the only pasta from the 3 that was acceptable. It had a lot of sauce, meat, flavor and the noodle wasn't under or overcooked. We had a bottle of Kali Hart Chardonnay 2024 and went well with our dishes. They also gave me a complimentary ice-cream to end my night. Overall, I would love to come back to try other dishes but was so disappointed on my pastas.

The service was okay and the ambiance was your typical Italian deli offering wines, cheese, meats, etc. The ornamentation was of interest to view with a lot of football memorabilia. The pastrami sandwich lacked the smokiness and salty pepper. I thought the thousand island dressing was a bit funky but it did add flavor to the meat. The corned beef wasn't savory at all. Yes, both meats are similar, but both were extremely bland. The beef raviolis were a disappointment. Now I understand the highlight of a ravioli should be just that, but sorry, it was mush, not pillow like. There was no constancy. No chewing required. The sauce was not to my liking-it was like eating tomato sauce with sugar. To sweet! Sorry, La Villa, I prefer a more savory garlicky Italian herby flavor for my Italian palette.

We called ahead around 845 to verify our 9pm reservation because we saw they closed at 9:30pm and we wanted to be respectful of their time. Bryan answered the phone and assured us we will have enough time to be seated and served before closing. He was very kind and welcoming so we headed over. We were greeted by Chris and seated immediately in the table that he let us choose. He made thoughtful suggestions on location being by the window, the booth where it was quieter or wherever we wanted because "this place is yours". This is not a typical thing I usually experience when being seated so this stood out to my wife and I. We appreciated this gesture. Once seated he took our drink orders, my wife wanted to try one of the wines before getting a glass so he brought a small sample. Once returning he asked if she wanted to select another or "take this one for a drive". The expression was simple and displayed the thoughtfulness that came from him the entire night. Simply taking time to craft words and be present is something that we noticed and appreciated. We ordered a carbonara and a pasta with prawn. The food came out fairly quickly since we arrived at a time past some of the peak hours. The bread with olive oil and balsamic came out first obviously. The carbonara and prawn pasta was so beautifully plated and presented that we forgot to take a picture for this review. We dug into the food immediately. At this time, maybe a coincidence, I checked my watch to be mindful of the time. At the same time, Kevin walked up to our table to let us know what we are good on time and that, "the back hasn't started the dishes or started cleaning up yet". There were still other parties around at that time. This was another detail that stood out to me. He might have seen me check my watch but to know what I was thinking at that moment and then respond to it is a first for me. This is beyond thoughtful. After a couple more wholesome interactions with Kevin and Chris, we ended up ordering a pannacota. This was the best I have ever had in my life. Kevin stayed for a while to chat while Chris was tending to other tables at the time. I can't say enough about the warmth in this place shown by Bryan, Chris and Kevin. I will definitely return and I want to bring my family there. The food was top tier but the people were what will bring me back.
