Pizza is always a must for me and this spot by my house is always a great place to visit when craving some pizza. There are some hole in the wall spots in the Bay Area regarding flavorful pizza but I believe Mountain Mike's always does what it's supposed to. Place doesn't feel very clean and the atmosphere isn't very welcoming--slightly pub-like, kind of dark and meh. Got the pepperoni pizza. Crust was okay, cheese and toppings decent, but nothing amazing. Service wasn't great--a bit inattentive. Plaza itself felt a little sketchy. Not super crowded when I went on a Saturday (afternoon non-peak hours), which was nice. Overall: decent for a quick bite or takeout, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way for. Probably fine for casual pizza cravings, but don't expect anything special. read more

Super disappointed and honestly grossed out. I ordered from this place through DoorDash and never even got my first delivery. DoorDash support had to reorder another pizza for me at no cost. The second delivery guy was completely lost, called me multiple times, and we played phone tag for several minutes before he finally showed up. When he arrived, I ended up with both pizzas -- apparently the "missing" one magically appeared during the second delivery. And guess what? The first one that was supposedly "delivered" earlier was covered in ants and completely cold. Absolutely disgusting. To top it off, I ordered a Coke Zero and they gave me Diet Coke instead. Between the mix-ups, the delays, and the ant-infested pizza, this was a total fail. Still hungry and super disappointed. Do yourself a favor and don't order from here. read more

I've ordered here multiple times and it's one of my favorite pizza places. The breadsticks are also surprisingly great. My go-to order is the Everest pizza (combination) with a side of garlic sticks with cheese. I usually call ahead and pay when I pick up my order. This place has never failed me. I usually call in my orders 20-30min ahead so by the time I get there it's ready. Some times it's hard to hear them over the phone. On Sundays they have a 25% discount on large pizzas. Their Everest is my go-to. They don't skimp out on the toppings and load it up with various meats (sausage, pepperoni, etc). Sometimes they give little peppers/cheese so I usually ask for more. When I pick up the pizza, I'm in and out in 5 min. Great deal, delicious pizza & fast service. read more

My pepperoni pizza had the same good flavor I find a MM in Milpitas. Also, there was good service. It as a Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, the pizza was too dry, not up to the standards I expected. 2 stars for their service . I didn't get to order anything. Came in because I saw a ad outside their store that says Lunch buffet M-F 11-2. I came in and asked for the lunch buffet and the staff there said "no" I said no what? He replies " No buffet" I said there is a sign painted on your window that's says Lunch buffet. 40% off on Tuesdays. I came here on a Tuesday night for my daughter's birthday, surprisingly the place was empty. I was able to get 2 tables for the party. The staff was super busy with to go orders but they were still very friendly and attentive. Also don't forget to download the app because every $100 spent is a $10 reward. At first it was easy to miss the location. Walking in you're hit with that old attic smell which is disappointing because that's not what you want to smell when you're hungry. It was a very large space and we sat in a booth under a tv, it was pretty loud but not a huge deal. The staff was friendly, they brought our pizza to our table, we ordered a pepperoni & mushroom pizza which was okay, it really didn't have any flavor to it all, just ingredients on some bread. We have eaten at a MMP before and you can taste the differences, also a worker was cleaning the restroom so a strong smell of the chemicals just kept wafting in the air. Placed an online order for one medium-sized pizza. We got to the restaurant 20 minutes after placing the order, which was the time that it was supposed to be ready. The cashier told us they need 10 more minutes to finish the pizza. Understandable, they were pretty busy and had a few other people already waiting for orders as well. After another 20 minutes of waiting around, a worker checked on my order and he told me the order will take about another 40 minutes. This was just ridiculous... Over an hour of waiting for a single pizza. At this point, we asked if we could just cancel the order and get a refund, to which the worker told us he "doesn't know" if we could do that. We just left at this point. As for the other customers who were waiting for their orders: one guy placed his order of four pizzas 2 hours before we got there and he was still waiting. Others who were already waiting when we got there also had to wait over an hour for their orders. Meanwhile, people who had just entered the restaurant were getting their orders right away. The staff is also pretty rude. I saw one worker pick up a phone call and immediately place the phone on the counter without saying anything. And the last time we went here, the cashier gave me the nastiest attitude before I even opened my mouth. I would advise staying away from this restaurant. I don't think I see myself coming back again. read more

(This review is based on my trips with a coupon for a large specialty pizza for $18) Got the snowy alps twice from this location - was very pleased with the pizza both times! The crust was perfectly crispy, the pizza full of flavor. The price (with the coupon), reasonable enough for me. The pizza is cut into like 30000 slices, but service is quick, the food is good, so I would definitely keep visiting this location if they keep up the supply of coupons. read more

Ordered on their site and it said an email would be sent indicating they confirmed my order. Waited an hour to see what was up. The place itself on an early Friday evening was only a little busy. I asked about my order asking if they even started making it. Instead of apologizing, the lady working that night gave me some bs saying it's currently in the oven then tells the cook in her native language what my order was. Paid and wasn't given change back (even though it was only 2 cents). The garlic knots were a bit burnt and I was never offered any cheese/pepper seasoning or any dip. If you're gonna lie to a customer about their order, at least don't make it obvious. This is why I prefer to cash tip after picking up. Probably should've gone to the Milpitas location. read more

I always loved Mountain Mike's Pizza. I never experienced a bad location yet. Glad I stopped by this one today. First time here. Great staff, detailed, quick & efficient. Happy folks. Room was very cool inside with sports channels on screens. Had a full coupon paper in my hand for one specialty large pizza just under $25. I would buy two large pizzas with two toppings each as coupon shows just under $40, but I really only wanted one specialty pizza today. Ordered Snowy Alps in person. I probably ate everything on the menu in the past few years at other locations. It took less than 15 minutes or around that 12-15 minutes here today. Most places may take 20-25 minutes or 35 minutes when busy. They do have veggie option. Salad bar looks like it's in business right now. Clean/organized. Delicious. They rarely lose touch of the pizza making processes. Fresh ingredients, good balance, well blended, generous toppings, but most importantly, it's the pizza crust. So soft, so thin, and easy to digest. Bread yummy! Tasted great! I also like how they sliced up my pizza into smaller narrow triangle pieces. Easy to share and manage portion control. Some places don't cut those edges too well with a pizza cutter. Will be back next time. Forgot to take photos. Pizza was in very good appearance and shape. Loved all the toppings on it. Very good and absolutely delicious pizzas. Get those coupons handy! Pizzas are pricey these days when it hovers around $30 or more, so today's total of $27.33 takeout pizza/taxes included was really not too bad at all. I only go for the quality & taste. There's always a good pizza place for everyone. Find yours! read more

On the bright side, they were able to seat my group of friends in the backside area. That space is still fantastic for large groups, featuring great music and painted walls. The staff itself was also nice and friendly throughout our visit. However, the menu and food quality have taken a step back: - Menu: They've removed quite a few pizza options and cut the pasta dishes entirely. If you're looking for vegetarian options, choices are very limited now. - Pizza: It just wasn't cooked as well as it used to be. It felt heavily dough-dominant, lacking the generous amount of cheese that used to make their pizzas so good. - The Sides: We ordered the garlic fries, but they came topped with what looked like an entire solid strip of dried parmesan cheese, which wasn't great. Overall, we had a decent time because of the atmosphere and the service, but it's no longer the 5-star experience I look forward to. It definitely needs a few improvements - specifically faster service, bringing back a few more vegetarian options, and stepping up the food quality control to match the standards they used to have.
