I love building my own pizza a that's exactly what MODs is. The line is really quick and the workers are very friendly helping you make the pizza. I always ask for extra pepperoni and the portions are really generous. The reason I didn't give a 5 was one time I ordered to go and the pizza was really burnt where I had to only eat the toppings but not the crust and didn't realize this until I got home. I should have double checked before leaving so it was partly my fault. The inside is very clean and there is lots of space for parking and dining in. My friend and I stopped by MOD Pizza during lunch on Halloween. They had a 31% discount if you wore a costume so my friend and I split a create your own MOD (11") pizza. Pizza was good overall. I mean, all my favorite toppings on a pizza, you can't really go wrong with that :) When we got there, the place was pretty empty which was understandable as it was lunch on a weekday. In regards to figuring out what to put on the pizza, it was a little hard to see all the available options for the custom pizza. I wish they had put labels on the glass or something. The person putting together our pizza was new so it took a little long as well. Flavor-wise, the pizza was good. You can't really mess that up if you're picking out the sauce and toppings. Structurally, the pizza doesn't really hold together well with a thinner crust and is a little floppy with the weight of the toppings. I wish the crust was crispy, but I was pretty neutral about the pizza dough. Also, my friend and I did a half-and-half so we picked our own toppings for our own half, but the half was...off...even when they cut up the pizza slices. I love custom pizzas, and I would definitely come back if I had the chance to. I'm not one to ever crave pizza so that might not be for a long while, but for the price you pay, I think it's super cheap and affordable. It's amazing how my overloaded ricotta, mozzarella, asiago, bacon, sausage, artichoke, mushroom pizza and my husband's simple pepperoni and bacon pizza come out to be the same price! You can never go wrong with a build your own pizza! The pizza will always be great but the service at this location was really unpleasant. When it was our turn, we told worker A we wanted 3 pizzas. Worker A proceeded to prepare 3 doughs for this pizza. I told Worker A that the first one will be a Mad Dog pizza. Worker B came by and took the first dough and started making the pizza without telling Worker A anything. Worker A mustve assumed it was for a different order because she looked confused as to why Worker B took the dough without saying anything, so she proceeded to grab another dough for us. Turns out, Worker B was indeed making our pizza but didnt ask if we wanted any additional toppings, snatched the paper with the name on it, and brought it to the oven. Worker B proceeded to make the second pizza and wasnt eager to communicate with me at all. Then she snatched the paper from worker A once again with attitude and didnt say a word. I noticed some of the staff members weren't wearing masks and none were wearing gloves. So when they handled everyone's pizza before and out of the oven they don't wash their hands and touch other surfaces. I don't care if the CDC announces that masks aren't required because it's obvious the pandemic isn't over. It's sick to think that there could be bacterial contamination on everyone's pizza but also viral particles, as well.
