Great service! Nice people -- fast, everything I can ask for! Ordering in the app is easy. A mini hamburger has one patty whereas the big one has two. Love drawing Five Guys post its while waiting too. read more

They've lost me as a loyal customer of 25 years. Just got off the phone with the store manager, who made it clear they don't care. She said they are very busy and don't have time to address concerns of individual customers. Worst online ordering experience ever. Here's what happened: Last night at 6:47pm, I ordered delivery online at fiveguys website. This is important to understand what happened next. At 7:38pm I received "Delivery Cancelled, for more information call the store." So I did. Store associate said they have nothing to do with the website and can't help. She was the first to tell me to call DoorDash. What? Why? I then called Customer Support. They also said they could not help, so I asked for a refund. This associate also suggested I call DoorDash to request a refund. Again, why? I placed my order on fiveguys.com, not DoorDash. Tried to "Get in Touch" on their website, but after entering all the information and spending time carefully explaining my issue, I got a website error - contact your administrator. No help there. I had no recourse but to dispute the charge with my credit card. Two hours ago, I received a refund. Adjustment Explanation from Restaurant: Customer no longer wants order. What! I wanted my order, so clearly there was a misunderstanding. That's when I called and asked to speak to the manager, which is something I've never done before. I told her I wanted to be clear that it was the restaurant's mistake, I didn't change my mind. She really didn't care, and that's when she told me they are very busy and don't have time for my situation. She was the third person to suggest I call DoorDash! I can't even. At this point, after 25 years and hundreds of business meetings at what used to be my favorite craft burger joint, and spending hours on the phone trying to make it right, I asked what Five Guys normally does under these circumstances to retain a loyal customer. That's when she said they are very busy and can't address my concerns. She told me the refund is all they can do. It is with sadness that I bid goodbye to Five Guys. Plenty of other alternative craft burger options now. I'll make sure nobody I know has to repeat my experience. read more

Five Guys have the best fries ever. They have free peanuts also that you can enjoy while your order arrives. This place is next to other businesses but the parking is overall easy to find here. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. And I saw a staff member clean the tables frequently so its easy to get a clean table. And there are a couple of tables outside if you want to sit there. Food comes out pretty quickly so the wait time for you food is not much. Overall a good spot to enjoy some delicious fries. read more

Whenever I have a hankering for fries, I visit five guys. It is a little expensive, but you can see them making the fries FRESH right in front of you - never will you have stale, cold, limp and sad fries when you go to Five Guys! For about $10 for a large, its more than enough for two or three people to share. They fill a big ol cup and then put a whole other scoop inside the paper bag. It's endless! And they come out crispy, hot, and nicely flavored. Only thing is that its pretty salty so you have to ask for light salt and maaaaybe theyll make it for you. This location is in a plaza with plenty of other options like target and tk noodle so theres plenty of parking. The vibe in here depends on whether or not its busy. Most people order their food out versus staying to eat. I have also gotten shakes here multiple time and theyre made really well and absolutely delicious! Funnily enough the one thing im not super into is their burgers. Often soggy, and lacking in flavor - but ill visit for everything else! read more

I recently had a five guys burger after a long time and enjoyed it so much. I had to make a stop when I was in the neighborhood when I saw this location. The burger and fries were very tasty and filling and hit the spot. read more

Just got done with the delivery order from five guys and I'll tell you the burger was awesome. Fresh baking was cooked well plenty of cheese well put together french fries always as good as ever and they give you a basketful and yes, you hear about the prices but in my opinion, they cook a very good burger that the workers put into the service is also noticeable in the quality of the food read more

This establishment has the nicest staff. Every time I have come in everyone has greeted me and gone above & beyond to give great customer service. The food is good especially the Cajun fries with their bbq sauce...yums! I guess the ambience for this place is the great customer service. Much prefer this location over the alameda one. More parking spaces, this one is in a bigger plaza next to Target and other businesses. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger (1 patty). Food took 8-10 minutes to come out. The other day my family brought back hotdogs from here as well, you can add anything to the hot dogs because I pulled one out the paper bag and it came with cheese, tomatoes, and pickles. Main reason I liked it here better is because my burger was a lot less messy to eat. I originally didn't like five guys because I felt like my burger was always so soggy when I eat it there right away. I only got tomato lettuce onion and bbq sauce. Put ketchup myself while eating. It didn't fall apart for me. I got a regular size drink because I wanted to compare soda concentration -- all the same, pretty bland lol Been trying out five guys more for more variety in burgers but also because of the $10 amex credit read more

We've had nothing but excellent service at this location. Everytime we eat, late night btw, they always have a smile. Tables and floors are very clean. One time my girl left her purse her, we called and drove back and the night staff had placed in the back for safe keeping. Night crew is the best crew. read more

I like 5guys burgers and fries. But this has become a luxury item nowadays. The price just doesn't justify the product. Almost $30 for 2 little cheeseburgers and a little fries. I will admit the service was good, I was greeted politely and my food came out in a reasonable amount of time. But still the best part of 5 guys is the dry roasted peanuts. Love making a mess with these. read more

Food is a bit expensive. I paid $13 for the small cheeseburger and small drink & free peanuts. Bun got soggy & started falling apart, so it was messy to eat. I do like that you can add all the toppings you want. I did like the Fanta Halloween Theme choice at the soda machine. It was cool to watch it pour! read more

I know what your going to say, she back lol. In my defense I only come here once a year, literally. What can I say, I was in the area. And it seems every year I come I add a star. Looks like this location is up to three stars on my Yelp review. Came into 5 Guys to get my burger fix. The burgers and fries are always delicious and juicy, with crispy fries. This experience was much better than last 2 times I was here. The employee at the register was welcoming, patient and helped us out with our order. What a difference. However, why is there a tip option when you're paying if you're not getting table service. This is new to me and I haven't seen it before. Just my opinion but I feel if you're going to tip then you should have table service. Will come back again in the future when I'm in the area. read more

I was happy with the service here. My food was prepared faster than other Five Guys I've been to. The ambiance is the same as other Five Guys and the parking lot is huge. read more

This place is more expensive than your typical fast food but you are paying the premium for freshly made patties that feel home made, so the price is fair I'd say. The menu is simple; pick your burger or hot dog and choose any of the list of toppings to go inside (mayo, ketchup, mushrooms, etc) for free. Whenever I got the "little fries", it's anything but little... it's supposed to be just the little cup but they ALWAYS just dump double, maybe triple the amount inside the paper bag. probably enough fries for two, dare I say three people even to share. 5 stars deserved for the extra servings! read more

Five Guys - "Little fries" but they always hook it up with more! - Burgers Near Me - San Jose, California

My girlfriend and I visited on a Friday lunch and the food was good as usual! I got a cheeseburger "all the way" and she got a junior bacon cheeseburger "all the way". This was her first time trying it out and she said she enjoyed it a lot. The fries are one of the best around and they really give you a cup of fries and stuff more in your paper bag so you get your moneys worth. The service was good. When we were visiting though, there was an altercation going on between a customer and a worker. From what I've heard, the person was occupying the bathroom for the longest time and other people needed to use it. When asked to leave the bathroom, the face tatted customer started victimizing himself, threatening the workers and threatening to sue all while recording. The lady that was standing up to him was not fazed and did not back down! Eventually the cops arrived and the troublesome customer was dealt with. Props to the lady for standing her ground and not allowing the customer to bully herself and the other workers! But overall, a little expensive, the food was great and the workers were cool read more

I absolutely love Five Guys- it's probably one of my favorite burger spots so I'm a bit bias. The food itself is always amazing and portions are perfect. I usually get a "little" burger and it's plenty. At every single location you get triple the fries that you order so always order a small (trust me). This location the service was on point, fast and efficient. It was around lunch time on a weekend and it wasn't busy at all. Located smack in the middle of a plaza for all your shopping needs. read more

Friendly and great customer service great food made fresh dining rooms always clean shakes are amazing and food always comes out fast

This place is close to the Target I go to, and I've ordered maybe a handful of occasions. For a fast food restaurant, it is very expensive, and the burgers and fries are not any better than In and Out or even McDonalds. I guess I'm just not a big fan of the chain. The service and the inside decor are decent, but I don't foresee coming back any time soon. read more

Five Guys burgers and fries hits the spot once in a while for me. My bf was craving a burger which is unusual since he's not a huge burger fan. We ordered a little bacon cheeseburger, a little cheeseburger, and a small size Cajun french fries to share. The nice thing about Five Guys is you can customize your burger to include certain condiments and toppings. If you're carb conscious or on a keto diet, you can ask for protein style and forego the burger buns in place of lettuce. They have complimentary peanuts when you first walk-in and also sell hotdogs and milkshakes which are pretty solid too. The food came out quickly and the service was great. The only drawback for me was the Cajun fries legit tasted like the regular unseasoned fries. There have been times when I have come to Five Guys and an employee cooking the fries has a heavy hand and over-seasons. In this case, it was the opposite, the fries were very under-seasoned. I'll come back here again I'm sure but only if there's a sudden urge to get a burger fix. read more

They changed the signature fries! This location has managed to go even further downhill than when it started. I'm a fan of Five Guys but this one has always been subpar. Now on top of rising prices and waning quality they change the classic, thick cut fries they've always used, and I've always loved, to some stale thin cut version. Is anything sacred? Very nice and welcoming team gentleman. Great service overall! Gentleman with the pony tail and glasses was very kind

I don't order milkshakes here anymore because it's a bit of a sloppy job in terms of the food packaging (strawberry on the cup and then on my hand). The music was neither loud enough nor the usual rock-n-roll last time I went and got a soda and fries. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I literally walked in and turned around and walked out after the girl at the counter barked "what can I get for you." I was standing at least 10 feet away because I was still deciding and hadn't approached the counter yet. I LOVE the burgers at 5 Guys and have dined in many, but this was the rudest "customer service" experience I have ever encountered. Clearly this girl hates her job and you definitely don't want her making your food. Update: I emailed the company and the district manager got back to me stating he would look in to it. *eyeroll* What a disgrace to the chain. read more

So I started the year off with...Five Guys? Yeah, not the healthiest option, but it's really close to my place and was craving a burger. Their burgers are pretty good and their "junior" cheeseburger title is a bit misleading as it's really a hefty size burger on its own. The regular cheeseburger is two patties and bigger. Also, they don't cheap out on the fries. You get your money's worth. Overall, not a bad place, but not the greatest burger place either. Still, I left satisfied and that's what I want from my burger places. Overall, a pretty good spot. read more

Mikiel here, love the guys, love the food. My friend and I were gonna eat at home but the state of the place made us stay. No funky smell which was the main problem for eating in. Would definitely frequent this place. read more

Good food, good service, and good vibes! Victor over there is the man. He was good energy behind the counter!

After eating turkey for the last few days, I was craving a burger, not any burger, a Five Guys cheese burger! I had to make a target run, so I thought I would stop in for a quick bite. Since it is right next to Target I left kind of disappointed, I have my fair share of 5 guys from coast to coast! This experience was lacking to say the least, service was slow, the fancy soda machine was pretty much out of everything. The ketchup dispenser had no ketchup. There were peanut shells all over the floor and a bunch of target shopping carts blocking the door. There were only two other people in the restaurant and a few door dash people, it was a 15 minute wait for our order. My burger bun was hard, but the burger was cooked perfect! And the toppings were correct. Overall this places needs a deep cleaning and to be kept stocked up with consumabit's read more

The rudest staff I've ever encountered in a five guys. I definitely won't be back to this one and I'm not sure how far away the others are from me now. The woman at the register just stood there until I started ordering. You work in customer service the very least you can do is greet your customers who are the reason you have a job. At every five guys I've ever been to, in at least 3 different states, they call your order number when your food is ready and wait for you to confirm with either the number or the receipt. They literally just put my food on the counter and walked off. I walked up to see if it was my food and luckily it was. It would seem like since we are currently in a pandemic you would at least make sure people aren't walking up to grab orders to figure out if it's there's and just call out the number. The burger was super bland too. Tasted like nothing. read more

Picked up some takeout here recently after shopping at Target. We actually ordered on their app while we were shopping. And the food was ready to pick up when we were finished. NO problems with service and they were covid safe. Very easy peasy. Rushed home and it was all still warm when we got there. We were able to very easily customize our order over the app. Like I asked for extra mushrooms and grilled onions and I felt like I got both. But the onions were more al dente than grilled. I got a regular hamburger, which is actually two hamburger patties. It was huge and filled with all the toppings I picked. My bf got a regular hamburger. They also have the little burgers if you're not that hungry and only need one patty. We also got a larger order of Cajun fries. I've been to Five Guys before the pandemic - and they usually fill up the bag with so much fries, like overtopping the cup it comes in. This time, there were still more fries than the container but not as much before. We've both never tired the Cajun fries. I expected a bit of kick and it did not disappoint. The more I ate it, the more I could taste it in the back of my throat. I think I prefer regular fries but it's pretty good. read more
