I've been to two Wienerschnitzels and I'd like to say I'm surprised they are still in business. I went to this location to give them a chance and ordered 3 barbecue bacon hotdogs with no Onions and when I got home it was hot dogs and pickles. How can you get an order wrong? I have never said this about a business or a brand but all the wienerschnitzels need to go out of business. They scam or just mess up your order. I would only go to marks hotdogs from now on. Complete lack of customer service possibly because it's a family run franchise? So maybe their professional standards aren't corporate driven. I special ordered a jalapeño burger from the drive through with mayo, tomato and jalapeños only. Nothing was as ordered. It had no tomatoes no jalapeños and no mayo. Everything I didn't want was on the burger. I brought the food back and was told they wouldn't return it because I didn't have a receipt. I told them that I had not received a receipt. The manager told me that I can sit there all day because she gets paid by the minute which was probably more than I "make at my job!" She also said that she's going to ask the customer behind me to start honking their horn so that I moved my car. I've been going to this Weinerschnitzel for 30+ years. I am a loyal fan through and through when it comes to McDonald's soft serve. I can have this stuff on a daily if I didn't have any sort of control. So with that being said, my sister made a comment about how amazing Wienerschnitzel's soft serve was. I came into the idea very skeptical but since we happened to be having dinner at a neighboring Wienerschnitzel, I jumped at the chance to put her rave reviews to the test. This particular location doesn't offer dining in. There are a few tables each equipped with umbrellas outside and a drive thru that seemed to never end. Keep in mind that orders seem to take a bit of time because the fast food joint focuses on the drive thru orders. We didn't mind since we literally just had dinner. Our 2 soft serves on cones [one containing sprinkles] and an order of chili cheese fries [light cheese] came out and was quickly gobbled up. The ice cream legit tastes just as good as McDonald's but the product seemed to be a bit more on the creamier side & melted at a slower rate that its competitors. The chili cheese fries were warm but I appreciated the cheese being fully melted-which isn't always the case. 4 stars for my experience regarding food & dessert. Nothing screams weekend like ice cream and shakes from Wienerschnitzel! This place is known for their delicious chili-cheese dogs and fries, but have you tried their desserts?! My go-to is the vanilla soft-serve ice cream because it's not too sweet and the size is just perfect for me! The Oreos shake was also good! You can taste bits of the Oreos in the drink as well as eat the Oreo pieces sprinkled in the whipped cream at the top of the drink. I ordered 2 chili cheese dogs, 2 Chicago dogs, 1 chili cheese fries with bacon and ranch, and a 6 pack of jalapeno poppers. The only thing that was correct was the jalapeño poppers. I've been here twice since the new re-opening and everything was as tasty as one could expect. Here, we were able to feed 4 of us on $27, getting; 2 Angus beef chili dogs 1 corn dog 12-pack of mini corn dogs 1 Chili cheese fries order (enough for two people) 1 BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger 1 Oreo Shake 1 Iced Tea We all ate everything and were perfectly satisfied, none of us had any food complaints. If I had any slight criticism, it would be to be more specific about the BBQ bacon burger on the menu, stating it contains chopped onions (which I am allergic to) in addition to bacon, sauce and cheese. Ordered a regular chocolate dipped cone ($1.79 + tax) and they have a special of 5 for 5 (about $5.99) mix or match corn dogs and chili dogs, went for the corn dogs. My dipped cone was good not like the ones from McDonald's it would melt so fast, but if I ever get it again gonna get the mini because it was to much for me to finish lol. Corn dogs tasted the same as they did when I first tried them, but I suggest you eat them when you get them cause they will loose their crispiness. Then again that's how all fried food is. It's a fast food joint so don't expect anything fancy fancy. They have a lot of other items on the menu so if I'm ever in the mood just maybe I will try something else.
